Passive - Howling Celestial Dog
Howling Celestial Dog simply provides extra damage on every hit you do with your basics. If you hit anything you dog hit it as well with 15% of your AA attack. If the attack is against another champion or minions your dog also applies a damage based on the target HP (1%). Everything is applied as AD (Physical damage). Overall, it's a great passive that help damage all kinda of enemies in general.


1 - Spot Weakness
This skill will increase the damage you do per AA while activated. You will listen a different sound per basic attack when this is activated. If this skill is on Cooldown, every AA you land reduces de CD by 1 sec. Very useful to help clear the wave/damage the enemy champion. This extra damage doesn't apply on structures. 2nd priority on your list.


2 - Pin
Pin is your second CC when attacking a target. This skill basically damages and if you hit the center you root your enemy for a reasonable time. You can use to stop an enemy trying to moving away so you can get closer to cast a combo or you can use your 72 Transformations ES to approach the target and then root him with this skill. Your last priority since its CC don't scale and your other abilities apply more damage.


3 - 72 Transformations ES
You can choose between a mink for and a turtle form with this skill. If Mink, your AS is increased and you apply more damage on hit but stops on the first god hit. You also are faster in this form. If you choose Turtle, you gain a shield and knockup enemies you pass through doing less damage than Mink. My tip is you choose mink if far from the target/clear the wave and if close turtle for the knockup (and then cancel the abillity). You may also choose Mink and cancel the ability to have a higher DPS vs any kinda objectives.


4 - 9 Turns Blessing
9 Turns Blessing heals you after a short duration and can also be used to force enemies turn and fight with you and not run. You may also use this when you see a burst damage incoming since you gain a nice mitigation.

The most simple combo to use to clear the wave or attack the enemy. You usually will choose Mink to clear the wave and turtle to hit the enemy because you knock him up and get like 1 or 2 free hits until he reaches the ground and you also gain a shield to help you tank him after his land. If possible, use a basic attack between your skills to maximize your damage.

Ultimate combo that "locks" the enemy with you for a reasonable time allowing you kill him, specially squishy targets. If they have Purification Beads you probably will force with this combo (sometimes, with half of it). Don't forget to cast some basics (a least one) between your skills to maximize your damage.

Your classic combo without using your ulti. Can be used just like and for the same proposes as the last one.

Warrior's Blessing will be mainly you first item. It reduces the minions damage on you allowing you hit the enemy god without die. It also offers protections and health/mana restored which is good for your sustain.

Erlang Shen is a champion based on AA (Auto-Attacks) which means you will need more AD and Attack speed to maximize his potential. This item offers armor, power and attack speed allied with a passive that heals your mana and hp when you hit any enemy with your AAs including minions.

Gives you some pen to hurt your enemies allied with armor and HP and some power to land more powerful AA.

Gives you even more power, some magical resistance and HP with a passive that lower the enemy AP around you by 50. The stats are very good for its price even though the aura isn't that good at mid game.

It's a fun item that provides both magical resistance and armor with some CDR. It helps a lot have your kit only often, although you are an AD Champion, you kit setups the enemy very well to land you AA so why not have your kit online more often?

Then you will sell your blessing to get this item that will increase all allies attack speed nearby (including you) while offers some nice stats to counter specially the enemy mid.

Finishing your build, berserk will be almost useless right now so sell it and buy Nemean to get a giant amount of armor and reflect basics on any AD champion.

For last, you will sell your boots when you get exactly 3k gold so you can buy the Elixir of Speed and Stone Cutting Sword that will make you AA hurt a lot decreasing for your entire team the enemy armor and increasing yours to tank a bit more.


With this build you probably will be Tank and still able to bully any champion in the enemy team.
You may choose another item depending of the match you are playing, I listed other options that can be good too.

This items are meant to be used whenever you want more power and want to hit hard enemies.

Magical defense useful to get a shield when you are dying so you can stay a bit more or retreat without die. It also helps against CCs because it has CCR that reduces the time of some CCs like stuns.

Hide of the Urchin is one of the best items to tank enemy damage because it provides high defenses (both protections), HP and mana and a Shield. You just have to build it like 4th item to get the stacks and unlock all it's potential.

