Build Summary

Starting

Notes I like getting conduit, you can go the other mid starter for more mana and cooldowns for a more sustain style lane, and starting a lost artifact, you can also replace mana pots with multi pots for more health sustain.

Bead and Aegis are the default to go since cc and burst in this game is gross. Blink is nice of you're a gamer.

Core Items

Notes Doom Orb allows you to close the gap with its movement speed and gives you a lot of free power with it. Deso's passive is nuts and gives everything you want, cdr, pen , and power. Poly is good on Morri since you can buffer a basic after a stun by holding m1 during the stun. Tahuti lets you get that slight edge with its passive, its also loaded with stats.

Notes Soul gem is fun because it have team utility with healing, its also gives some sustain and burst. Soul reaver and Magus are more luxury picks that give you more damage for faster picks. Ob Shard is good if the tanks are harassing you and you want to put them back in their place.

Situational Items

Notes Divine is the magical antiheal item. Charon's is reall good for its percent pen, I would replace doom orb with this if you wanted to. Ethereal is good for extra survivability with its passive and cc reduction. Gem of Iso is good for its cc reduction and health, as well as the passive slow it give to help you gap close. Chronos is for cooldown spamming. Warlocks is if you're confident and can stack well, it just provides a lot of stats that are generally good at the cost of it taking time to evolve. Telk ring helps you box with basics for when you are on cooldown.

Introduction

This is a guide for The Morrigan, the Phantom Queen
My name is Pumpkin. I'm pretty bad at the game but I do enjoy casually playing for fun with my friends but I would like to make a guide out of respect for my favorite god, The Morrigan. This guide is majority for the mid lane, but it has limited information in some other roles. I do intend on keeping this updated with my opinions as to try to present this as the go to guide for The Morrigan.

With that all out of the way, lets get right into the Phantom Queen

Items

Starter

Conduit Gem is my go to starter on The Morrigan because I like early aggression and poking my lane opponents. You alternatively can go Sands of Time for a more sustained and safer laning phase. With Conduit Gem you can use your Dark Omen and chunk your laner to set up for a free gank, and it lets you wave clear faster, and push for a level advantage faster, because of its additional damage.
Item 1

Doom Orb is one of my favorite items because it gives so much power and give you the mana sustain that you lack because of Conduit Gem. The movement speed it gives you is also very nice since I would consider The Morrigan as a pretty low ranged mage with her Deadly Aspects. If the team you're facing has more tanks that are building protections against you I would exchange this item for a Charon's Coin for the percent pen.
Item 2

Spear of Desolation is crucial because it gives every stat that The Morrigan needs, power, penetration, and cooldowns. The passive on this item also synergies very will with Changeling.
Item 3

Polynomicon is very important with The Morrigan's burst damage. Since you use your basics between your abilities, you will be use Polynomicon's passive pretty often. Polynomicon's extra burst damage on its passive is proc'd by Doomsayer's tick damage.
Item 4

Rod of Tahuti is very strong, it provides a good deal of power and percent penetration which is nice, but it's passive so incredible good. Since you will be dealing a good chunk of damage with Deadly Aspects and Polynomicon, when you use Dark Omen they will usually be around 50 percent hp, which is when Rod of Tahuti is at its strongest. Rod of Tahuti also applies to the doom you mark people with.

TLDR: Get these items because they give good stats and have good passives

Gameplay

Laning

Teamfighting

TLDR: Poke in lane and fights, CC divers and to set up, Ult when on cooldowns or to secure kills

Conclusion

Hello I'm Pumpkin as said in the intro. I'm a fairly decent Morrigan player with 7 stars on her. I've had the game since season 4, but have only really got back into the game around season 7. I still play semi frequently and my account is ItBePumpkin. I usually just play with friends because solo queuing a MOBA sounds horrid. I sit in vc and scream at my friends while laughing really hard because the funny moments that the game generates is pretty good. If you want my discord for some reason its Pumpkin#6940. I'm constantly throwing games with my sick off picks like Thor support, Geb jungle, pre ultimate buff, or even picks like Odin mid. But all in all, Smite is a very fun game and I'm glad that I dragged my friends into playing with me.
Thank you for checking out this guide and potentially leaving a like, I hope it was satisfactory and well made enough to represent my favorite god, The Morrigan. With this guide I hope you absolutely crush it in the mid lane or even give Morri ADC a try.

Uhh

well this guide is incomplete so ill work on that later but i think it looks pretty ok for now. this was also my first guide so its a bit ugly looking hahaha... if you have suggestion or other insights, especially the synergies, that would be cool to know. i hope you liked my guide.

i plan of adding some clips of me doing the things i explain to add some flair to them, and im think of maybe changing around some of the art to make the guide more pretty

also check these out because they are live savers when making this guide.
