This is what you want to start off the game. Keep your armor on until your about level 6 or 7 because you dont get that big of an increase on damage or speed early in.
Assassin's Blessing

Mana Potion
Once you have your boot finished you will want to get Transcendence to get your stacks early and majorly increase your damage. Once you have these you can decide to get Gladiators Shield or Crusher depending on how much damage is being done to you. Once you have all these items get Deathbringer, this will make it so you will be able to melt through the tankier gods.

Hello, I have seen not that many in depth and that great Achilles jungle guides, so I'm here to bring you guys the one i use and do really well with.
Achilles is the newest addition to the gods in Smite.
Achilles is classified as a warrior who is known for his ability to sustain early and do damage late game because of his passive Gift Of The Gods, this makes it so Achilles can wear armor and give himself more protections and health or he can not take the armor and gain increased damage and movement speed. This makes Achilles one of the strongest gods in the game right now.
Achilles has a really good kit for being a jungle but there are some cons to his kit that makes him struggle to get a kill sometimes.
Pros: Very Mobile
Very Tanky
High Damage
Great Boxer
Can Stun
Can Heal From Abilities
Cons: No Real Getaway
Has To Get Close To Stun
Ultimate doesn't have a lot of range
Early game isn't that strong
Gift Of The Gods
Achilles adapts to the tide of Battle. While in the Fountain, Achilles can choose to wear armor, granting him bonus Health and Protections, or forgo it, granting him bonus Movement Speed and Physical Power. To swap, use Achilles Basic Attack while the Passive targeter is active.
Health Bonus: 35 +10 per Level Protections Bonus: 5 +1 per Level
Movement Speed Bonus: 3% +.2% per Level Physical Power Bonus: 10 +2 per Level
Shield Of Achilles
Achilles punches forward with the edge of his Shield, inflicting massive damage and stunning enemy targets hit by the impact. The force of his punch continues to radiate past his initial target area, dealing 80% damage to targets farther away.Stuns for 1s
This ability makes it so Achilles can stun and get to put out his damage on the enemy, this ability is what makes Achilles be able to jungle.
Radiant Glory
Achilles is blessed by the gods, giving him bonus Physical Power, Protections, and Crowd Control Reduction for 6 seconds. While this blessing is active, Achilles will heal himself upon successfully damaging enemies with abilities.
This ability makes it so Achilles can heal from his abilities and change a fight in his favor or sustain and stay out to help his teammates longer. This ability also buffs his Protections and Physical power by 15% and also gives him a 20% reduction to CC
Heal:23/26/29/32/35(+10% of your physical power) Max Heals per Ability: 2/2/3/3/4
Physical Power: +15% Protections: +15% Crowd Control Reduction: 20%
Combat Dodge
Achilles dodges his enemies' attacks before striking them in swift response. If Achilles successfully hits an enemy god with this strike, Achilles can use this ability once more before it goes on Cooldown.
This ability can help Achilles get away or get closer to his enemies. It lets him dash forward a small distance and throw a spear, which if it hits he gets to dash and throw the spear once more before it goes n cooldown.
Fatal Strike
Achilles dashes forward and attacks. While dashing, Achilles will pass through minions, stop and hit the first enemy god he encounters, dealing damage to all he hits and executing gods below 30% Health. If Achilles successfully Executes a god with this ability, he can use it again, up to 5 times.
As Achilles successfully Executes his enemies, he becomes more reckless in combat and leaves his heel exposed. Achilles will become more susceptible to damage, stacking up to 5 times.
This is Achilles Ultimate, it is what makes him turn the tides of a fight really quick, if he lands it on an enemy who can be executed he can use it again and again as long as he kills someone with it every time, the only downside to this ability is that you have to get relatively close to the enemy to hit them with it.
If you have any questions or want me to add anything that you might have thought i have missed or that you just want to know, just leave a comment and ill try to respond as soon as i can. Thank You.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

