Introduction

Hi, I'm a bird, but on the internet, no one can imagine it !

More seriously and as you can guess, I'm a smite player, and my main are Ra, Anubis, Ao kuang , and a new one : Aphrodite

I played her only a few time , but since now ( the moment i write this guide), I never lose with her.

So, I was thinking of sharing love with everyone, but it's illegal to harass people, so i'll just share my build...

Aphrodite Intro

loving embrace

Aphrodite introduction

Aphrodite is probably one of the most underrated mage in Smite. She isn't played that much, and often, as a weak support. What I'll try to learn you is this guide, is the way I see and play Aphrodite. Perhaps you won't learn anything, perhaps you'll understand some tricks. But anyway, don't forget that any character can be played the way you like, so enjoy learning your way to play !

Team Work

First of all : The team work

Aphrodite was originally made for support, wich mean she have ability "made" for this job. However , She can be a very good mid, or a solo laner, because even if her 1 buff her only if it touch an ally, it's also a stun that can be used on fleeing opponent, or harrasing ones.

But in team fight, every one work together, and that's where you became a HUGE advantage : all your offensive item that give you power now also give heal to your "lover", wich mean you can save your ADC for the whole fight by playing smart, wich will spare a great amount of damage to secure kill. You can also save your guardian, allowing your "shield" to stay longuer in the fight, sparing CC and health for your team.

Like in every match you could make, don't forget to COMMUNICATE, especially as Aphrodite, because ally will rely more on you since thay all think you will heal him instead of the others. In the begining of the game, establish a code with your team (For example : you always heal ADC, except when someone use the command "Need healing!", and if it's an emergency, they should press it two times)

How to 3 vs 3 ?

A small reminder : In Joust, there's no left and right lane, only one middle, with 6 jungle camp placed on the side of this middle lane ( Mana and speed next to the phoenix, and damage situated around the middle of the map )

This placement affect the gameplay : you'll constantly face each other, all together ! But there's small trick to know.

First and as a mage, before the game begin, you should go and take the blue buff, and then go to the red that will go to your ADC/Warrior (or you if you are the physical god ). NOTE: if you manage enough your cooldown and mana, and you're not the only mage, leave it to him, it'll help him to do more damage (because he'll be able to strike more often)

If you die, of if you back, there's only one way to come back : Gank ! come from the jungle and try to kill them by surprise. You can take blue or red buff in the way if you're sure to take just a bit of damage

If you're already at the enemy phoenix, you can choose to come from the mid lane, but by coming by the jungle will allow you to pick a buff.

Of course, don't forget the enemy can do that, by just being carefull when there's only two enemy in the lane, you'll avoid a great part of the damage !

Items explanation

Now, the biggest part, the item : When, how, Why ?

The beginning : Shoes & Staff

shoes of focus

Pretty early CDR, a bit of AP and mana, it's a nice defensive beginning to stay longueur on the field. I prefer those boots to the Shoes of the Magi because with Obsidian Shard, you have enough magic penetration in mid game.

Rod of Asclepius

Good Ap source, health, and move speed. But also give nice health regen to nearby ally, but also boost your heal to nearby ally ! Wich is really important if ganked, or in team fight

Items : Should I heal or hurt ?

Chronos' Pendant

Mostly known for his CDR, it give nice AP and MP5. I'll recomand to take it at any cost, while you can choose between Shoes of the Magi and Breastplate of Valor. Why ? if you don't need physical defense, you won't take the Breastplate of Valor. In that case, you'll have Shoes of Focus and Chronos' Pendant that'll max your CDR. And if the enemy team build MR ( magic resistance ), you'd take Obsidian Shard , wich will give you enough magic penetration , so you won't need Shoes of the Magi, and then, you could max your CDR with Shoes of Focus and Chronos' Pendant. Why did I max Aphrodite CDR ? because her Kiss have a long cooldown : if you miss it on enemy, or on your ally, that will simply mean you failed the CORE of Aphrodite, and 12sec. of cooldown is way too long in a team fight to get your "main ability" back ( Here, it will mean the death of an ally without this ability ). With max CDR, you get 6 sec. cooldown, which is prety decent.

