When Odin releases Gungnir it travels forward, damaging enemies and stopping on the first god hit. The first rune causes allies around Odin to gain Attack Speed for 3s. The second rune allows Gungnir to stun.

Odin summons a wall of spears that blocks his enemies movement. Enemies inside the ring cannot heal, and their power is reduced by 15%. Odin is immune to Slows and Roots while in his Ring. A portion of the wall can be destroyed when hit by 5 Basic Attacks. Enemies that leave the ring through or over a wall are chased by Gungnir, taking damage and becoming slowed for 2.5s. Enemies that die inside Ring of Spears grant Odin a permanent bonus to Physical Power.

It's been nearly a year since they buffed it but it's a strong early game bridge item that scales well into the late game.

Because Odin wants CDR I would normally get Breastplate of Valor however Genji's Guard and Bumba's Hammer give 10% each so going glad gives you more room to get stuff like Relic Dagger, Witchblade or Potion of Power.

Lastly, because you're getting Void Shield later anyway you can afford to get less prots on a bruiser item like Glad. The passive of glad and Bluestone Pendant stack really well with void too which is why you see that frequently right now (which is besides the point as this isnt bluestone Odin but hey ho).

On a god that wants CDR, and trying to avoid having to pick up Breastplate of Valor or Pridwen as a core item, yes. Bumba's gives 10%, Genji's gives 10%, and another CDR item allows for flex. Glad shield should fit the bill.

Hey Biggie,

No complaints here on the builds; they look balanced, and named for easy reference.

One mistake though, your relic section is messed up. You only have Blink and Beads, but you reference Teleport in the notes.

I just realised with the Offence Options, Defence Options and Relic Options I did all the work to it and it didn't save. Slightly frustrating.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
