PASSIVE - Upon getting a kill or assist on an Enemy god, you gain Atalanta's Agility for 10s. This effect increases your Attack Speed by 20% and decreases the Movement Penalty for attacking, backpedaling, and strafing by 30%.

Due to the recent MS nerfs of patch 6.9 would this item be considered core/useful for all AA junglers like or low mobility hunters like ?

AA junglers, yes, AMC, No.

If you need mobility due to slows on a hunter get winged blade. Relic dagger isn't a bad choice either if you need your relics up often. Otherwise you don't need the extra movement, just use his hives properly.

Viability / General Use: Medium / High viability. Situationally popular item for basic attack-based Assassins and Hunters for the high attack speed and added mobility.

Advantages: Low cost, and provides a mobility boost for Junglers or any god looking for enhanced movement speed for rotations, chase, and escape.

Disadvantages: No penetration.

Restrictions: Physical gods only.

Discussion: With no penetration, it's a better item when pen has already been built. It finds good use in high attack speed builds, and has good synergy with or gods like .

Then late game, sell Ichaival and buy power or penetration, as if the Fatalis buff had never happened.

To make full use of its passive, you need to be able to fire and land 4 or more basic attacks in the span of 2 seconds or less, meaning you must have at least a 2.01 atk speed or more. But by the time you have that amount of atk speed, that means that you don't really have that much power. It's a niche pick, for lmb holders looking for dps without the d.

But no Papps, getting another stack refreshes the duration...

Yeah but after you get that stack the timer starts ticking down again, it's not additive.

This means that in-between every shot you have but 2 seconds to land a new shot or you'll lose all the stacks you've gathered. As such, you do need to have enough attack speed to launch (and hit) a shot every 2 seconds to make use of the passive to its full potential.

That is true... And it'll be 3 seconds with the next patch, making it a bit more effective. But it's NOT 4 attacks within the span of 2 seconds.

Either way there are probably many better options.

I think Pappsi worded it wrong and meant that you need to land 1 hit every 2 seconds minimum and get 4 censecutive hits that way to fully benefit from the passive.

And yeah, there are better options, unless you really want that attack/movement speed.

You may already have in your build. People build a lot of crazy things these days, I wouldn't be surprised to see somebody actually try a 6 attack speed item build, whether it'd be serious or just for a laugh.
