And add Runic, maybe in a example build, e.g. Talaria Crusher Arondight Winged Blade Runic Mantle Heartseeker

Builds are updated for Patch 7.4, "Final Boss".

Nike jungle is back, baby. God bless Cyno.

Hi Vini,

I think both starts are very interesting. I think the Soul Eater start has potential, not only for the sustain, but the CDR and power. The power is something Nike can definitely use, due to 120% scaling equivalence on Rend with 3 hits. This start should only ever be considered when the enemy can't interrupt you, though. I really think this should be explained, as to when you would choose one start over another.

Blackthorn Hammer is definitely a functional item, and really boosts her HP when ulting. Think maybe you're missing Gladiator's Shield as well. And the Guardian's Blessing start (dammit I hate you Guardian's in Solo) should still be considered if you've got a hard counter in-lane.

One thing I perhaps don't agree with is combining Hide of the Urchin with Gauntlet of Thebes. These are interchangeable items in my mind with regard to main purpose, with the choice between the two usually depending on role. I like Thebes potential for Supports a bit better, while of course Urchin sees a lot of play in Solo. Other than the aura from Thebes, they both offer similar function...good dual protections along with some health (and mana in the case of Urchin, but that's beside the point). As such, you're getting 2 items that absolutely make you more tanky, but both of which are mostly selfish. Getting both gives you amazing tankiness, but limits your utility. Instead of Thebes, I'd always prefer to get an item that provides other function...debuffs from Witchblade or Midgardian Mail, reflect from Hide of the Nemean Lion, etc., etc.

I'm guessing you saw Deathwalker build both at one point, but it's not showing up on SmiteProBuilds. In any case, see any of those builds, and it sort of backs up what I'm saying about decreasing your utility. None of them are building both. Granted, that's S5 before the 75 health buff of Thebes, but I don't think that turns it into a core item.

Also, you're missing Void Shield as a functional item. And I don't personally like seeing Masamune as an example 6th item in your builds. It can be a situational item, sure, but is not a great example for your full builds, IMO.

Hey Bran.

You’re right, I forgot to add Void Shield as an option. I’ll do that next time I’m on a PC (probably tomorrow).

I’ll also try to explain better when you should use each of the builds, since I’m still experimenting stuff with her.

About Gladiator's Shield: I guess we discussed about it a while ago in another Nike build, but it doesn’t proc on the 2 (or 3) hits of Rend, only on the first one, so the item ends being useless. SE provides A LOT more sustain, both for autos and abilities.

About Thebes and Urchin, Deathwalker is building both of these items A LOT lately, and the build I listed is what he recommended me when I asked about it on his stream. For sure, Thebes won’t always be the best item to build (i.e. if you need counter items, if your support has built it, and so on), but it’s definitely a great and viable option for solo builds. Now, for Urchin, I’d probably always build it, since it’s one of the best defense items in the game, despite needing stacks.

I like Masamune’s passive for Nike, since she tends to dive into the enemy team for disruption, and the additional prots will allow her to survive longer in the fight. But with the addition of Elixir of Speed there might be better options than Masamune, but I’ll need to run some tests on options. Maybe Void Shield?

Forgot about Glad shield proc. Good point.

Regarding DW, okay, I can see that. I'd say, if you get both of those, then, the rest of your build should be things that increase utility. Instead of Midgard, then, maybe Witchblade (if basic attackers, of course). Cuz you're getting such high protections that you're either asking for it to be cut down with Titan's / Ob, or you're getting severely reduced function from extremely high protections, due to diminishing returns / less effectiveness the higher the prots.

Again, you get both Urchin and Thebes, you really don't need a whole lot more prots, unless you're getting added utility. The power on Masa is nice, but the added prots...eh. The MS is nice, but missing Void, as you're thinking, yes, Void is probably a better option than Masa in most cases.

First of all, you need to fix your leveling order, Rend with 4 points and Plan of Action with 6?

Second, I'd like you explain why did you built some doubt Items like Soul Eater, reinforced graves (Tá assistindo Serious?), Gauntlet of Thebes, Talaria... and other items not so common in solo for me understand you thought process. Same for the builds, I couldn't understand some solo builds like the first one and "Death walkers".

Thank you for your attention.

Oops, the leveling order was a misclick. I fixed it now.

I consider Soul Eater to be the most questionable item from the build, because I haven’t found anyone to back me up on this. But I played a lot of games with it and the sustain you gain on lane is absurd, plus the CDR that Nike needs to build ASAP. But of course it should be replaced late-game, preferably with another CDR item ( Spirit Robe in the example build).

Now, why do you consider Reinforced Greaves and Gauntlet of Thebes questionable? I chose Reinforced in the SE build because I don’t have Warrior's Blessing to reduce incoming damage, so I can’t wait for the third item to build defenses.

And Gauntlet of Thebes is one of the best defensive items in the game, and if the support haven’t built it, the solo can do it without a doubt. 275 health + 50 of each protection type is exactly what Nike needs, due to her ultimate.

About Talaria Boots, I’m still testing if it’s viable, so I can skip Teleport Glyph and buy a more useful relic.

Deathwalker is a SPL solo player and streamer. I asked him on his stream how he would build Nike, and that was his suggestion. I don’t agree with the first two items because Nike without CDR is a pain, but I listed it nonetheless.

Thanks for the feedback and the heads up.