+

Obsidian shard + Soul Reaver

33% of Magic penetration and 70 AP, simply nice. I combine it with my favorite situational item: The Soul Reaver. Why ? The purpose of this combo is to poke the tank. If he max Hp , you'll take 15% of his hp. If he max MR, you ignore 33% of it. Of course, a Tank will mostly play on the two of them, plus the physical resistance, but it's still is a great combo, even if he didn't max MR and health..even against non tank. Look : I often get 700 ap, wich mean with Aphrodite , my Love Birds make in total 960 damage. With my combo, my damage will penetrate 33% of the enemy's MR, and will also make a bonus 15% of his max health as damage.

Rod of Tahuti

125 AP, and a passive that give you 25% of your AP in bonus ? I say YES ! it's probably THE core of all the mage in the game

Spear of the Magus

Passive allow you to reduce enemy magic resistance by 20+ 20% when you it him with 2 damaging ability (you will mostly only aply one stack ( 10+ 10% penetration) because you won't hit with your second damaging ability ( Back Off! ) except if the god you support is a melee one). This is quite usefull if you support a mage or a guardian ( especialy guardiant for the reason seen above).

Polynomicon

Well...I always take it to start when I'm mage. When I do so, I replace it by Bancroft's Talon later on. With Aphrodite, it'll just increase your healing with your Love Birds. It could be usefull, but I think it isn't the best item for her

Sovereignty

You want to support ? Here it is, a bonus of physical for you and your ally. More ? Some health too ! Personally, I play mage with her to be sure to max my healing, but it's totally viable to take that chestplate

Void Stone

Pretty much the most used tanky item for mage/support. It give Tankyness, Ap, and also an aura of magical penetration that'll help your mage/tank to do more damage in teamfight , but that'll also help you to heal more again.

Ethereal staff

The Ethereal Staff will give you a bit of AP , a great amount of Health and Mana, but will also convert 2% of your maximum health into AP. If you can't really imagine ow much it'll give you AP, just think that you'll have around 2500 HP, So, 2% of 2500 is 50, wich meant this staff would give you 80 AP in the end

Gem of isolation

The Gem of Isolation is an item that give a great amount of AP, health and mana for a mage, it'll also give your damaging ability a slow effect.

Help ! I'm loosing (for Mage)

Maybe I should go Hide of the Urchin....? NOOOO!

You are loosing ? Then you wouldn't be able to build stacks my dear...let's try a different approach, shall we ?

Bulwark of Hope

MR, health, and a shield, it's more the Bulwark of your last hopes. I will help you to play safe under fed enemies, with that, you'll be able to farm a little bit, and maybe, manage to save your match ( or at least lose it without being humiliated).

Breatplate of valor

So...here you go, they play physical. You have two option now: first, you sell your Shoes of Focus and buy the Breastplate of Valor and the reinforced greaves M, you'll have a little bit more of substain while keeping your CDR so you can Kiss everyone (Don't do it in real life, you'll just go to jail).

Hide of the Urchin

One of the most powerfull protection item, and most of all, it's stackable ! But this great advantage could be a disadvantage if you couldn't stack it, that's why you shouldn't buy it if you are losing, because it'll never reach his real potential.

DON'T FORGET EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY SAFE IF YOU'RE FEEDING ENEMIES! You are a team, everyone help everyone, communicate, help each other, try gank, but don't blame, and don't let the other blame you or your friends.

Situational item....yes...but wich one ?

First of all, you are reading a guide here, you shouldn't accept everything I tell you, you should think about it.

I placed above some of my favorite situational items, but I don't know in wich type of match you're going to use it, I can only try to imagine.

You have a brain, and there is a comment section below...ASK, CRITICIZE, THINK ! By acting that way, you help the other, but also me to improve this guide.

