So her Rend scaling is 120%? (40% x 3) :O
HMMM.. that's going to get nerfed isn't it.

That's nice coming out off jungle... 2rend hits, jump on them, ult and basic away.
You prolly have 40 pen easily w/ blessing, crusher, boots

Or am i missing something?

They kept her damage numbers when they reworked her kit. Level 1 150 damage + 120% scaling if you get off all 3 hits is definitely going to get nerfed IMO.

What do you mean 40 pen? Crusher provides 15, blessing provides none, and none of the boots have pen. To get 40 flat pen, you'd need Jotunn's, Crusher, and BBS or something along those lines.

Nike is immune to CC for a short time while casting Sentinel of Zeus, isn't she? Da Ji caught me with Paolao and the chains broke when I used Sentinel of Zeus. Same for Baron. He couldn't push me for short period while I was casting this skill. If she is, why neither here and neither smite says something about?

I guess Sentinel of Zeus description is wrong. In fact now it is providing a Shield that is: 20/25/30/35/40% of Max Health and a 20% Slow, and both can be increased with Plan of Action in 20%.

Yeah, She's overpowered. legitimately no reason for console folks not playing her much, i mean, she's not all that fun tbh, but she is really strong.

her 1 is a supercharged SWK The Magic Cudgel, her 3 gives her access to the most powerful type of cc which is a knockup, and her ult is just bonkers. her passive is so ****ing good it's honestly disgusting.

just enjoy your freelo until console finds out about her.

I'm a PC player now Ducks lol. I haven't played console in months so I don't know about how much play she sees there. While I believe she's strong, I don't think she's broken. I still prefer Ama most of the time.
Let's be honest. Her passive is only maxed in either Conquest or Clash due to minion count being weird in Arena or the small number of Joust minions. And most joust games end before level 20 anyways.
I've never get her to be broken besides her minion clear being a cleave. And that's some solo lane madness.

People don't like playing Nike cuz they get CC'Chained and can't handle it, I'm assuming that is the case at least, cuz I go nuts when I play her as well, even carried my friends who were playing Ullr and Ne Zha

I mean is she a viable God though? I use her in Arena but that's because I haven't played Smite in a a long time and I'm just getting back into the motions.
I like her a lot honestly. Her passive is just a bit strange.
Can't get it to work in Arena lol. Once you clear that many minions the game is over.

Everyone is going about Nike the wrong way. The build I have with her seems to work wonders for me which is: warrior tabi jotunns wrath transcendent or bloodforge AsI the health item (looks like a necklace it has 400 health mp(something) hp(something) the passive regenerates health. And the hide that gives cool down 60 physical and magical resistance passive that stuns enemies when health falls low. Thia build works wonders for me. I suggest maxing out ability 1 first then her rend then her 3rd last her ulti

Wrote the following in the official Smite forum, but thought general idea of theory-crafting would be functional here...

Function/Role: Firstly, she's basically just going to be used in Solo...she doesn't bring enough to the table CC-wise to be a Support, and doesn't have enough burst and/or CC to be a high-tier Jungler. Solo fits her quite well anyway...trade blows early, wait for team god and minion kills to boost the passive effect for a strong late-game for the entire team.

Style: To me, she's a blend of Odin (with her leap), Bellona (Disarm and AOE/wide area multi-hit clear) and Guan Yu (protection shredding & having to choose which ability will have additional effects via her Plan of Action). Her attack progression is 1/1/1.5, though it's nice that her first two swings have a wide cone (for wave clear and jungle camps). So she's basically ability-based, with any basic attacking stats as a secondary/minor focus.

However, just read that her Rend is easily stopped by hard CC...which means, in a counter situation against that, you might want to consider a basic attack build, which will help minion wave clear, camp clear, and give you different options to help your team.

Building )Ability-based): So, with not a lot of CC, I see her being built more as a standard ability-based bruiser, with some protections, definitely CDR, and maybe looking to get additional team function out of item passives.

Pen/protection reduction - you might want to consider her protection reduction ability, and shy away from Titan's Bane, as its % pen will be a bit less effective. Not a huge issue, but one to think about. I can see Brawler's Beat Stick being helpful for anti-heal and good flat pen, or perhaps Void Shield for the power/protection/enemy prot reduction. And of course Jotunn's Wrath, but I consider the 10 flat pen to be a minor perk of that item. With no Titan's, obviously focus would be on the more squishy enemies (like it should be anyway).

I can also see other team-based items being good, rather than just pure individual survival (so Pestilence or Heartward Amulett as opposed to Bulwark of Hope, for example).

One last thing to think about, but should only be a minor consideration...the more health she has, the higher her shield when she ults. So items with health are nice to have, but not crazy essential, since enemies that see her in her ult form might just choose not to focus her until it's down...basically it's easy to avoid.

Anyway, some proposed builds...

Defense first: Bluestone Pendant, Warrior Tabi, lane enemy counter-build protection item #1 (physical maybe Breastplate of Valor or Void Shield, magical maybe Genji's Guard, Runic Shield, or even Ancile?), Jotunn's Wrath, 2nd protection item (if you got phys first, consider Pest/Heartward or maybe Hide of the Urchin...something with health), Brawler's Beat Stick, Situational 6th item.

Aggressive start: Bluestone Pendant, Warrior Tabi, Jotunn's Wrath, Urchin or specific phys/mag counter item, etc.

Building (Basic attack-based): If you're facing a Tyr, Erlang or any other number of lane enemies with hard CC, the better bet might be to go basic-attack, and look to get as much out of your first two AOE basic attack swings as possible...and also enhance the damage of physical teammates by getting The Executioner, which will further enhance her protection shred when she uses Rend. In this situation, always use Plan of Action with Rend, and save the leap as an escape or initiation tool only, rather than as another source of damage.

Death's Toll, Ninja Tabi, lane enemy counter-build protection item #1 (physical maybe Witchblade vs another basic attacker, Runic Shield as general aggressive, magical maybe Runic Shield or Bulwark of Hope or Pestilence or Urchin), and then a choice (no specific order) of any of Frostbound Hammer, The Executioner, and any situational counter items.

Idk, like Dm, I think Nike is somewhat balanced atm. While the Slow is ridiculous, think that it's from a ultiumate that does that, damage, and a shield. It's CC Imunnity duration is a ****ing joke, and her kit is somewhat lacking if she uses Plan of Action for the ult...

Agree she is balanced in most ways I believe good changes that reduce the cool down on Plan of Action, increase the speed of her leap just slightly without using her 2. Then reduce the buffed slow and shield to 50% and increase the damage slightly. Lastly reduce the scaling on Rend then you got yourself a balanced and still playable goddess.
