Update

Update 1(11/09/13): added a skill order and some coding at the skill section so know you can see the actual skill values and just look at a short text and in general details of what i think about those skills and there use ect... i also added some other details to the guide i will at a latter time add additional builds and play styles for him that im currently working on

Update 2(11/12/13): added build option 2 for a duo lane with its own items and adding a section for a alternative play style(just a bit more focused on AA for push with some help from your support and not spamming spells) this style of play will be covered in items (for duo lane) and general play style in duo lane without Transcendence

Update 3(11/14/13):added a match up section were i will talk about gods that are hard/easy to deal with i will continue to update this as time goes on for now only 1 guy is here who is a often pick(in my cases) for mid and is hard to deal with

Introduction

welcome to my overall 14th guide and its on the current new god Ah Muzen Cab in case the site does not have him updated here yet from what i can see ill edit in and update the guide more when they do for now ill just give a fast look on him

i will assume that you know the basics of what AA FG GF AD and AP mean as well as AoE MIA CD and CDR but just in case:

AA - Auto Attack

FG - Fire Giant

GF - Gold Fury

AD - Attack Damage

AP/MP - Ability Power/Magic Power

AoE - Area Of Effect

MIA - Missing In Action

CD - Cooldown

CDR - Cool Down Reduction

HP - Hit Points/health bar

MP - Mana Points

HP5 - Health/hit Point Regeneration per 5 sec

MP5 - Mana point regeneration per 5 sec

DoT - Damage Over Time

HoG - hand of gods

Pros / Cons

Pros:

+ good passive Bees! give good poke early fall of a bit mid game and catch up by late game

+ Hive is very unique steroid that will force you to plan things out well and control your zone made by this

+ has a wave clear spell in the farm of Swarm

+ he has a unique slow/poke/clear spell in the form of Honey you cast it then draw the aoe with a circle so it can take many forms

+ his ultimate Stinger deal good damage and cripples for 3 sec and to top it all off if you pick up the stinger that falls of the enemy god you reduce its cooldown by 80%

+ very fast movement and attack speeds while in his zones created by Hive

Cons:

- Very Mana Hungry early/mid game

- Mark of the Vanguard is somewhat a counter item to us as its passive cuts our early Bees! damage in half making our poke much less of a threat and sometimes even making them immune to it if they have high base protections ect...

- Swarm can be hard to hit at times

- Hive can be destroyed with 1 AA which means we need to plan well and place them behind some walls and similar ect...

- Stinger is a bit of a delayed skill shot which can be hard to land at times

- like some adc Ah-Muzen-Cab is squishy

- Bees! can sometimes draw agro when you dont want it so be careful

Skills

Passive: Bees!:they deal dot damage and infect nearby enemy targets as well

in general:a good passive that helps kill a creep wave and poke enemy gods bit by bit early on

spell 1: Hive: you place a hive at targeted location and a AoE becomes your zone were you get more attack and movement speed

in general: this skill can decide if your a good or bat AMC(Ah Muzen Cab) putting the hives at positions were there harder to reach while supporting you is quite nice and making path way networks can really pay off or save you they also act as soft wards if you look at the map and see that 1 near you has been destroyed you can assume its the jungler

spell 2: Swarm:a line based skill shot that deals damage and triggers the passive

in general:a good wave clear skill with very long range its also our poke

spell 3: Honey:a unique skill that lets you draw the aoe with a circle it slows and bees from a nearby Hive will fly over it to protect it and deal damage and apply the passive in case there is no hive bees can come from a cast of Swarm as well

in general: a awesome unique spell were you draw the aoe with a circle then deal damage and apply a dot effect on targets what's not to like here well except its early mana drain issue

spell 4: Stinger:a line based delayed skill shot with cripple if it hits a target it will fall of after 3 sec or if they die or use beads and if you pick up the stinger that fell off the skill will lose 80% of its CD

in general: a fine fine ultimate giving him good burst and kill secure potential as well as a method of preventing enemy gods from using there escapes as there running away and its overall effect on a enemy god can cause panic

Items (for solo/mid)

1 - Warrior Tabi - for its pen and AD as well as movement speed

2 - Transcendence - for its large Mana and AD and mp5 since were very mana hungry but this will fix that well

