Awilix mounts her Panther Suku, gaining movement speed but decreasing strafe speed. Awilix may leap off of Suku to deal damage to all enemies in the target area.

Canceling this ability before leaping will not trigger its Cooldown.

Awilix flips over the last enemy she hit within 1.5s, rooting, crippling, and dealing damage as she passes over them. The damage dealt is modified based on the next attack in Awilix's basic attack progression. If the next attack is her third attack, then she also hits all targets in the area around her.

Awilix calls upon the power of the moon, immediately pulling to her the closest enemy god she is facing that is either leaping or knocked up into the air. The target god takes damage when they land. Awilix is then bathed in moonlight, gaining bonus Attack Speed and Physical Power, along with protection against Roots, Slows, and Knockbacks for 6s.

Introduction

Welcome to my guide for Awilix, Goddess of the Moon

I am a casual player who primarily plays conquest. My preferred role in conquest is the solo lane, however , despite a rocky start, has grown on me considerably after perfecting my gameplay. Thus this is a guide for jungle .

This is my seventh smitefire guide, and I intend to update it, so feel free to comment things that should be added/edited.

Regardless, lets move on to the Catlady herself, Awilix!

Pros / Cons

Pros:

Incredible mobility
Good engage and escape with Summon Suku
Great counter to gods with leaping escapes (eg: Neith, Odin)
Can synergize with gods with knockups (eg: Geb, Vulcan)
Great sticking and confusion with Feather Step
Decent lane clear with Moonlight Charge
Excellent at pursuing enemies

Cons:

Very squishy
Damage output very early game is lackluster
Absolutely no hard CC (excluding Gravity Surge
Only escape can be countered by CC
Landing Summon Suku is hard to hit and is necessary for your damage output

Early Game

You should begin by picking up for speed, , for jungle camps and a couple health potions (these are only used situationally, but they cost very little so it's best to keep them for when the time comes). Alternatively you can pick up to reduce the cooldown for your active and clear camps faster, or buy a health potion and a to anticipate incoming invades. Generally the second tactic is more useful in high level play. You should start by getting the speed buff and mana buff with your solo player and heading to lane.

You should go to lane with your solo laner for a bit in the beginning. Note that 's only early game poke is her which you can use to help your solo laner clear early waves. Other junglers will often times outpressure you if your solo laner has bad lane clear early game, don't let this make you over-aggressive, you need to maintain some health for the jungle camps or else you will have to return to base far too early. Once you've gotten some experience and the other jungler has more or less left, you can head out and begin farming jungle camps or helping mid lane. If focusing jungle camps, you should try to take out as many of these as possible, as fast as possible. Use to get around whenever possible, as you save far more time by using it to move around the map than it takes to go back to base and heal up your mana. However, it is very common practice to either go straight for a mid gank or to take out the camp on the solo lane side and then go to mid. This can sometimes secure an early kill or give your mid laner an advantage over the other, so it's a very worthwhile tactic. Finally make sure to be around mid when the 3 minute mark is up since the mid camps will spawn. These are highly contested and getting both gives your team an awesome early lead.

If you've taken out all the jungle camps and your ultimate is ready but there is still no opportunity to gank, either go to whichever lane is being pushed the most and help them clear some minions (helps them and you), or counter jungle the enemy's jungle camps if they've got slower early game jungle camp clear than you. Otherwise go attack some lanes and try to feed yourself with some early game kills. If you start slow with , not using your when possible and wandering the jungle not killing camps or minions, you will fall behind and you will have a very bad match. Avoid this at all costs.

I'll be updating them once the S3 meta starts to form (a week or two after the main patch hits live) since I don't want to update all of them just to have to redo them in a couple weeks.

Honestly this guide is kind of out of date (in terms of build, since I'm not updating it until S3), but Cake's build is pretty current with the meta rn if you want to go bruiser in any gametype. *why is hide so good X_X *

I play in conquest a bit, and I find that it's better just to buy 2 or 3 s every time I go back to base, until I have and/or built.
does give you a lot of power but, like you and Zilby said, it's a pain to stack, and she can do heaps of damage without it, so for the sake of 100 or so gold on a few of my trips back to base I find it better to get potions to alleviate mana issues.

I'm like you in the sense that my build's don't necessarily follow the general meta. However I have discovered that overall thanks to reports from people that help me test out my builds that my builds actually outperform the meta builds in almost all situations. My new goal is to change the meta... even though a google search of guides comes up with OMGAsia's old "Suku! I choose you!" Guide.

The meta changes so frequently in this game that I don't even bother unless something completely unique comes up that works better or counters what I normally do. Other than that, **** the meta.

When I wrote that it was under core actives, I hadn't changed it since the hog nerf :P
Regardless, I still don't find it worthwhile on her when she already has and a knockup, the only time I'd want to spend an active spot on hog is if I need it for objective security which is better for, if I want an offensive active I'd rather have or .

To be perfectly fair though, this is already the least popular in-depth guide on the site, so I'm not that inclined to sway to popular opinion with it to gain more views xD
I'd rather keep this as a more "my personal strategy" guide rather than a "this is the most meta build" kind of guide, (even though I do that to some degree with most of my guides anyway).

I did note that as an option :P

I'm well aware that and give you more damage output lategame than and . However, I still like the amount of choice and flexibility you get when you don't go for a crit build, and the utility that you receive with extra lifesteal and healing cancellation.

That isn't to say that I don't use and as my 5th and 6th item choices quite often, I just usually find that I use beatstick and bloodforge maybe 60% of the time versus their 40%