You have a brain, now, use it ! We all know that YOU can help and improve the smite gameplay in Smite , together, so think ! Don't follow order.

Support situational items

Against Physical opponents (3-2 physical, 0-1 magical)

Outsmart the punch !

If the enemy team goes physical, your third item, wich will also max your CDR, should be the Breastplate of Valor. It'll allow you to resist more, and so, support more your allies in early/mid game

For the fourth item:

You're winning ? Great, you'll be able to purchase and stack the Hide of the Urchin, wich will greatly improve your defensive stat !
You're losing ? Too bad...Go for Sovereignty, It'll grant an aura of protection to your team, and perhaps, help you to come back !

The fifth item you'll need to build is the Rod of Tahuti. It's well know passive will grant you more AP. Like I said again and again, the more AP, the better your heal will be !

Last but not least, the Ethereal Staff. It'll give you +80 AP when finished ( If you have at least 2500 hp, wich is given by the item i showed you in this guide), but it will also give you mana and AP, giving you more sustain, and again, a better heal.

Against Magical team (2 magical, 1 physical)

Kamahame-nope !

For your third item, you need to max out your CDR to heal faster with Love Birds, and you need to Kiss more (wow....that sound horrible...)! SInce there's no magical version of the Breastplate of Valor, you'll take Chronos' Pendant wich will max your CDR, and also give additional power and MP5.

Fourth item: the choice !

There's a physical enemy here, and most of the time, they do a lot of damage (ADC and Assassin mostly). Except if the physical enemy is a warrior who is building tanky, you'll need a bit of protection against him. In that case, Sovereignty is a great choice, but if the enemy is tanky, take the Bulwark of Hope for obvious reason said above.

Again,a choice, and again, the famous Hide of the Urchin. Losing ? Take the Void Stone to replace the MR it'd have given you (even if you won't reach what it'd have given you at full stack)

The Rod of Tahuti will be your last item in this case. once finished, you'll have a better heal, better damage, and better MP5 with a passive that'll boost your total AP : That's why it's a core

Mage situational items

Make it rain

The Chronos' Pendant should be your third Item with Aphrodite.Even if we don't play much support, the fact that Kiss doesn't have a cooldown if it reach an ally allow you to be aggressive as a mage , but also give a great amount of heal without especially focusing on it. Chronos' Pendant will help you to max your CDR and give you a great amount of MP5 and power. Wich will be helpfull to your ally in heal, and for you in damage, because you'll be able to spam (litteraly) your Love Birds and Kiss , transforming Aphrodite in a hard CC machine having a constant heal

This fourth item is a great item to go with if the enemy guardian goes MR in the beginning is the Spear of the Magus. It'll apply, if you manage to place your two damaging ability on him, a 20+20% MR debuff on him, allowing both of you and your allies to kill him.Don't frget it also give a small amount of power, wich is also good for both your heal and damage. If you see you are unable to place your 2 damaging ability on him, you can try Obsidian Shard, it'll allow you (and you only, sadly) to penetrate 33% of the enemy MR, and it'll also give you a great amount of power.

Here come the additional damage items ! Soul Reaver will make your damaging ability do a bonus 15% of the target max health as damage (only occur once every 60 seconds). The cooldown is very long, but the damage it does on a tank are huge, because it'll make your Love Birds or Back Off! do AT LEAST 15% of his health as damage.

The Polynomicon, him, will make your next basic attack (after casting an ability) make additional damage equal to 50% of your magical power (can occur every 4 sec.). It also give you a lot of lifesteal, which will just make your Love Birds more powerfull on you.

Obsidian Shard is a relatively good item if the ennemies are really tanky (exemple : MR guardian with a MR warrior), it'll ignore 33% of their MR. If you combine it with Spear of the Magus, you can ignore up to 53% of their MR. But if you and your team mate play well enough, you won't really need it.