3 - Qin's Sais - i like this item over Qin's Blades right now but both are a option life steal and some AD and attack speed and the passive give us more damage as well

4 - Rage - for its crits and the passive gives more crits so we get this 4th

5 - Deathbringer - for its passive and large AD scales

6 - here we have a lot of options in case you need pen you can get either Titan's Bane or The Executioner both are good option or in case you want more life steal Bloodforge is a fine pick for it

Items (for duo lane) and general play style in duo lane

1. Warrior Tabi - this item is obvious as we need the movement speed and its other stats are good as well

2. The Executioner - this item is replacing Transcendence from our build 1 it gives pen attack speed and some AD but we also lose our spam spells play style to a fair degree and every spell counts

3. Qin's Sais - this item gives us some AD more attackspeed and the passive adds bonus damage depending on there missing HP which is great

4. Rage - for obvious critical strike chance

5. Deathbringer - for its passive and its overall high stats

6. here we have a few options but usually id get more life steal so i would get either Bloodforge or eye of retaliation but there are some other options which i can get

alternative options for last item:

1. Titan's Bane - in case the enemy team had a bruiser or tank like solo( Hercules/ Zhong Kui(his passive early + 1 hybrid item) a bruiser like jungler ( Fenrir/ Thor) and that they had a hunter(ADC) and guardian(tank) in duo lane and in case your team had a few AD based picks and that there counter building you guys to a degree well this item makes sure that there counter build loses its purpose(combined with The Executioner you have a bit over 50% pen + some flat pen which means that 200 protections get cut down to 100 then lose the flat value and are reduced to around 75 or so protections i think i did not mess up the math on this)

2. Frostbound Hammer - this makes it really hard to run away from you and makes you really hard to catch as 1 AA and a Honey spell will be a near 50% slow it can also for players that walk over Honey to take quite some damage from it and refresh Bees! by 1 or 2 ticks and your already fast while in your hive zone this item is also really good if the enemy team has goods that depends on there speed for jukes like Poseidon or Chronos this item helps deal with those 2 to a degree

3. in some games instead of getting Qin's Sais 3rd i get devourer's gloves 3rd and i get the Qin's Sais or Qin's Blades last i do this when there seems to some chance for farming it up though in general when the enemy is passive and waits for ganks or if there is just a farming chance this item is rather good after its buff

now then when using a AA focused build for you dont want to spam as you will go OOM really fast so instead AA and have your partner help out with use of Hand of the Gods or there own spells ect... you should also as the name would imply be focusing on poke with AA when you can and will be using your spell to support your AA as usual except that you wont be spamming the whole combo of Honey Swarm or Stinger with it for your damage but will instead be dealing near true damage with AA the builds has the following strong points:
  • strong AA
  • alternative and less spell based play style unlike build 1 which lets us spam spells
  • overall can be more effective because of its early pen and its effect on critical strikes

its weak points:
  • Gives Early Mana Issues
  • mana issues can continue into mid game if you fall off
  • requires that you learn how to land AA often which can be hard at times

Actives

1. Purification Beads - saves lives a must have on any ADC in my opinion

2. Aegis Amulet - for burst based teams which we dont like

3. sprint - let me just say that its rank 3 form used in your zone makes you move really fast while shooting without slowing down at around 600+ movement speed

4. Shielded Teleport for getting to teamfights fast if you were split pushing or if something comes up fast

5. Eye of Providence if your solo lane and cant afford to buy wards from the store

those are all the actives i recommend on this god

Gameplay(ill be updating this as needed but for now this is how i roll)

for solo lanes

1.a i prefer the solo lane and in case solo is on the right side i help my jungler do mid camps red and blue then hit my lane

1.b in case the solo lane is left lane i mostly just see if i can grab a fast small neutral camp with mid and ward my blue in case they try to steal it then go into the lane

2.a with blue buff on me i spam Swarm for poke or push when i need it and in general harass with it as it spreads our passive Bees!

