PASSIVE - You gain +3 Magical Protection and +3 Physical Protection for each god kill or assist. At 7 stacks this item Evolves, providing a Health Shield that gains stacks every 2s. Shield only stacks if you have not taken or dealt damage in the last 5s. Each stack provides 10% of 100 Health + 5 Per Level.

Viability / General Use: High viability. Selfish tank item with balanced protections and health, that requires stacks of kills/assists to achieve full potential.

Advantages: Strong balanced protections (once stacked) with good health and mana.

Disadvantages: Does not provide any outside utility.

Restrictions: None.

Discussion: This is a protection item that provides a strong balance of stats for tanks. With no auras or other effects, it is not considered a good "Support" item, but can be good for Solo-laners, or for some bruisers looking for a single protection item.

I'm not so sure this is a High viability item. I don't see it built too often, and I feel that it is a bit overrated. It is best to build this item when you feel that you can stack it quickly, making it somewhat situational, and giving it a lower viability.

I personally also feel it's overrated...it's pretty rare that I build it. If it had health, I would build it more, but instead it has mana, and that doesn't feel like the item has synergistic qualities. Typically, I prefer Midgardian Mail to it.

Any others feel it should be either Medium or Medium / High?

Hey Bran, what's the max health shield you gain from this item?

The max health shield is the "100 health + 5 per level." At level 20, it gives you a 200 health shield, and when you regen the shield while out of combat, you regen 20 health every 2 seconds, with a completely depleted shield being fully restored in 20 seconds.

They ban minion stacking items, not kills/assists.
