I'm Back again!

So I havent been on SF in a long time now, just got back from a 2 week vacation at my parents etc. last Sunday.

Yesterday I finished all my qualifiers for ranked. Went 6/4 this split (9/1 last split) and last split I had to play all the way from Silver 2 and up to gold 1 in the end with a 62% win rate.

And guess what?! Im back in Silver 2 PogChamp!!!!
I am soon to be promoted though and hopefully I will be able to skip a few ranks this time.


I also made a new friend along the way:
I 1v1 this guy as ADC, I was 1 hit and he was 3 hits I juked his AAs and killed him (EzPz ofc., didn't even break a sweat even. JK my ADC is ****ing terrible). So he started to PM me in game and after the game (that we lost), while in DND so I could not reply back (HiRez fix this plz). My team didn't manage to counter a 4 physical comp (I even went Ichaival...).
So I queued again. This time I got jungle and got to play some NeZha PogChamp.
Camazotz is my new friend btw (he has his profile hidden ofc.).

Bran's Random Recordings - Welcome DV-8 (Conquest)

This was a fun night...Zilby came back to play with us for a bit. In addition, we welcomed 2 SF members to the clan...Carve (boogiebass) and Vocoder (DV-8). After some earlier games (a couple of failed Custom matches and a solid Corrupted Arena match), Carve went to play with his friend, so we got into a Conquest match (unusual for us these days).

Our roster:
After what felt (to me) like a slightly rough first 5 minutes (at around 4:20, the fun started, with Taco rotating to our lane but 2 of theirs rotating in also), things started looking up for us.

I still find myself wandering without purpose too much, and not dropping enough wards. Will probably continue to happen unless I play Conquest more. Oh well.

Return of Refraction Beta

Hello there again, it's me; your friendly neighborhood Zilby

So if you've been around Smitefire for some time then you might remember this blog from awhile back.
But if you don't remember here's the gist:
  • I'm a game developer / programmer currently in college.
  • I'm making a game called Refraction in my free time, it's a top down arena battle game built in the game engine Unity using C#.
  • I need playtesters again!

So last time I did this you guys gave a TON of great feedback, a lot of which has been incorporated into the game at this point. Since then there's been a lot of progress made on the game and overall it's much more polished. Some new features added since last time:
  • 10 new levels!
  • New enemy types! (+ miniboss!)
  • 28 achievements to unlock!
  • Rewards (ie: player skins and songs)!
  • Balancing! (Eg: sword got buffed, hit detection is better, certain enemies nerfed)
  • Checkpoint system for harder difficulties!

So you've been wondering when I vanished to for the past couple months. So let me talk about my status. So I finally started my last year of High-school earlier this week. I hit my 2 year anniversary with SMITE on July 30th, yes I know it's really late but I still want to mention it. So this year is going to be important for me due to creeping slowly to College that I already decided what college I want to go to. So this year is going to be hiatus due to School and preparing for College. But still expect me to be on this site I will still comment and drop in from time to time. Probably work on guides as well from time to time, but utter mostly my activity on site for around a year is going to decline. But when College comes around expect me on this site more frequently. It just determines when I begin and how many classes and how much work am I going to bring in my first semester. Artio Guide & Xbox Club

Hello Everyone,

I have started working on an in-depth Artio Guide. The guide will centered around Joust, but I feel the build, and content will be viable for any game-mode, with maybe the exception of Assault.

Anyways, It's not going to be out until maybe Patch 4.16 or 4.17, just because I kind of want all the dust to settle with Artio, and see how the incoming balancing will impact her build and what not. It'll pretty much be the same format as all of my guides if you've ever seen them... Anubis (archived), and Nemesis.

I am very excited to be back on SmiteFire full force. Artio has in a sense revived my love for Smite. I just hit the first Mastery with her lastnight and my KDA up to that point is 63/33/149. Here's my recent games if you wanted to check them out!

On a final note, I created a club on Xbox One for any SMiteFire users who'd like to join it. It's called Smite Fire XB1!

Changing my Format, Working Smarter Not Harder

Since I've been busy with going to work as well as getting ready for college, I barely have any time anymore to make lengthy guides. So I thought of an idea to keep my guides more frequent in the updates but without all the hassle. So from this point on, I will be removing builds as there are many possibilities to build up a god but also because since balancing forces me to work from square one again. With the item section, I'll give a description on how a god should be built (auto-attack, bulky, ect.) with an example build for visual.
Is this lazy on my part, might be, but I want to make guides for my favorite gods and finish my warrior series without having take too long working on one guide then having to stop to update another.
If this is going to be a problem and forces my work to no longer be called "guides" then I'll go back to standard.

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