2.b since i dont have blue bufff i only cast Swarm when needed and just have 1 or 2 Hive around my tower and blue buff i then wait for the jungler to start my blue buff and help him and then take it and go into a more aggressive play style if possible

3. now at this point it matters not what side the solo lane is as your both in general just picking up blue and fighting now so make sure to cast Honey over his creeps and him and then a little bi latter (2 sec or so) cast Swarm to refresh Bees! on the foe and deal damage to him with Swarm and its base damage as well

4. you keep the above up as you try to push the tower watch out for the enemy jungler and try to steal the enemy blue buff with your jungler if he goes for it

5.when mid game starts you fight along with your team as any adc would do you will use Swarm to poke the enemy along with above mentioned combo when you can and in general
only split push when you can and its safe to do so otherwise just stick with the team

6. when you hit late game always stick with your team or you will be killed a lot so keep going for objectives and don't split up win teamfights and ect...

7.When you no longer need HP potions or that mana potions buy Ward or Sentry Ward and ward around main objectives with Sentry Ward and some paths with normal Ward at mid/late game it does not matter if your a support or not vision can decide a game

when using build 2 i play like this:

1- since im in duo lane i have my partner help me get blue buff from our side so that i can spam spells for the first 2 min i will spam them in a defensive way as to avoid pushing the lane this means i in general keep the fight near the mid part of the lane or near my own tower we weaken the creeps with AA or with my partners spells so that a singe cast of Swarm will kill them this lets the jungler gank our lane often which is overall good for us but runs the risk of making it a farm passive lane which we want to avoid so a combo of aggressive and passive play works out the best for me in general when i know the positions and location of the enemy team(wards are good for this)

2- once my blue buff runs out i count on my partner to help out with pushing with his/hers spells and Hand of the Gods and turn the lane into a more passive lane until i can have blue again during this time i let them push the lane as to open chances for ganks from our jungler

3- once i have blue buff again we kick it into a more aggressive play and so on we keep this up till mid game

4- once we hit mid game we in general do as we have done as usual poke with Swarm but only when its a sure hit as we dont have mana to waste so time it with ally CC spells

5- late game we do stuff as usual and above just more careful with our mana and try not to miss AA

Match Ups

as you are good against a large number of gods mainly those that lack amazing self sustain in lane and or have protections from passives and or skills

-Strong Points:

1.Tanky with his passive
2.good self sustain
3.lots of CC
4.can deal with our early pushand poke in most cases

this guy is a bothersome pick to fight against in mid/solo lane

-weak points:

1.has no dash/jump escape mechanic
2.he cant kill us if were careful but were in a even match in any case the jungler decided the victor here .

Summary

I hope my guide helps players trying out this new god and that you can forgive the worse then normal code used in this guide i think the site needs to update it self for the new god so till then please be ok with this

Sasquatch's criticism is very good, except I have something to add to it:

All of your guides are exactly the same, and if I recall this isn't the first time I've spoken of the lack of quality in your guides. If you want to make a guide for EVERY God, all 45 of them, then feel free to do so. However, you should make the guides with quality instead of spending 3 days on a God and writing a list of things you noticed on there.

Take Sasquatch's advice, and for reference take a look at my guides, and see what you can do to make your guides look better. BB Coding is a god-send, remember that.

Not a bad guide, but could use some cleaning up. Almost all your sentences are run-on sentences, and while I get the general gist of what you're saying the errors might make it harder for others.

As for the sections themselves:

1.Abilities
The ability section is sloppy, wiht only your brief descriptions instead of the offical descriptions. What I'd suggest is to use the official descriptions and then type what you think of the abilities. I'd also suggest that you add in a Skill Progression section so that you can show us what you think needs to be focused on.

2.Items
The items section is meh. While I don't have an issue with it being brief, I do feel that it needs a bit more work. What I'd suggest is to add in a Purchase Order section, and in there put not only the items in the items section but also items you'd feel would make good replacements for those items. Then in the item description section go over the Pros and Cons of each primary (your first choice) and secondary (second choice) items.

3.Gameplay
The strategies/gameplay you posted is too vague. You need to go a bit more in-depth on lane strategy during the farming/laning phase, then go more in-depth on the roaming/team-fight phase.

For example: where to place your Hives to get the buffs as much as possible in the lane while keeping them in relatively safe positions that makes the enemy work to get them, Where to place Hives in your path back to your lane. When to use a combo of Honey and Swarm, or how to effectively use Honey as a slow and harrassment.
