Intro

So, you want to play Bakasura. Let me tell you something first: you want one v ones. If you go in alone against more than one other god, you are probably going to die. However, if you go against someone who is alone, and you hit your basics (preferably with butcher blades active) you are likely to win. So, hit your basics, and one v one them.

Speed, Your Blades Are Speed

As Baka, you want butcher blades on often, and you want the damage from them to proc even more often. So, you want to attack fast. The more hits you get, the more true damage you get. True damage isn't mitigated, so you're doing at least 70 damage per basic with butcher blades active. But, you need to be in melee range to hit your target, which brings us to the next topic...

Frostana

The frostana (formerly frostalis) combo is one that has existed for a while, rest in peace hastened fatalis. It makes landing your basic attacks continuously very easy because while you don't suffer a movement speed drop when you hit an enemy because of hastened katana, your target does suffer a movement speed drop because of frost hammer. Frostbound hammer also helps you stay alive a little longer with the health it gives you, but that is not the main purpose of it. Hastened Katana gives you some more attack speed and movement speed, so you'll be able to catch people that you usually wouldn't be able to in addition to getting some more butcher blades true damage off.

Catch Them

To the person who doesn't read abilities in depth, they may have missed that Baka's passive and his eat give him extra movement speed. This, in combination with his leap, makes him very easy to catch up to people with. So, if an enemy is running away from you and you're near a minion wave, have a quick little snack.

Regurgitate All Over Them

Baka's ultimate, regurgitate, has him vomit up all the minions he's eaten and apply a slow in a fairly large area. If you happen to see someone sneaking away from a fight, leap over the front lines, use your ultimate, and go to town by chomping down on some divine flesh. With the frostana combo, you should be able to keep up with them very easily. If you didn't leap to get to them, be sure to watch for enemies around you. You're worth more to your team alive than dead, so if you get in trouble trying to secure a kill, leap out of there as quickly as you can.

O. Bow and Eating

Bakasura doesn't have impressive clear. Odysseus' Bow fixes this problem with the jumping lightning every fourth basic attack. In combination with your eating of a minion about every other wave, this should make you pretty good at clearing out minions. Keep in mind that in Arena, the buff camp monsters are the big jungle camp monsters. When they are eaten, you gain 2 minions for your ultimate. I recommend quick or instant casting for the eat because it won't go off if you can't do it. Saving the jungle camps to eat is often times in your best interest, but if other gods are headed towards you (to kill you and/or kill and take the buff) just kill the buff and keep the exp and gold away from them.

On Not Stealing Stacks

If someone is building stacks on your team, I implore you to use the other build. It may have slightly less attack speed, but it will pay off in the long run when that teammate has maxed out stacks and doesn't hate you. Eating only when necessary also helps to alleviate this problem, as only 3 buff camp monsters are needed for you to have all the minions you could possibly have for your ultimate.

What are the thoughts on Ichaival for him? I was thinking of running Hastened Katana Stone Cutting Sword Ichaival Asi Qin's Sais The Executioner and in matches where gold is not a problem switching from asi to Bloodforge at the end like I have been on another build. I also realize like you were telling him that 1 protection item would be good. Urchin is normally what I like on him, but I will try void or runic shields to see how it works sometimes. If Ich is a valid option for him would it make more sense to take out the asi altogether and then urchin at the 3 or 4?

Why are you building Frostbound Hammer over Qin's Sais? Big mistake there.

The concept of Frostalis/Frostana is fine, but the true application of it suffers to a degree.

You got a main concept correct. Attack speed is Bakasura's friend. The higher your attack speed, the more DPS you get. This is something key to Baka's kit, due to Butcher Blades' additional true damage.

Thing is, Hastened Katana is a core item of his. But that, by itself, allows you to stick to an enemy. Frostbound Hammer is essentially overkill (meaning, it doesn't do you any further good), because the main function of it is to slow enemies down so you can stick to them a bit more. You don't need that because you already get Katana, which allows you to do exactly that. You also have a leap, for when enemies try to get away. Sure, the added health is nice...but essentially, there end up being better items for him.

I also feel that Odysseus' Bow is unnecessary. Sure, the AS boost is nice, but you don't need its AS if you build more efficiently for DPS. And you get really nice AOE / teamfight damage when you activate your ult. You talk about O-Bow helping due to Baka's weak clear. At the point you get the item (4th main), you don't have any problems with clear. Butcher Blades can be used, or just use Eat Minion on the bigger minion in a jungle camp. His base damage otherwise is fine by that point.

I consider the following to be core: Hastened Katana, The Executioner, Qin's Sais. When you build up your AS and get it above 2.0, you're in a good spot. Qin's, like Butcher Blades, appreciates high, consistent AS, and from a single item, you will get no better DPS than via Qin's Sais.

And of course, although Butcher does true damage, the rest of your basic attack does not. You will get great protection shred from Exe (and if you end up going with Qin's as I suggest, Qin's passive also benefits from the protection reduction).

For your Tabi, either Ninja Tabi or Warrior Tabi are perfectly fine. I prefer Ninja. With those 4 items, you're at an attack speed of 2.17 (max is 2.5).

The 2 other items you get depend on what you prefer. If you want lifesteal, Asi is fine, and it gets your AS to 2.37. You would stop with your AS right there. Otherwise, Bloodforge works too, if you pick up lifesteal late game.

I also like 1 protection item, personally. Where you like Frostbound partially for the health, I prefer a more balanced protection item. For an assassin like Baka, who likes to get in, deal damage, and then back off, I like Hide of the Urchin. The balanced protections, along with similar health, gives him a lot more survivability than just health alone.

I can guarantee you that Ninja + Katana + Qin's + Exe + Urchin + Asi gives him higher DPS than your build. I can understand the preference for your build, as it feels like you get better control due to the addition of the slow from Frost...but there's a very good reason most people have talked down on Frostalis in the past. It's nice to have, but there are items that will benefit your damage more.

As for your skill leveling order, I personally would get Take Down earlier...either 2nd or 3rd as preferred. It's your only mobility/escape, and you never know when you might need it.

Finally...by getting Attacker's Blessing, you're basically saying this isn't a Conquest build. That's fine, but I'd clarify that in your guide writeup or in the title...otherwise, try my build, get Assassin's Blessing instead, and you've got a pretty solid Conquest build.

What kriega is saying is that your dps suffers without qins sais. You don't have enough power to 100-0 an enemy.
