Drops off late game

Skills

Passive: Undefeated Body

When Sun Wukong is below 40% health, he gains +10 physical power and +10 protections, plus another 1 physical power and 1 protection for his current level.

This passive is now better than what it was before hand since the added power and protections allows SWK (The abbreviation of the god) to trade more reliably when at low health.

Ability 1: The Magic Cudgel

Sun Wukong's Magic Cudgel grows in length, and he slams it down, damaging all enemies in front of him. Minions and Jungle Camps take an extra +25% damage.

Ability Type: Line
Damage: 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+50% of your physical power)
Range: 55
Cost: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90
Cooldown: 10s

This little ability will be your calling card when dealing damage and clearing camps and poking people. It's range and width of the ability makes it one of the easiest abilities to hit. The 25% extra damage allows SWK to even go as far as to being a Jungler and a Support.

Ability 2: Master's Will

Sun Wukong strikes around him, damaging and slowing all enemies.

Ability Type: Area
Damage: 90 / 140 / 190 / 240 / 290 (+50% of your physical power)
Slow: 30%
Slow Duration: 2s
Cost: 60
Cooldown: 10s

Whilst this ability doesn't get all the appreciation it deserves, it's really useful for making sure you can land a few more auto-attacks against your enemy for the 30% slow it offers. Quick tip, when clearing wave, walk inbetween the melees and archers before using it and try and time it so that you can hit all 6.

Ability 3: 72 Transformations

Sun Wukong transforms into an Eagle, Tiger, or Ox, and charges forward. Eagle: Is the fastest of the three forms. Immune to Slow and Root effects. Tiger: Mauls the first enemy runs into, stunning and causing damage. Ox: Knocks aside all enemies in his path and causes damage. Immune to Slow, Root, and Knockup effects.

Ability Type: Dash
Tiger Damage: 100 / 170 / 240 / 310 / 380 (+80% of your physical power)
Tiger Stun: 1.0 / 1.1 / 1.2 / 1.3 / 1.4s
Ox Damage: 50 / 90 / 130 / 170 / 210 (+60% of your physical power)
Cost: 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 / 85
Cooldown: 18 / 17 / 16 / 15 / 14s

The signature move for SWK, depending on how far away from yourself you aim depends on what ability you'll get. Don't underestimate any of them and make sure to use them effectively. In a teamfight? Use the Ox. 1v1? Use the Tiger. Escaping/Needing to move around? The Eagle is for you. Just learn how each of them works and use them effectively.

Ultimate: Somersault Cloud

Sun Wukong leaps onto his cloud, leaving a decoy behind to fight. While on the cloud Sun Wukong is invisible, and regenerates health. He may leap off before the duration expires, dealing damage. The decoy inherits a percentage of Sun Wukong's current strength and defense. The decoy is killed instantly if hit by a hard Crowd Control excluding Banishes and Knockbacks. If the decoy dies, Sun Wukong is revealed on his cloud.

Ability Type: Leap
Damage: 200 / 250 / 300 / 350 / 400 (120% of your physical power)
Healing: 5% per second
Radius: 20
Cost: 100
Cooldown: 110 / 105 / 100 / 95 / 90s

One of probably the coolest looking ultimates in my eyes, this one allows you to leave a decoy and heal up to a quarter of your health only for you to drop down and deal the pain. Of course if you cancel this early you can fight alongside your decoy and own that son of a gun.

Items

The key boots to give you that head start in power. Whilst possible, I highly not recommend to use Ninja Tabi as the extra 20 power is very crucial.
Oh my lord. Breastplate got some loving in season 4 didn't it just? MP5, mana, cooldown and physical protections. Add a blue buff on top of that and you ain't ever gonna run out of mana. This is a must have for solo laners.
Maxing out your CDR as SWK is rather nice to get along with and can easily be a great benefit. Not to mention early pen and more mana whilst giving a good chunk of power. Just be careful around Magical users until you gain magic protection
I tend to pick this item up as it just makes SWK unkillable late game with full stacks and so long as you're able to be around for assists or managing to end your solo laners life then I'd recommend picking this up. If you can't then a good switch out is Mystical Mail
For countering any Mage/Guardian, this can be a vital pickup allowing you a shield just as your passive comes into effect. Make great use of this and the CCR it gives. If you are going against a Magical solo then swap Breastplate for this.
Rounding the build up is more power and great pen, allowing you to rip through defence and allow yourself to deal great damage. Not much else to say really about this as it does what it says on the tin.

