Season 3 is upon us

@Cake, I can't really know what's going on in HR's heads, but thinking they want to balance choices between The Executioner, Titan's Bane, and Qin's Sais. They've talked about Exe and Qin's being focused against high protection and high health, respectively, but at the same time, i think they wanted to expand options, because for basic attackers, it was a 100% Exe choice if you were a basic attacker.

It's still probably the better choice in most circumstances, but now their capabilities are on more level ground, so choosing Titan's Bane might not be horrible in specific cases.

Yeah I know executioner has the attack speed going for it, I was just talking purely on the penetrationy side of things.

as bran said the attackspeed of executioner shouldn't be taken out of which item is better now.

and of course exe will be better because removing protections.

just liek those spear vs obby discussions spear is better because reduction agaisnt teams obby for sieging.

@Cake, have to consider the attack speed on The Executioner as well. Yes, it takes some building up, and yes, it's now underwhelming, but if you're building crits, attack speed matters and that makes The Executioner continue to be relevant against gods. Titan's Bane is a better choice if you want to smash objectives. Asi might be better against squishy gods in some other respects.

The same thing on the magical side isn't Spear of the Magus, it's Demonic Grip, but with the lack of good attack speed items, it remains a necessity in most cases.

So, no matter how much physical protections an enemy has titam's bane is ALWAYS going to be more effective now?

(I know executioners passive benefits your teammates too, but speaking purely of benefits just to yourself titan's is always better now?)

Gonna guess spear and shard is the same deal for magical characters?

Ok guys, can anyone clear this up for me.

The Executioner has a new passive - 8% protections reduction per stack, up to 4 stacks. 4 times 8 is 32, so at max stacks you're getting 1% less than Titan's Bane does for every attack anyway? Am I right in my thinking or have I gone wrong somewhere?

Word on the streets was that the SWC threw things out of routine, as they didn't want to do the update during the championship.

Hopefully we won't have to wait 6 weeks, or however many weeks it was to get me zha, to get season 3.

Xbox takes a while cuz Microsoft is a ***** about it.
