Don't buy bulwark if there are no magical threats.
Warrior Tabi
Breastplate of Valor
Bulwark of Hope
Void Shield
Masamune
Spirit Robe
Only get pestilence if you are the main tank or your tank doesn't buy it because the aura's won't stack. Replace Genji's late with bulwark.

Warrior Tabi
Genji's Guard

Shogun's Kusari

Hide is for anti-crit; midgardian and witchblade are for AA gods; winged blade is for slows; frost is for the health and as slow.
Hide of the Nemean Lion
Midgardian Mail
Winged Blade
Witchblade
Frostbound Hammer
What relic you buy depends on the enemy team and what your main tank does or doesn't purchase. You should not need purification beads, but it's an option against hard CC gods like Ares and Xing Tian.
Heavenly Wings
Belt of Frenzy
Magic Shell
Phantom Veil
Shield of Thorns
Horrific Emblem
Blink Rune
Purification Beads
Cursed Ankh
Bellona is a bruiser warrior, which means she needs to build power and defense because her job is to get into the enemies' faces and stay there while her teammates pour on the damage. If she can get a kill, so much the better.
There are a number of items that Bel can put to good use; way too many for me to go into detail in a build guide. Pick the item(s) that best fit the situation: if you're the main tank, take more protection items. If you're the secondary tank, get more power items and some attack speed like
Shogun's Kusari and
Witchblade provided your main tank hasn't already bought them.

I would agree with her getting some good use out of items that provide utility along with attack speed, but that they're situational as you list.
Not sure where I'd categorize
In general, I like your first example build structure as a universal one (rather than just 3 phys/2 mag), but don't like your other build at all.
And the reason I don't feel Bulwark is core is because, in the case of lots of healers,
Finally..."Are you not entertained" should be a question =P But that's a great movie.
- In your notes for 3+ Physical, you say "don't buy bulwark if there are no magical threats." I would say that you probably would also consider not getting
Masamune or
Spirit Robe, since part of their stats will be wasted. In that case, you'll be best going with other utility items...all phys really helps you sneak in functional, targeted items. With so much physical protection stacking, it also allows you to consider more aggressive options. Instead of
Masamune, consider
Stone Cutting Sword. You can also consider
Brawler's Beat Stick for anti-heal.
Sovereignty could even be an option, if another person doesn't build it. And of course, all phys would mean it's very likely you're facing at least 1 or 2 basic attackers, which means
Midgardian Mail would be a really strong item. Of course, you don't want to have to list 20 builds, so examples are fine...but this goes back to my suggestion of a different way of organizing item types...other than your builds, you only have a "situational" category.
- Those same points apply to the 3+ magical build examples.
Overall, though, I think those example builds are solid.Regarding
If I were to explain with more detail, I would say 50 power reduction is nice, but only affects incoming damage from magical gods and only at 55 units or less, and that's a big reason I don't like it. If you get hit with a long distance ult, or any physical damage, it's not doing you much good there (though the health and magical protection of course will help). If your teammates get hit while you're not in that range, it doesn't do them any good either.
50 power reduction is good early, but fairly weak late. When enemy mages might have 400+ power, this represents maybe only 12% of their total power. And against a magical tank that doesn't really build power much, they rely more on their base damage than scaling.
In comparing the most similar type of item (in that it provides power, health, protection, and an enemy effect aura),
And as I mentioned
So...altogether, it feels like a weaker overall variant of
Does that explanation provide better understanding of my pref?
In all seriousness, i have nothing to add. Bran covered everything. My biggest gripe was the frostbound being core
That seriously was the most entertaining thing that night.
