Man, you take the most negative direction possible on these. How about this? (also I'm picking on you, in case you can't tell)
- We want less restrictions on what Gods we make. We want to make the single coolest characters we can
(which can only improve our options if we open ourselves up to the idea of new pantheons...and what is that about characters "that have anything to do with each other"?)
- we will not be in a hurry (how do you get "refuse" out of this?) to "fill out" a pantheon with Gods. Some might stay small for a while.
(Just because the Japanese pantheon only has 6 and the Celtic pantheon has 4 doesn't mean we should be locked in to only releasing gods in those pantheons until they basically "catch up" to the others...talk about restrictions...and minor exaggeration? Empty pantheons? Grammatically, what does empty mean to you? Like, 4 = empty? Literally? Baking a cake...hmmm...add 4 cups of flour...what? How do I make a cake out of nothing?!? Oh but 3 eggs, that's like...mathematically, -1, lemme figure this one out, it's a stumper, I tell ya. I'm still going to complain to Pillsbury, even though they won't listen to me. XD)
- old pantheons will still get gods this year
(meaning, just because the Greek pantheon has the most shouldn't mean we can't release another Greek god until they catch up. Also, we at Hi-Rez really prefer "uneven." So, our first priority is going to look at all the pantheons...every single one that has an even number is going to either automatically get another god to make it uneven (get it, it's an odd number, eh eh?), or we'll just arbitrarily delete one god at random. Then, when we release gods from that point forward, we'll only add 2 at a time to keep the pantheon total uneven. What's that, you say? Adding 2 is contrary to the mission statement? Can't add 2 because it's adding an even number? How do we get around this freaking conundrum?)
In all honesty, why do you feel the pantheons need to be that much more even? I'd prefer the design team have some liberty to choose gods that will be fun to see, play, etc. The more restrictions, the less innovation.