The Gem of Isolation is an item that will suit your Love Birds, transforming this ability into a Heal/Damaging/slowing ability. With that, and the fact your Love Birds do damage over time, enemies will have real hard time to flee , and chasing them would be a lot more easy

Active choice

Active choice for mage:

Girdle of Inner Power is a good temporary boost that'll help you to secure a kill, to harrass, but also HEAL ! How ? it boost your magical power, so your Love Birds heal will be affected ! In fact, this item mean a better substain for you and your allies ( more your soulmate, because he is the one who will benefit from the lover's heal), and also greater damage.

Greater Purification is simply an emergency ultimate with Aphrodite. Why ? most of the time, you'll use your Undying Love to Escape from enemies's ultimates. With all your CDR, and if you play so, you'll always have your ultimate ready at the same time than their. BUT, sometimes, enemies are not synchronized to do their ultimate (it's a strategy for some gods), that would mean you could flee a Zeus's ultimate with your soulmate, and then fall into a Hades's ultimate. Since your invulnerability isn't very long at low levels, you'll occasionaly need Greater Purification to save your life. (it's also a great active in general)

Aegis Pendant is the second emergency ultimate. It'll allow you to flee from damage, but watch out, you're not CC immune ! Combined with Greater Purification, it'd really be, a second ultimate (except it won't affect your soulmate)

Heavenly Agility is a support active, yes, BUT! if you can consider Aphrodite as a mage, then why can't you consider it as a mage pick ? Most of your gameplay in mid/late game will be based on team fight, so[/color] Heavenly Agility will help you a lot ! And in early game, you can still benefit from the slight move speed boost it'll give you. It's definitly a good choice for a mage Aphrodite. With any Support god in Smite, you can consider this active as a Core.

Active choice for support

Here are two support offensive choice. If there's a healer in the enemy team ( a rather strong healer like Hel or another Aphrodite, prefer the Weakening Curse, it'll prevent any enemy healing and slow all the enemies in the radius. But if there's no heal possible in the enemy team, go and take the Enfeebling Curse, it has the same effect, except that it don't prevent healing, but it slow attack speed , wich is important to ADC or Assassin.

Heavenly Agility Will allow your whole team/group to retreat/chase and will also boost the effect off your healing by 25%. But watch out ! don't forget that the enemy tank will perhaps buy a Weakening Curse to counter your healing, so don't use it while this debuff has been activated

Girdle of Support will give your team a bonus of 20% in power( both physical and magical). This power will help you to heal, and help your team mate to kill the enemies. not much more to say about that

Spiked Shell will temporary play the role of a Hide of the Nemean Lion, but on your whole team/group. It will increase your physical protection, but also return a small amount of the damage to the enemy , wich are pretty high for ADC or Assassin

Skills

loving embraceloving embraceloving embraceLoving Embraceloving embraceloving embraceloving embrace

Loving embrace will grant 30% of your MP5 to your soulmate (reminder: your soulmate is the ally you kissed, and with wich you've created the nice little pink link, so adorable )
MY THOUGHTS

Kiss

You send a Kiss in a line in front of you wich will either hit an ally or an enemy. If it it an ally, he will become your soulmate and benefit from a move speed buff. If it's an enemy, he will be stunned. Note: if it hit an enemy while you have a Soulmate, your soulmate will do more damage
MY THOUGHTS

Back off!

Aphrodite blast everything around her, pushing back and damaging any enemies in the radius of the explosion. If she has a soulmate, an explosion will also...explode...around him and slow and damage any enemies in the radius of his explosion.
MY THOUGHTS

Love birds

In a large line in front of you, you unleash the most appocaliptic creatures ever....littles whites birds ! They does a good amount of damage per tick, and heal you when casted ( no matter if you hit or not a enemy).
MY THOUGHTS

Undying love

Using this ability make you and your soulmate immune to any source of damage and CC for a short duration
MY THOUGHTS

How to Aphrodite ?

