Joust is usually built more or less the same as Arena, except you can afford to have one person stack.
That person should be the adc (or mage if you don't have an adc). If you have an arena build, just replace the stacking items with non-stacking versions. For a specific build; Shoes of Focus, Stone of Binding, Breastplate of Valor, Bulwark of Hope, Stone of Gaia, and lastly Mantle of Discord should work, but if they don't have knockups, replace Gaia with balanced protections or CDR.

You can use my Sobek build in joust. Similar to what Techno already said, but auras are also a good thing to have.

Huh...I actually like that idea of using Stone of Binding, Tech.

As an additional consideration to Tech's or Bernardo's builds, here are some things to think about when deciding on items. Consider first that Sobek is not a standard "Support" guardian. He's got pretty decent base damage, an aggressive kit, and his early game is better than his late game. As such, you want to try to take advantage of that.

Building bruiser or tanky can be tricky. When you pick protection items, you want to try to balance protections with added health (just protections and no health isn't as good), so items that have both are nice...things like Hide of the Urchin, Sovereignty, Heartward Amulet, Gauntlet of Thebes, Bulwark of Hope, etc.

For bruisers, you also want to fit in penetration when possible...flat pen (e.g. an early Dynasty Plate Helm or protection reduction via Void Stone) is great when built early, and is excellent for some guardians, who have pretty solid base damage. Their low cost is also helpful.

Aura items, like Bernardo mentioned, are nice...but in Joust, it also depends on enemy comp. If you're facing an enemy guardian + hunter + assassin, the main damage is likely to come from the hunter and assassin, so Sovereignty would be a good choice, but probably not Heartward Amulet. So when you do pick up aura items, you want to choose wisely.

1 v 1 joust?? I am assuming from the laughing it is an inside joke?
