Okay, other question. This is maybe tough. Some potential things:
You said that the exact meta for adc builds are currently unknown as of now, Should I worry about trying to redo all my hunter builds or can they still work?
But the first thing you can probably consider is that there is a hard shift away from
As long as you've got that covered, you should be generally okay.
Glad shield came out about 10 damage higher overall than void shield although there were other variables and I didn't have the time to test thoroughly I think for the Solo's role of diving the backline it is fine, although for tankier comps then of course a void shield will be better.
The way I would eliminate variables is to use a fixed prot number instead of just seeing how much damage I dealt to an enemy in jungle practise and maybe using the item on its own without a full item build with other damage such as item scaling or HS procs coming into account.
There might be more I can't think of off the top of my head but I found it interesting nonetheless. Also when paired with HS hitting a squishy such as
I would not suggest
Gaia now fills the solo sustain problem the way they want it, without having gods that can abuse shield like
KA still has 6 abilities which allows him to bully
Also saw an interesting build from Cyclone today in SPL on Ullr, that overcapped Pen slightly (WD passive, doesent overcap like Titans though and the pen is wasted). Trans Warrior Crusher Fail Not Heartseeker Atalantas and he sold boots for Wind Demon.
Devos Ninja Atalantas Rage Wind Demon as core items.
Last 2 items (6th, 7th/boots replacement) items from:
Fail Not Qins Poisoned Star Shadowsteel Shuriken Silverbranch Deathbringer.
Typical build order is looking something like:
1. Devos Ninja Atalantas Rage Wind Demon Fail Not selling boots for one of: Qins Poisoned Star Shadowsteel Shuriken Deathbringer
2. (High AS Stim Hunters) Devos Ninja Atalantas Rage Wind Demon Poisoned Star (Or Shadowsteel) selling boots for Silverbranch.
“Freezing” the wave is typically when the enemy ADC/Duo has pushed the wave up to / near your tower line but you don’t quite let the minions into the tower range. You wait for ally minions to arrive to damage the enemy minions and you dont damage the enemy minions at all except when they’re about to die, then you last hit them. This makes sure your ally minions take damage so you don’t end up pushing the wave, letting you hold ally / enemy minion meet ups near your tower line. This forces the enemy ADC / Duo to play near your tower line for farm at risk of ganks from your jungler / and or you soloing them (if you have a lead / damage potential to solo them in lane).
That’s the general idea of it and you can freeze the wave near the middle of the lane (usually both ADC and Supp) but it’s generally done near the tower line and by the lone ADC.
It's also something you can do in solo lane although in that case you need to be ahead or your opponent can easily break the freeze or kill you.
I mean, the only pots you bought on Hachi was health pots (4 of them), and yes you do need them for sustain in lane which is why the Support should buy it.
I’d also check the patch notes for the starting season 7 patch on the official Smite website.
Another resource you can use is the Wiki. You'll find most of it within this area: https://smite.gamepedia.com/Gameplay_Elements
For example, general lane minions...https://smite.gamepedia.com/Minions Full charts for this info.
Thank you, and good luck.
That has the listing of all jungle camps...again, don't know how accurate, but this says small harpies are 22 gold / 22 xp.
I'll inquire w/ Malvodion & the Wiki crew about accuracy of current #s.
Btw ı have a question. What do you think about Ra as mid / supp / solo after his upcoming buff to his 3 ? And since many Spear of Magus heavy mages affected by its nerf . Could Ra shine a bit more at those roles ? I'm not asking at pro level but think as ranked mostly.
His buff to his 3 is stupid and shouldn't have been buffed...it really strengthens team objective push too much IMO. If he was falling out of meta too much, they could have sped up the activation of the 2 and given it a stronger or longer duration slow, or something else.
Kriega, reread Hadeyan's question. He's not asking about Magus use on Ra, they are saying since Magus GOT a nerf, maybe this helps Ra a bit...at which point, I'd say it mostly helps ALL non-Magus users to one degree or another.
Solo: Ah Puch
Jungler: Sun Wukong
Support: Chaac
SWK Jungle is a spicy pick and can work situationally.
Funny enough, I thought AP was already listed in Solo...but I guess not. Maybe I used to have him there and dropped him from it at the point he dropped out of favor.
Best suggestion I have is if you don't have good distance clearing capabilities with the god you're playing against him, play and clear closer to your tower. Force him to extend and ask the Jungler to gank.
You might also play around with baiting his combo just out of range, if he's got an itchy trigger finger.
support is slightly the more hard CC you bring the more viable you are (hence why
For a Trans + Heartsseker build to be effective, you should build as much damage as possible.