Aphrodite poke combo

Explanation

Body blocking combo
Explanation

To resume a lot, Aphrodite is all about securing kill by keeping your ally alive, an pushing the enemy back where they can be damaged. But watch out ! Sometimes, it's better to let one of your ally die instead of using your ultimate on him : If his low health, has no escape, and is too far from your phoenix/turret , it'd be a waste of time and mana. Focus on your second ally ! He would need help when the first one will be dead. But there are lot's of other little tips you need to know if you don't want to lose a kill/assist :

1. Never ever use Back Off! when you chase an enemy :

Since you're never sure at 100% you'll kill him, don't use this ability. If the enemy is running for his life, back off will just give him the chance to run under is turret/phoenix faster, by pushing him in his "home" direction.

2. Chain kiss :

Remember that Kiss have NO cooldown when used on an ally. If you have no soulmate, and you need to engage, kiss an ally, and THEN ONLY an enemy. This way, you'll be able to Stun an enemy AND to have a soulmate to benefit from the move speed bonus.

3. Know your lover :

Be aware of who you kiss! Because if you don't want the link between you and your soulmate to break, you'll need to follow him. So prepare yourself to follow god like Fenrir , Nemesis , Janus , etc... that'll literally jump/dash/teleport everywhere !

4. The choice is yours! almost.... :

Kiss is a unique ability that only a god like Aphrodite could have ! It'll allow you to make splendid match-up and so, win a lot of games !...Well....yes and no. You need to FEEL who you kiss, and THINK about it. It's useless to kiss your tank for in the beginning of a fight if he his full life for example. Focus on kissing ADC, Mage and Assassins : They have low health, and are most likely the god that'll be killed first. If you can keep them alive longuer, your team will do more damage, wich are very important. Then, from time to times, kiss your tank for a few seconds, to heal him by using Love Birds, once he got the heal, Kiss back your ADC/Asassin/Mage (If you are the support of the team , kiss in priority the ADC).

My ultimate does no damage ? So do your !

Thanatos

Using your ultimate at the exact moment when Thanatos land will just cancel all the damage he would have done, but also the "one-shot" effect. It's not very usefull at the beginning, because in the first level, the threshold of his ultimate is really low (20% of your max health), wich meant tha if you can't instantly heal your ally with your Love Birds, or if you can't instantly kill Thanatos when he land, he will mostly kill you (or your soul mate, depending on who you try to save with your ultimate) with melee attack right after his Hovering Death

Ares

Using it right before Ares pull back his chain from No Escape will cancel the effect on you and your soulmate. You won't be pulled toward Ares, and you won't be stunned

Hades

Activating Undying Love will simply allow you and your soulmate to walk way from the damage zone, leaving hades doing the toilet flush of death alone....poor Hades

Pretty much every god's ultimate

Ao Kuang, Ra, Ymir, ALL the damage and CC can be cancelled ! Feel free to tease them so they'll use it for nothing ! That will leave you more chance in gank.

The End ? Conclusion then !

Aphrodite, is one of the strongest healer in the game, but have only few way to damage enemy. In teamfight, she is the queen, and in solo she stay alive most of the time. Most of time, some people say "lol, OP god you noob, l2p a normal one !" . Never forget that there isn't any OP god, only OP player, it's how you play it that will define if the god is good for you to play, or not. Person who rely only on how good is the god, aren't playing like they should.
Anyway guys, feel free to comment under this build ( even for doing bad joke ! ) I'll try to update if you told me interesting stuff ;).

See you in game !

P.S.: For more information, search "IceBerserk" in Smite, and have a nice day !

Overall the guide is amazing, and I upvoted it! I found a few grammatical errors, "using it before Ares pull back his chain" and "And finally, your loe birds is your only real way to make damage at a safe range." when using punctuation, such as a !,?, or , you don't put a space between it and the word before. I'm guessing English isn't your first language (you say your not American in your bio, also you say your a bird...) try asking someone to edit your guide (but not me I hate editing).

Getting Shoes of the Magi in combination with Breastplate of Valor is a bad idea. The penetration won't be much of use if you don't have much power. I'd recommend giving a clear choice between Breastplate of Valor and Chronos' Pendant, and mention that only if you go for a Mage build, then the penetration shoes in conjunction with Chronos' Pendant is your ultimate choice.