Alternative Items

Now if you're planning on hitting people with your Auto-Attacks more then using this will definitely allow you to stick to them with each hit, plus it gives you a good chunk of health.
Now I know, SWK doesn't have the best AA chain around but it can still work. If you're going against tanks or even the bulky warriors this can be a great way to cut through their health.
Before any of you start raging at me, hear me out. SWK, just like any other warrior, is a bit mana hungry so stacking this as your third item can really give you a boost in Mana and Power.
DEFENCE
With season 4 rearing it's head around it changed a lot of the old items. Ancile now silences all enemies whenever you take magic damage. So long as you're going against a magical solo laner or if you're in a team fight, the 1s silence can be enough to claim a kill or at least an assist.
Considering SWK has relatively long cooldowns even with CDR, it can be nice getting 2s off after taking some form of magical damage. Once again, trade Bulwark of Hope for this.
Healers, they're quite common in solo lane ( Hel, Tyr, Ra) so when they become a hassle this can really help control them. If you're looking for more of an offensive alternative, consider Brawler's Beat Stick.
Now, magic solo laners are few and far between but a great counter to impeding their clear is using this little beauty. Not only does it reduce magic power but it grants a 20% attack speed slow.
The physical opposite too Runic Shield is this. Reducing power by 20 and pretty much giving you a nice power boost to it.
If you find Loki or someone you just can't seem to wittle down in lane, this is a great pickup. It does magical damage which can really put on the ticking damage to someone. Just note you can't effectively gank since the aura is a dead give away.

Tips & Tricks

TIP #1: SPAM, SPAM AND EVEN MORE SPAM!
With SWK, you're damage is much more poke then it is burst. Abuse it. Everytime you've got a chance to poke damage at the enemy solo laner or anyone else then go for it. Make sure you're having to make them waste Health Pots just to counter your poke.

TIP #2: TO BE THE TIGER, YOU MUST THINK LIKE A TIGER!
The tiger form of 72 Transformations is probably the one you're going be using the most in solo lane. Whilst the Ox and Eagle are more utility than anything else. One thing to be aware of is that the turning speed of the tiger is rather slow so it is very easy to juke. If you get caught out of position then make sure you right click and follow up with Master's Will to land at least some damage.

TIP #3: SNEAKY LITTLE MONKEY...
Now in all honesty, Somersault Cloud is probably more then likely going to be used for a heal or catching up to someone. But one thing I like doing is using the decoy to go into lane and just fight them as I do something else such as get blue buff or clear boars. It's pretty great for distractions aswell. Most people focus the decoy whilst you're in the cloud to try and reveal you.

Matchups

Bellona!
Ever since season 4 came along, Bellona has somewhat faltered here and there. She still can prove troublesome in lane but if you dodge her flail then you're going to be alright. A little tip is that when she's using Bludgeon you can tiger form into her to stop the slam damage which basically stops her clearing lane and prevents her from having any form of major damage.

Tyr!
Tyr has taken a few hits with the nerf hammer so his blue Power Cleave now doesn't completely heal him late game. Once again it's all about avoiding his main damage combo and making sure that you can clear lane just as fast as him. NEVER FIGHT TYR IN A HORDE OF YOUR MINIONS! That way he can and only can heal off of you and you alone.

Osiris!
Osiris is getting a buff next patch so I might be changing this again late on but for now Osiris isn't really a main issue. With him having to build Qin's Sais at least 3rd item for any damage he does to be relevant. Just don't fall into a Judgement Tether and you should be alright.

Hercules!
Holy **** is this guy broken. If you get this guy in lane then you're mostly gonna be farming under tower for the most part. His heal can practically fully heal him and make trading a pure nightmare and he can easily shove you under tower whenever he feels like it with his 2 + 1 combo. Beware of this guy.

Conclusion

SWK is in a safe spot as of late, he's not the strongest warrior but he isn't the weakest. He is high in his utility, defence and mobility but lacks damage and control. Play the poking game and you should be able to beat them to death with your cudgel.

Happy hunting,
-Sods

Oh god, thanks Bran about that. Would've never noticed it. Also, I stated in the Bulwark of Hope that if you're going against a magical to swap Breastplate for it.

Good start. I know you list some alternative items, but it might be helpful to talk about those, when to sub those, etc. For example, what if you find yourself against a magical god? Will you still get Breastplate of Valor as your 2nd item? Which would you consider to be the best replacement in this case?

Those types of things would really help complete this guide, as counter-building is important. Add just a bit more and it'll be great.

Also, minor typos/grammatical things here and there, but it's not a deal-breaker. Oh, and check Bluestone Pendant in the Cons section.

Oops, upvoting. +1 but I hope you keep adding info to this guide!
