Hello There! Ratatoskr is the god that i have loved playing. Me and him go back before season 3 on Xbox One. I know a lot about his play style and I wish to teach it to you. So lets not stall any further and jump into the Guide.

Abilities

Passive: Acorn of Yggdrasil

Ratatoskr spawns with a powerful Magic Acorn from the World Tree in his inventory, replacing his item slot for boots. This Magic Acorn can be upgraded anywhere on the map to increase his power and movement speed. Once fully upgraded the Acorn provides a passive that heals him when using any of his 4 abilities.

Hey Dogsrock2540,

Nice build. You also should considerate giving nice protections and due are always close of your target, this item passive will work pretty well saving you a lot of times. I don't think it worth in late game, but it's a nice item on early and is other nice item you should test 'cause it's very good on him with .

Besides, with new passive and recent buffs, became a very good item on him if you intend to do a Solo due the high sustain this item will provide.

Try it and tell me know what you think. Also don't forget to remove from your alt power items since it's no longer available on the game.

Agreed in part. is absolutely a solid item for Rat. However, I don't like at all (I think, if you need individual magical protection that is probably the better choice, and the guide creator does have that listed as an option).

Also don't like the suggestion of , personally. That 10% heal on abilities is usually pretty underwhelming.

Don't personally like seeing built so early, and don't think crit items are good for him at all.

And rather than , I think his better option early would be . SCS isn't nearly as good late (it's flat protection reduction which is much more helpful early), and on top of that, he's not really a basic attacker...he should be weaving basics in between ability use, so a functional offensive item that is missing is .

Ohh I forgot about , almost a core item to him. About , how I said it works nice on a Solo , in a jungler I wouldn't recommend this item. I also agree with as on of the last items and burst Items such as worth more than Critics.

Bloodforge simply because its expensive. Lifesteal is great, but I feel hydra cheap cost and cdr will offer a better early to mid game.

Hey Diabetic,

Yeah, it would be dropping , partly due to price and mostly because he likely won't get much out of the lifesteal. The passive's health bonus from a kill is nice, but he might not always get the last hit, and at least with regard to survivability, you have in there already to help with that, so the shield is perhaps luxury.

Depending on the game, I think a more standard build order would be more like:

, (can delay or skip if preferred but the early high movespeed is nice for rotations in the Jungle), , , , .

Well ****. See, I don't honestly know the best order of all these. Hydra's would be nice earlier, but is just so strong right now. Always sucks to delay CDR, and maybe you need protections earlier. LOL.

Possible drop to also. If so, probably get 2nd?

He can also be built a lot tankier...get 2 protection items, like + a magical protection item, and consider as the MS item instead of HS.

Oh and I didn't catch it before but I'd strongly prefer over .

This build provide High burst on early and mid game, where shines so I guess this is the best option and some in late game to gain some protections or if you prefer power.

When I play Ratatoskr I don't just aim for Mages I aim for tanky Opponents juts cause He is an Assassin doesn't mean you can't do his Job right I do perfectly fine but items like these r nice and all but No Pent cause some Mages do build physical Protections .