Stay away from Stone of Gaia with Aphprodite. She has enough sustain. Stick to Bulwark of Hope or perhaps Pestilence. And even so, Void Stone is the best magical defense item for her. It should be your default choice for magical protection, and the other items for when you are behind, like you mentioned.

heavnly agility is a core active on almost all healers, and for Aphrodite, it's a must.

Items explanations are okay. They are a bit long and repetative, but other than that, you explain very well the choices between them.

Skill section is as it should be. Nothing much to say. Though, the skill section is a bit lacking. Rather than explaining what the skill actually does, which most readers know by already playing her once or reading the skill description by mousing over the skill's icon, you should put more emphasis on the actual uses of those skills. When to use which skill, how to use, when not to.

For example, explaining how you shouldn't use Back Off! while you are linked to an ally that is chasing an enemy is vital, so that you won't assist them in getting away.

Another example would be that if you have an ally that you need to save, straight up kissing the enemy to stun them would put Kiss on cooldown, where as kissing your ally before, then stunning the enemy and then casting your birds will stop and damage the enemy while healing your ally and granting them movement speed.

Also, in the poke combo, you should put Back Off! at the end of it instead of loving embrace. You have another damaging skill which also helps you disengage, what else can you ask for poke? it's better than auto attacks.

Gameplay and teamfight is a bit lacking. In 3v3, there are constant fights. Who is the ideal soul mate, when to heal, when should you use birds to heal and when to damage, things like that. As you said yourself, Aphrodite is a support character who relies on allies. Her teamfights are her greatest aspect.

The guide itself looks nice. Good BBCoding, though there are quite some grammar and spelling mistakes. I would like to mention that in SMITE "resistance" is more often referred to as "protection", or "defense", but it's just a quality of life kinda thing.

Also, in the Advantages / Drawbacks section, you could try and make it a little bit more clean. Just writing general strengths / weakness, like "High Sustain", or "Long Cooldowns", would make it much more easy to understand and visually more stimulating. In the spoiler you could expand a lot.

Oh, and there are way too many colors in the Active section. It hurts my eyes.

Overall, I can't vote for this guide. It is incomplete, but has potential. I'll wait for you to expand it and improve and then decide.

Now that the build won't change anymore in content for at least 1 week or two, i'll imptove the bbcoding to make it more smooth and easy to read. So don't mind giving your opinion about that as well (Power is your !)

You have Chronos' Pendant in both of your full example builds, far before Rod of Tahuti (which is even a core item), but list it as neither a core nor situational item, so people may not know when to build it. I'd suggest adding that in somewhere.

You can level Love Birds both level 1 and 2, but since this is a 3v3 joust I'll let it slide since you start at level 3. Just know in the future, if you go into conquest, you can't level the same ability at 1 and 2.

As a support-ish type, don't get Greater Sprint, get Heavenly Agility. I know you list it in alternatives, but I'd consider it a core, as a healing god.

Since you only have Soul Reaver against a non MR team, let's do a bit of logic here. The only teams that build MR are ones with tankier fellas - more than just a mage with voistone, but seriously tanky teams. That means the only ones you wouldn't build Obsidian Shard on, and Soul Reaver in its place, are teams without bruisers or tanks. This means they are building damage and not health, so its passive effect is less impressive. In its stead, I'd suggest Gem of Isolation. Your Love Birds keep the passive rolling, it gives nice tankiness while a solid amount of magic power. You can obviously keep Soul Reaver as an alternative, as you already have, but I'd heavily suggest that you suggest Gem of Isolation.

As for the rest of your guide, you have solid reasoning. The grammar and spelling are average but you get your point across without too much trouble. I'd add more in about exactly how to teamfight - as a 3v3, there's very often skirmishes. Sometimes it takes more than just knowing what abilities do what - when should you be kissing your teams bruiser/guardian so you can follow up on his engage, vs kissing your assassin/mage/hunter so you can ult and keep them alive? It's things like that people REALLY need to know to be successful. So a section on that would help.

