My Next Big Project

So, one thing that has been prevalent are the huge general guides that this site fosters. This will include Bran's Oberarching Guides, the Site Help guides like how to BBCode, and the Become A Class series done by various Authors.
Two things about these types of things is that they are always kept up to date, or at least always relevant. That is, except for the las kind of general guide, the Become A Class ones. They are missing new gods, and I am not sure, but they are missing a Mage variant.
What does this have to do with me? I am interested in doing this Mage variant. I would just like to question whether or not there is a Mage variant, and to remind the authors of the already created ones to update theirs, as to stay relevant.

This just in: I'm not dead. Further news as events warrant.

Not that I'm pretending to be terribly important, I'd just like to announce my presence.

I've been lurking mostly, as Veterans tend to do. I had planned on participating in the contest this year, but the contest always brings around so many new people, and I haven't played Smite in so long, that actually doing or saying much of anything has seemed kind of daunting lately.

What I've been up to lately is (time-wise) piddling around YouTube and Reddit,

but I've also been working with a group of a few others (including Bernardozomer) on a mod for Terraria, though there isn't really enough content to warrant a release yet (which I blame on my time browsing YouTube and Reddit instead of spriting like I should be).

The contest this year has, as I mentioned, attracted a good number of people.

Its been 2 years.

So its almost been 2 years since my last post on this site, and most likely over 2 years since I last played Smite.

For those of you who don't know, I used to be pretty active in this community; Whether it was making god ideas, crafting some weird guide, or making some witty or sarcastic comment, you could find me in quite a lot of places here.

There are two main reasons why I quit the game:

1) I didn't like the direction that Hi-Rez was going. I definitely noticed that the game had started becoming more about money rather than good gameplay. It seemed like every new god was just as or more overpowered than the last.

2) The toxicity of the community. I had loved the game in beta and the first year or so after it came out officially, but the community had quickly become horrible toxic. I even watched one of my friends go from being very nice to being a horrible teammate who flamed just about everyone. ... if you're just going to ignore them? Wanted to do a quick Conquest match a little bit ago and play some Da Ji. Call Jungle, lock in Da Ji. Then last guy picks Nemesis. I was like, "Okay. He just wanted to play Nem and unfortunately was too late to get the role he wanted. No biggie." Then the match starts and first sign of trouble is Nemesis attacking at me in the fountain. THought he was just mad I called Jungle first and didn't think much of it. After we buy our items and head to our lanes, our Vulcan goes to Speed with me along with the Nemesis. Both me and Vulcan tell them to go to Duo. They don't move. I decide to be nice and not wanting to try fighting with this guy over jungle camps, I reluctantly head to Duo with Cerb. I wish I could say they did horribly, but they didn't. Wish I could say I beat the equally strange Duo comp of the enemy Ymir and Serqet, but I didn't. We ended up surrendering after like 20 minutes. Said match.

So I am back again for the hundredth time. Hopefully Smite can hold my attention for a few months this time. Feels nice to start fresh on a new season, so the possibility is there! :)

For the moment I am just chilling here on the forum, because I am totally hooked on Divinity Original Sin 2. So my gaming time is spent on that for now. Think I have started 5 characters on that game now..

Earlier I was scrolling through my Ne Zha guide just to see how much work it would be to update it and found a hidden Easter egg that I didn't know about.

Edit:

just to make sure you see it, it is Inuki on the Ymir. :P

But I don't see myself ever actually managing to update that monster. I will give it the good old college try though.

I am not sure what I want to do when I make my way back to Smite.
I probably should play some casuals before going into ranked and doing my qualifiers. The plan is to at least record all my qualifiers and make a miniseries of them. Kind of feel like just jumping strai…

Been Awhile

Yes. It is I, Stuke, and I'm not dead (yet). If you've haven't noticed, I haven't done anything on this site for a good while. That's because I just started my second semester at my four-year college three weeks ago and I'm still juggling my part-time job while "trying" to keep my stuff updated and try out the new season. I will try to get myself pulled back together and quit drinking bleach go back to making guides about the gods I care about in this game. Like before, I can't be here all the time because school is taking priority over everything else right now and the free time I do have is dedicated to other things like smite as well as getting around to shows I want to watch or re watch for the third or fourth time around (FMA:B).

Like I said, I will try my damndest to make decent guides and teach people how to play certain gods but if i don't post too often, I'm either buckled down in my school work or furiously beating off and playing vidya games to work on my stuff. Hope every…

Season 5 - Who's With Me?

So........Season 5 hit 2 days ago and I have yet to play an actual game. Been busy working on my guides and hotfixing some things.

Conquest, Arena, , , , , Daelinn's , are now updated for S5. Still need to work on , along with my Assault guide (ughhhh).

In any case, I need to actually play some games. Plan to get on tonight for a while (not sure how long) starting around 9ish PM PST.

Got my CDL back in August and haven't really had much time for Smite on the road, but now that I have a semi-normal home-time routine, ill be on here as often as possible and updating my Xing Tian guide for Season 5 as well as writing a couple new ones (I have some excellent S5 Ranked Joust builds coming up :D)
