Holy **** What Have I Missed

I am back from the grave that is Osu, Warframe, Overwatch, college, love life (named Lulu <3) and a multitude of life ****.

Not really but it has been a while. I cannot keep track, so if someone wants to do it for me be my guest, by all means. I practically gave up on Smite and focused on Osu and other games. Life was happening and I lost the will to play Smite. I lost the motivation to participate in this site. I felt like it was not worth the trouble, although that just might have been depression kicking in and I used SmiteFire as a scapegoat.

I really do not know if I will be back on SmiteFire or Smite. I do have time to though, and I honestly need a habit. This semester has no work, and until I get a job I still have a lot of free time.

And I miss being a part of this community, honestly. Even though it ended with me ****posting alot (I mean, more than usual), I still cared for the people here.

So coming back...? Maybe....?

My first Diamond!

So when I first start6ed playing way back during Raijin release, (which was Amaterasu release for me since console was still a whole patch behind then,) I looked at the diamond skins and said to myself I'd never play a god enough to get them that high. Fast forward to today and I got Izanami to diamond. Not to use a dead meme, but it fills me with a sense of pride and accomplishment. NOw I need more. Next stop, Diamond Nemesis.

S5 Conquest PTS - First Game (Discordia Mid)

First time playing on the new S5 map in PTS (night of PTS release). Can't remember the last time I played mid. Fun though, even though I suck.

Super excited. The map feels great. The map looks great. The map IS great.

Love the new minion look (even though I don't pay too much attention to them, it's still different). Love the floor look between Chaos and Order. Love the look of the buffs when they drop. Love the simpler concept of the starter items (Blessings). Love the twists and turns of the jungle. Love the fog. Makes the lane feel scarier.

Hate that I consistently forget to buy wards. Oracle is going to be my friend due to forgetfulness.

The end game Titan area (more attacking it than being on my own side) feels brand new. Titan DOES feel a bit close to the middle wall.

Going to want to play Conquest a lot more. HR, you're doing good things, and you're headed in the right direction, no matter what everyone else says about you =)

Personal(ish) Question

Hey people,

Sort of curious / looking for some feedback.

Specifically, for those of you who are regulars here, or have had discussions with me, or gotten feedback on builds / guides, do I do too much? Am I overbearing?

Sometimes I look at the "recent discussion" section and it's just filled with my comments.

If you can't tell (of course you can), I love the game and I love discussing the various aspects of items, gods, gameplay, etc. I want to drum up more conversations, but don't want to scare people away.

Anyway, thanks for honest feedback.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope everyone had a good holiday season and here's to a great year going forward. Played my first games of the year to see how things go and maybe how they'll look in the future and it looks to be about the same as it was, so yay, I guess.

Game 1: First game and went with Ravana. Not much to say here. Outplayed and I built wrong. I should've built Genji's guard instead of BoV cause that Poseidon was doing the most. Ended up surrendering. Not a morale crusher for me though.

Game 2: Pulled out my boy Agni cause I had a quest to play mages and I hadn't played him in a while. Went spectacularly. The enemy Fenrir didn't seem to know what he was doing so it was essentially a 3v2. Got lucky and got teamed with a Loki who knew what he was doing so that was a plus. Sadly never really repeated this success in the rest of my games as this was my only win.

I've been playing Guardians more since they're my least played role and I'm trying to widen my pool of gods I can play comfortably. Had a few decent games with Khepri and he's fun too, but this last Cabrakan game was one of the best Guardian games I've had in recent memory. Gonna really have to play more of him.
