Note to anyone viewing this build: It is not recommended for use at all.

Suggested generic Damage builds for non-conquest:

Glass Cannon: Warrior Tabi, The Crusher, Hydra's Lament, Void Shield, Bloodforge, Magi's Cloak.

Bruiser: Warrior Tabi, Blackthorn Hammer, Void Shield, Ancile, Runeforged Hammer, Shield of Regrowth or Pen item.

Also you have a jungle build with crit, and Gauntlet of thebes?

There wasn't meant to be a solo lane build, was there?

Until this build is fixed it's going on the blacklist: https://www.smitefire.com/smite/blog/kriega1/official-smitefire-blacklist-of-unsuitable-builds?c=144519#comment-144519

The tank/hybrid was meant to be I think. The lack of item synergy makes me wonder though.

There's a tank/hybrid build? Where?

  1. No boots. Sure Atalanta's Bow has SOME extra movement speed, but it's still situational and Achilles isn't a basic attacker.
  2. No Gladiator's Shield. You're going to be out-pressured early because you lack the sustain your opponent likely has.
  3. Jotunn's Wrath? Really? There are better cooldown items that are actually useful like Breastplate of Valor and Genji's Guard. Your lack of any real defense ( Gauntlet of Thebes doesn't count) means you're going to have some serious issues when it comes to being ganked. Speaking of which, why haven't you listed either of these items? Solo is all about counter-building your opponent and you have no real options for doing so.
  4. Speaking of defense, where's Void Shield? It has good health, protections, and pen via its aura.
  5. Don't get crit on Achilles, especially not one crit item. Again, you're not an AA based warrior. That goes double for Deathbringer.
  6. I can see the appeal of Hydra's Lament, but I think it's better in the jungle role. I'd get Blackthorn Hammer instead.
  7. Bloodforge is a good pickup if you can afford it late.
  8. Where's Pestilence for anti-heal? It'll serve you better than Bulwark of Hope against a god with sustain in their kit.
  9. Purification Beads and Aegis Amulet are very situational; so situational I wouldn't even list them. Also, meditation cloak is useless. The relics you should be looking at are teleport glyph, Blink Rune, Magic Shell, Heavenly Wings, and Horrific Emblem as needed.
  10. You should be getting Combat Dodge at level 2 and not Radiant Glory; also, you should be leveling this up before glory and Shield of Achilles. I personally think you should get dodge first and not shield.
  11. Drop db from situational and replace it with Midgardian Mail.

Not going to lie, but your build has too many issues for me to even consider upvoting it. If you can explain why you made your choices and provide me with match history where this build actually worked, I'll review my vote. Until then, I cannot recommend this build to anybody, especially not someone who's either new to the game or to Achilles.

Doesen't matter that he's not AA-based, just don't get crit on him just like you wouldn't for an AA-based warrior. If you do run it though it should be DB + Rage, also I think Weak3n has some Achilles crit videos.

Good suggestions overall, Gulf.

This is borderline archive material...it doesn't look like the build is intentionally meant to be poor, but these builds are just highly advised to be avoided. Mixing pure defense and pure offense items is just not suggested, not having full movement from Tabi is not a good idea, and all the reasons Gulf explained above.

Not going to archive right now as I'd like to give some time for response.

Don't worry it has the honor of being the first build added to the blacklist.
