Baron Samedi animates two skulls, both which briefly warm up before firing two beams of voodoo magic that damage enemies. The beams crossover wherever Baron Samedi was aiming. Enemies hit by both beams take 15% damage on the second hit.

If the enemy god hit is above 30 Hysteria, their Physical Power, Magical Power, and Attack Speed are reduced for 3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5s.

Baron Samedi pulls the souls of the living towards his Coffin, becoming immune to Crowd Control and taking 50% reduced damage. Enemy gods within range are caught in a Vortex, dragging them towards the Coffin and take damage every .33s. When an enemy god reaches the coffin their soul is ripped out, causing them to be stunned, take a large amount of damage based on their maximum health and gain max Hysteria. This ability persists for 3.5s or until an enemy god is pulled to the coffin.

If targets being pulled are above 30 Hysteria, the pull strength is increased.

Hey, for solo why do you suggest Guardians? in 2nd level of his 2 it seems to do well in clearing. I was using attackers, so maybe with Magi's it will be better?

I played him in solo once and was kinda fun, want to play more

Baron is easily out cleared by most part of solo laners, that's why guardians.

I love Baron Samedi's versatility, but I feel dirty when I play him as a support because he’s VERY strong rn, easily the best mage support.

Build 10 is pretty similar to what I use, but I build Oni Hunter’s instead of Genji’s, and something else instead of Asclepius.

Baron isn't that strong as before, still good, and better than him in mid lane. Especially with the recent influx of assassin supports like Fenrir.

If you think he's the best mage support you haven't seen Hera.

I believe Baron is way better when built with defense/bruiser items, so yeah, I preffer him in Solo/Support than Mid. Let’s see how the nerf to his heals will affect him.

Actually, I have tried Hera in the Support role (despite my friends complaining about it lol), but in my experience she’s very weak in the early game and relies on Argus to be able to effectively peel for her teammates. Her 2 is strong, sure, but her main strength is Argus.

Hello. I am not kriega (surprise!) But I want to give my 2 cents.

He is actually building as a bruiser. Baron is really strong right now, so it would be a waste to not build some damage on him. Kriega is building spear of the magus, so if you had a mid lane mage that did not use spear of the magus efficiently (like Hel), you would be helping out your mid laner and guardian do more damage to the enemy.

Also, for the full damage build, kriega mentions to only use it if your team is lacking magical damage. Let me know if I can further assist you.

hey I was wondering out of all the builds you have, what is best if you are facing baron in middle lane? what would you prioritize

It's up to you. But you probably want a Divine Ruin at some point to counter the other Baron's healing and you could get an early Bancroft's Talon (which you could always sell lategame) if you want to gain a lane advantage over him, especially if he goes for an early stacking item. Or you could play for the lategame, by getting a Warlock's Staff. High Cooldown reduction could also help.

E.g. Shoes of the Magi (or Shoes of Focus), Warlock's Staff, Chronos' Pendant, Divine Ruin, Spear of the Magus (Or Obsidian Shard), Soul Reaver.

In this build you could get Bancroft's Talon instead of Warlock's Staff and either keep it lategame or sell it for Gem of Isolation or Rod of Asclepius.

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
