Zeus's Lore

Smite God Zeus King of Gods, Zeus strives for fairness and justice, but will not hesitate to call down the thunder when there's smiting to be done.

Zeus' father, the Titan Cronus, immediately swallowed his children after birth so that none could overthrow him as he had is own father. When Zeus was born, Rhea, Zeus' mother, hid the child from Cronus and gave the Titan a rock in swaddling clothes, which he swallowed instead. In secret, Zeus grew up on the isle of Crete until he was old and strong enough to challenge his father. During their battle, Zeus slit open Cronus' stomach, allowing his swallowed brothers and sisters to escape, slaying the Titan. Then, Zeus released the Cyclops and other beings Cronus had imprisoned. In gratitude, the Cyclops awarded Zeus control over lightning.

With his two brothers, Poseidon and Hades, the three Gods drew lots to decide command of creation. Poseidon became king of the sea, Hades the underworld, and Zeus the sky. From his golden throne atop Mount Olympus, Zeus now rules Gods and Men with his wife Hera, upholding justice, hospitality oaths, and honesty to all under his domain.

Yet, Zeus is a restless God, and while he holds high expectations for others, he does not keep those standards for himself. Chiefly, Zeus is nearly infamous for several infidelities to his wife which have resulted in dozens of children beget by other women, most famous of which are Hercules, Artemis, and Athena. Such wanton unfaithfulness is the source of great jealousy from Hera, though as King, Zeus can ultimately do as he wishes.

Weather is dictated by the Thunder God's mood. When in a fair temperament, the sky is clear, bright and warm. When Zeus' anger flares, black clouds roll in, lightning streaks the sky and thunder shakes the very ground. Lately, Zeus has been furious.

There's a good chance we could if each of us who created a S3 guide collaborated but as it seems there's barely anyone who actually put time into their guide. Most of it seems so simple and quick that its sad to even look at.

I've taken a look at a few of the guides and many of them have poor explanation on why each item is chosen and explaining different advantages/disadvantages for certain items.

I, myself, am trying to update my guide weekly as I find out different builds that may work. I'll be tweaking the build with alternative items as I go along with new updates and new releases of gods.

I'll probably be putting a break on this guide til the next update comes out though. Lots of items are going through some chances and some of them are going to be costly to purchase for early and mid game.

Anyhow, that's that.

Well, the Season 3 guides each have their own advantages, but none of them are really "complete".

For mages normally joust and CQ builds are pretty much the same. Same counts for adc

All of these guides are incredibly old. Zeus needs some updated guides as badly as Nu Wa, and that's saying a lot. In fact, there's a lot of gods that seem like this site has forgotten them entirely. Eventually.

Well technically, there's 1 guide created after S3 launched. Although, it literally just has the item build with no reason why each item was chosen. Plain item guide and that's it. I'm actually playing zeus myself with the X skin I got so long ago. I do decent in joust but in conquest, I still haven't made a solid build. If I get enough time, I'll focus on making a guide if I can. It'll be my first time doing a guide as well.

Can we get someone to make a new guide for the new change to Zeus (aka his 2)

I have been debating on making a guide for Zeus but haven't had the opportunity to sit down at my laptop and utilize the features entirely. I would also like to get more feedback from the community to see how people feel about how they utilize his new ability. I know for myself his 2 is his second maxed ability behind his detonate. How do you utilize it for yourself?
I have a Rank 10 Diamond Zeus