But you can get
I don't think
If you compare it to
https://smitesource.com/gods/2113/builds/26eac90b-f155-406b-9f57-51ccf025899d
Just one example...Pythag's 2nd, Magus 3rd, then Ethereal Ob Shard Reaver. It's an S6 build. They will need to update.
I get that as a cookie cutter build it's fine (though again seemingly outdated for S7), but there are so many slight variances that can shift the feel of a build, or give you better options for countering this or that...to me, even if it's provided by pros, it's basically like people listing a single build on Guru or something.
In reality, the power of creating builds and providing explanations, options, gameplay, video, etc...SMITEFire really does provide an all-in-one solution. Too bad the pros aren't willing to invest time in it.
I would lovelovelove to, but the amount of work that would entail would be...too much, to say the least. In a general sense, ADC builds (and I only included hunter builds, not mage ADCs) are the simplest of the bunch, and I explain in the guide that I did that only for hunters because they're the simplest to build. Yes, there can be variation, but in terms of basic builds, those are fairly simple to display. Why? They're almost full damage builds, and there's very little counter-building at play. They often won't even build anti-heal, because their damage output will greatly outperform any healing.
I would say the next simplest builds would be Support, but those entail a lot of counter-building. And when you go Solo and you're a basic attacker or an ability god, and you're facing a magical or physical solo, and you have X or Y ability type, then the build directions spawn off into multiple directions.
As such, what you're asking for, although it might seem simple, is a ****ton of work, and could take up their own guide by themselves. We've had some people attempt this in the past (https://www.smitefire.com/smite/guide/become-the-master-assassin-s4-v-2-6-15903 for example), but even they never kept up with it. As for me, I don't make any $$$ on this guide (or any of my guides, for that matter), and they already take up a lot of time just to keep updated. Changing all builds just to keep up with the meta is unfortunately asking too much, even of me.
Your best bet is probably to look at individual god guides/builds for specific gods, and see about how to build from there. Keep in mind, my templates for ADC are there to give some quick education, but in the end, you want to learn the reasons for how you build, so that you eventually can develop your own builds with a solid base of knowledge.
You're always welcome to post questions on the site here, and we'll be happy to give advice.
Sorry, that information is a bit hidden away. It's there though.
There's a spoiler in the Conquest Overview chapter at the bottom (Camp, Objective, and Structure Details), and it gives information on all structures/camps including the Gold/Oni/Primal Fury. In the first paragraph at the end, it states "Spawns 5 minutes into the game and respawns in 5 minutes."
Hope that helps!
If you need beatstick swap warrior for ninja and crusher for beatstick. Or keep warrior tabi and swap jotunns for it. Or just get it later in the build.
>Also, should I ulize his life steal and go melee most of the time or should I focus on bow
You use lifesteal for boxing melee enemies and if your burst abilities are down or if you need to sustain off camps.
From the start of an engagement, you can start either in bow or melee stance, but often you'll save your melee 1 for stuns in the midst of a fight, or to initiate, then switch to bow...bow is (obviously) ranged and thus is more likely to allow you to get hits on enemies that aren't right on top of you. You will often save your melee 3 as an escape or chase ability.
I have some questions:
Fail-not helps teammates, Rage doesen't.
Anyway, no, I don't specifically think
And of course, instead of
Neith build:
Although crits get a huge boost, I still think some gods are better with Qin's than crits, and it also depends if they want to go Trans or Devo's. In most cases, Trans directions seem better for Qin's unless the god has enough self-healing that they can bypass lifesteal. Devo's obviously allows for either crit or Qin's, but with a stronger emphasis on crit, IMO.
Support will probably stay a bit longer in Duo. Not a lot longer. But I DO think they'll stay longer due to less aggression from lack of flat pen options, nerf to
Regarding the Void buff, no, what I have is accurate. Note what the patch notes say:
"Finally, the purple buff is being adjusted to provide less protection reduction, and instead provide a combination of attack speed with with protection reduction. This makes the buff more versatile and obviously, more attractive to hunters."
The current Void buff reduces enemy prots by 10 (+2 per enemy god in the radius up to a max of 4). So just that +2 gets dropped. The 10 prot reduction stays. Which means...if you've got, say,
BUT...for those gods that want higher AS and building into
The ones that would probably best use that build are those with very minor or unreliable AS steroids. If
Edit: okay maybe when you are a pure late game adc as Rama you may let your Supp get it as long as you said the Supp has some useful basic attack.
After that first drop, or maybe after the second, the ADC starts using it more regularly, especially when the Supp starts rotating.
I mentioned that it used to have % protection reduction, but it doesn't anymore.