Also, I'd give a brief rundown of how to 3v3 Joust, since this is a guide solely for that. Mostly, what do you do when you've pushed them to tower or phoenix but they have waveclear. This can make a 10 minute game into a 30/35 minute game.

Nonetheless, good guide, and definitely deserves any upvotes it gets. Kudos!

I've seen your comment, and thanks for your advice. I'll just update it to be a bit less "messy", and also to have a section dedicated to Support Aphrodite

well first of all I don't play Aphro a lot. still some things I miss is gameplay.
On teamwork you could be more specific on what do you need to do stay back focus on doing damage focus on healing etc.

From the title I get this is a joust build. as you already said you can go support or mage (solo lane) aphro. this already results into 2 different builds (a lot of time under 2 building tabs) one with the support one with the mage build. Why because both can ave a different skill order (love birds is in both always prio and the the other goes for a more 4-3-1-2 prio (support) and the other with A 3-2-1-4 prio (more mage). Also because it joust you have two ways of things playing out what depends your role as aphro. 1 of the others will always be a hunter or assassin for the adc. and then you have the other player being or a gaurdian or warrior defensive (in this case you need to do more damage) or a mage and a warrior offensive (in this case your thew support).

now the build. as I already stated I haven't played aphro a lot but I can say soem things about it. also take the point about 2 completely different ones in account so both look more clean. well let's start.

First your starter and actives.
Shoes and Rod of Healing is a pretty nice start with some pots but then meditation as active. Picking actives requires thinking ahead. You are a mage and what I have seen from mages is that their mana would only drain quickly in early game. but in mid-late game their MP5 is high enough too keep their mana high rendering a med useless. remember you don't need too clear the wave alone (most of the time) both your adc and gaurdian/warrior/mage are helping so you won't need to spam your Love Birds unless your going too push or you are getting more outpushed. So you won't need to use med in early game this way.

In the actives tab I see some actives that depends on what you are support or mage. and still I miss some (really rare in use) actives that can be devastating. Also as aphro you need to watch out for a Weakening Curse (one active that works always nice against healers you forgot).

well you got the term core a bit wrong. this has 1 thing of the part of the support and mage in both different tabs. and the other are from the first back section. The core is mostly 3 items (the core by this god is Shoes of Focus, Rod of Asclepius and (off course) Rod of Tahuti) all the other items are situational.

because CDR being important on aphro you will always make the item after shoes and rod another cdr item. this depends on the other team. has the team 2 phys then Breastplate of Valor has the team 2 magical then Chronos' Pendant.

the other 2 items depends on what am I playing support or mage. well I will start with the support items, because I don't know much of being mage aphro.

well because you already build shoes and rod and your cdr item you now get too choose 1-2 other items before your going too finish rod. this also depends on the other team mostly you will take hide of urchin when you have a mixed team because it gives a lot of protections and the 5 item being Sovereignty for the aura and when you have taken pendant. Otherwise it would be Bulwark of Hope (or Stone of Gaia if you want more health regen but you already got the heal) when you took breastplate as cdr.
Unless you have a full phys or full magical team then both items will be defense against the kind of team it is.

As mage you will pick a pen item and the other being or lifesteal or something else.
As Pen I would recommend taking Spear of the Magus because of your Love Birds doing DoT (if I'm right) this will allow you too stack it when you hit Love Birds.
The other item would be poly or Soul Reaver depending the way you want to do additional damage.

(still I think support aphro works out a bit better)

about skills if I'm right when you hit Kiss on an enemy god your soul mate will do additional damage too any god for the duration.

the bbcoding is fine (could always be improvement but it's good enough. (it isn't super important but I find the icons and double brackets, something that must be in it too make it understandable for other instead of searching the database for the item someone mentioned etc.)

Hope you can do something with this. It looks great and is pretty good but the build section is a bit messy what leaves for a no vote from me. 0