If you are taking too much CCs, this probably is the best way to stay alive after them providing a good amount of mitigation after the CC. You may also combine with Magi's Cloak to completely absorb a Hard CC if you have multiple CCs being a trouble to you.

If some CC is stopping you/your combo, you should consider build this item to fully absorb it. Remember that it only absorbs hard CCs. Soft CCs like Slow, Cripple... doesn't count (apply to roots).

High defenses for both sides and some CDR to help you cast more skills. The passive is useful to stop enemy combos and help you stay alive in hotter situations breaking CC chains. But of course it has a high price for what it offers so I recommend you build it a bit later. You also won't proc its passive every time if you get it at late game.

If you are among the enemies frequently this is the item for you. You gain mitigation, that is the most powerful defensive stat, whenever you are surrounded by enemies. It also has nice stats in general and reasonable to low price. Can't see any reason to not pick it unless if you are fighting against only 1 enemy per fight.

Useful if you are facing multiple healing in the enemy team. If your enemy in lane is AD like warriors, assassins and hunters, then build Contagion. If you enemy is AP like mages and guardians then build Pestilence. Both items offer nice stats but I slightly consider Contagion better due all the stats it provides.

Nice option that slows your enemies and reduce their AS if they hit you. Can be a very good option against ADCs and AD champions in general that tend to fightback with AAs when you engage on them.

Nice option that silences enemies around you whenever they hit a magical skill on you. You can counter skills like Anubis 1 with item. It also offers power to help with your DPS while also providing defenses and a bit of CDR.

Provides a nice movement speed to help you chase down your targets allied with a good amount of power with also HP and a passive that increase your protections when you most need it, when you are surrounded by enemies. Can be a general good late game item. Avoid build it too early because you are not jumping in teamfights until mid/late game.

This item will not let you say "out of mana" anymore while also providing a giant HP pool and some decent amount of power, mana and when you are not needing mana it provides CDR. Everything for only 2200 gold totally worth in my opinion and whenever you need HP and/or mana get this item.

This item allow you hit like a truck on your engages due the giant amount of power it provides. Very useful you are ahead and want/ is in need of blow your enemy quickly. If you start to die, then the passive helps providing you some extra protections.

This item apply an AS reduction and slow on every AA you hit on the enemy. Useful whenever you have multiple AD champions on the other team. You can also stack this with midgardian and make even harder to your enemy fightback, just build this item after you already got some attack speed to make it efficient.

Can be as useful as the Berserker shield if you are not able to hit enemies with multiple basic attacks, so you can heal yourself with your abilities. You may also combine both and get an insane healing but you probably will face multiples anti-heals.

Providing good HP pool with movement speed and CDR this item can make your spells comeback much quicker. If you have 2 nice relics then this item can be a decent option. I don't recommend you build it if you got teleport relic, but if get something like Shell and Blink, then consider it.

This item provides nice attack speed, movement speed and HP with flat pen being the most recommended item if you want to stop any kind of lifesteal of healing on the other team.

With nice stats for you, this item is another decent option to counter enemy ADC or AD champions and you can combine with the other options already shown to create a nasty build where no ADC can fightback.

Alternatively to Toxic Blade you can get this item to stop enemy healing or you can combine both to really not let them heal.

When at early game I suggest you wait until you have cleared your lane before start to fight with the enemy. Minions hit too hard in this game so avoid focus "your" enemy champion while there are minions around. Try to hit the totem every time you can (the "piece?" on the left from order/right from caos) of your lane. It is very important because it allows you to cast unlimited skills without see yourself out of mana. Sometimes the jungle will not be able farm your blue so do it by yourself. For last, try to be aggressive and get an advantage, few matchups can beat Erlang at early/mid game.

Try focus kill your enemy and ward to know if the enemy jungler is coming to gank you. Push the tower so you can go rotate. If you can, invade enemy buffs and jg but be careful to not get caught and die. Rotate to mid when you see that there's no risk on your lane. Help with nearby objectives like pyro of Fire, even Gold if possible.

Group up with team. Try to engage fights for your team and tank some objectives to your team if needed. Protect your carries such as the mid and/or ADC if the enemy try to focus him, remember that THEY ARE THE DAMAGE, THEY CARRY GAMES not you, although you have some damage and can hurt people you can't carry a game alone as solo so try your best to help your team.