What were we talking about?
It's okay if PTSD has a build that works for him (at least in some cases), but if you're going to put this build head to head with a more "standard" build that has item / god / role synergy, it's likely to fail. Due to the limited writeup, it's difficult to tell if this is just a "for fun" build or if the creator feels it's highly viable.
PTSD, don't mean any offense by the above. Not saying you haven't had success with it, but success can be situational. I'll try to provide some explanations as to why your build could be improved.
- Your starting items in Jungle could be better. Specifically,
Boots as a starter is a tough call. Early movespeed is very helpful for rotations...but 500 gold for just 6% MS and no other stats is expensive and doesn't have the value you'd hope for. Common starts in the Jungle will see the purchase of
Mace. Yes, it's 150 gold more, which means you can only buy 3 potions max, but the 15 power it provides is more helpful for early camp clear speed, which is more important than MS. (Also, you get decent MS from the Speed Buff, which with a 2 minute duration and 2 minute respawn means you can almost always have it)
- The reason Kriega says
Gladiator's Shield is for solo and not jungle is specifically because the passive means you're looking to box with your enemy often...each time you trigger an ability, it activates and gives you some health and mana back, but it has to hit an enemy god, not a camp. Since a lot of your early game is going to be against camps, and with small exchanges here and there (but against all sorts of enemies, not just your solo-lane opponent if you're in solo), you won't get nearly as much out of it. And the name of the solo game is sustain, so Glad Shield fits.
- Not that defense items aren't good in some cases. If the enemy team has a specific comp that is really helpful for you to build against, it can be helpful. This is why you can see people that chose him in the SPL have gotten items like
Ancile,
Void Shield,
Mantle of Discord, etc. But those have better function for the jungle...enhancing damage with protection reduction, giving a silence at low health that can allow you to escape or maybe give you enough time to land a final blow, etc.
- There is nothing in
Achilles' kit that makes
Deathbringer a good item. Yes, when it procs, it can deal a lot of damage. But he doesn't have an attack speed steroid, nor does he have a crit-boosting ability (like
Jing Wei,
Artemis, etc.). Crit is just not suggested on him, because he's mostly ability-based. At the same time, you have other basic attack items in your "situational" list that are also not very optimal because they're basic attack focus...
Qin's Sais,
Asi, and
Hastened Katana among them.
- This leads to Kriega's mention of items like
Hydra's Lament. Just curious, do you know how to basic attack cancel and thread basics in between abilities? Besides providing CDR (which is important for ability users), Hydra's gives you bonus damage for a basic attack immediately after using an ability. Well guess what? This is not only great for that bonus damage immediately after using
Shield of Achilles, but you can get the effect TWICE...once after basic attacking after your first activation of
Combat Dodge, but again after you use it the second time.
- Boogie mentioned possible MS items like
Stone Cutting Sword and
Heartseeker. To clarify, yes the passives (just like Hydra's) are gained from basic attacking...but at the same time, they can be gained by weaving those basics in between abilities, rather than just a pure focus on basic attacking over and over. If you can fit one of these items in, they can greatly help with chase, escape, and rotation speed.
- In your item writeup, you mention being able to choose between
Gladiator's Shield or
The Crusher. We already talked about Glad Shield not being quite the best item for him, so I'd personally default to Crusher between those two. You also mention in the same section that you pick up Deathbringer to melt tanks. Rather, again, you will generally get better effect against a decent tank if you get some of the other previously mentioned items, along with
Titan's Bane (you don't list), which provides the strong pen to break through enemy protections. Other than
The Crusher, you don't really have any penetration items, which are important for getting the most damage out of your attacks.
- I find your skill leveling to be wonky, no offense. Your main damage skill is
Shield of Achilles, so in most situations, you'll want that maxed by level 10, not 12. Also, your level 2 ability should usually be your mobility,
Combat Dodge...not
Radiant Glory. Then you sort of intersperse leveling the different skills in a haphazard fashion...some into 2, then into 3, and then more into 2...FYI,
Radiant Glory is likely one you'll level at either 3 or 4, and then not touch until late game. The only bonus you get from leveling it is a slightly higher heal...the other bonuses (power, protections, CC reduction) are unchanging from level 1 to 5. It is your last priority. Dodge should be maxed 2nd. You can choose to level or delay
Fatal Strike as you prefer...it can be delayed because the execute threshold remains the same.
Hope these explanations help. Then again, if the tank is standing there, out of position, and doesn't put up much of a fight, yeah, you'll do good damage to them with DB as well (but not efficiently, because you only get 25% crit chance...hence boogie saying when you commit to crit damage, you should get 2 items).
Please go watch a Weak3n video or something and then come back and fix this build once you learn how to build
