E3 2017 - Screw the Public

Did my annual E3 visit yesterday...my standard protocol from the past few years has been to meet up with friends, drive to LA Convention Center, spend the day at E3, go to EightyTwo for drinks and retro gaming, then drive home exhausted.

Honestly, E3 this year was a bit of a bummer. They finally reopened the show to the (willing to pay) public, which created a significant (read: vastly annoying) influx of fresh (and not so fresh) bodies to ~~crowd the lanes~~ create a show of excitement for the industry. This turned decently common swag (not as high quality as the disgusting opulence shown at E3 in its heyday 10+ years ago) into hard-to-find, generally-lower-quality swag. Not that I'm one to go searching everywhere for the stuff...some of it's cool, but I don't really need most of it, and I don't go selling everything I get on eBay. This is my first blog post (Whatever).

Yesterday, I decided to play some Casual Conquest. Picks start, I call for Supp because I wanted to play (He is fun!), and I lock him. After that, Xbal calls for ADC and locks him, and KKK calls mid and locks. Everything was fine, until...

A wild appeared outta nowhere without calling her role. I was trying to guess whether she was going to feed in solo or in the jungle, when Tick-Tock (the crocodile, not the clockwork man) instalocked him for whatever reason.

Match starts. I bought Watcher's and Lono's as usual, but then I realized Sobek and Arty went to duo and Xbal to solo. So yeah, I was playing Jungle Ganesha, and I thought about writing this blog to rant about XB1 MM.

HOWEVER...

So, This might be the 1832756th time i've posted this kinda blog on Smitefire, but this time it might actually mean something because of a couple reasons:

1) I actually enjoy Smite. The reason why i couldn't enjoy it before was actually an aesthetic reason, cause I did some stuff a reddit thread told me to, which did make my fps better but it ****ed up my graphics, and I really couldn't enjoy the game after that for some reason.

2) I am completely free! after an incredibly tiring year at uni (Jesus ****ing christ) in which i had to manage tons of tasks and 2 jobs while still trying to maintain a social life, i have 2 free months. that's right. I only have a fast-food job to maintain which is actually pretty easy cause apparently people from my city are not fans of mcdonald's, lol.

So now that i've established that, I'm just gonna summarize what I did during that time:

Hiya there. So....

I'm a lurker.

It's summertime, my school ended half a month ago. Even before summer, I lurked hardcore. Like, once or twice A MONTH. So, right now, I'm in Dakar, Senegal. On the way here, I lost my mouse on the plane.

After countless tries, I am playing with my PS3 controller. And yes, I am at the hugest disadvantage. I can not even describe to you how slow max sensitivity is with this thing.

Basically, I am in another country 7 hours ahead with trash WiFi and a controller instead of a mouse. Good luck contacting me.

So today was the final day of school for me for 9 weeks. So that means I'm able to game for a quite bit of time for the next 9 weeks. I'm such a good Veteran that I lost my password and couldn't reset it for some reason. Therefore I couldn't access my account till I saw there was a "Social Media Login" so I used my G+ Account. yay.

So what have I been up to ? Studying, studying, and studying. Lsat time I booted up a game AND ACTUALLY PLAYED IT was like a month ago. So many tests and essays to hand in. I also am LOVING LOVING LOVING AND LOVING Halsey's Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Looking foward to Witness, out on friday.

Holy **** guys so I have had a hard time finding a warrior that I like enough to even try to play more then one game with I love herc but I am so bad with him its a little sad :3.

BUT then last night a holy light shined down by the way of a miss pick I ran to the bathroom waiting for my follow teammates to pick there gods just had to do a #1 no big deal so I ran back to my tv with ten seconds left on the clock so I quickly scan down to R named gods and grab my boy RAtataskor....only when the loading screen came up it was Ravana. Needless to say I was sad o great a god I have never played time to look like a total a#$hat. so we ran up to grab damage buff in joust and of course had a conflict are Ra dead there Da ja and Rama jumped him like he owed them money me and yamir held them off for a bit then he died so now its me against three gods about half HP I grabed the damage buff yamir died to secure for me and holy **** ravana went APE S$%T my one dropped there GEB then Da ja teleported…
