I'm not the build creator, but I can say that you can expect to be able to build very similarly to before in a general sense, if you'd like. You can start with the starter of your choice + and go directly into .

From there, if you're going mainly for a basic attack build but with Ullr-ability intentions, then which is always commonly paired with Trans still goes well. You can then go into a bow item of your choice, or get , or build directly into if you want.

If you got a bow or built into Qin's, you can then choose either or . Exe is obviously a stronger commitment to basics, but TB is a solid pickup for Ullr's ability use, and also for any procs of O-Bow's passive if you picked that up earlier or grab it later.

That build would look like: () (or any other starter of your choice like -> ) -> -> -> -> -> .

Other options you have are to go more into a hybrid / ability focus with items like and . Use those instead of Qin's / Bows for your standard ability focus. Might be something like () -> -> -> / -> -> (switch TB / HS as preferred).

If you want much more CDR, you could try: Bluestone -> Trans -> Asi -> Jotunn's -> TB -> HS.

And this is where some of the feedback we've given is something that will be helpful for you to learn.

Protection reduction is stated in the description for Exe, SCS, Void Stone, Void Shield, Demonic Grip, etc. It reduces enemy protection of the appropriate type temporarily. This means other teammates dealing that type of damage encounter lower protections from the enemy, thus dealing more damage themselves. Protection Reduction should be considered a type of team penetration. The negative about protection reduction is that it doesn't affect structures, and in the case of Exe and Demonic, needs stacking to get full effect. But this can be of great function for your team when you're all attacking an objective, e.g. GF / FG.

Penetration itself is you yourself being able to get through a certain amount of enemy protections. It only ever applies to you. The positive is that it does affect structures.

There is a hierarchy of how these stats are calculated and applied. You can read a lot more about it HERE, but in brief I will state below.

% Protection Reduction > Flat Protection Reduction > % Penetration > Flat Penetration

If you learn about this system and how it works, you'll have a better understanding of how to build for specific gods and roles, and better understand when we suggest a build or recommend not to build certain things. And until you understand some of this, you may want to refrain from trying to correct certain builds, or ask more questions.

Thanks! I read about this earlier, but did not understand where it is. in the game, alas, they don't write a separate parameter, only in the description, which creates a perception problem

This is true. In addition to the link I provided, you can also read The Word of Thoth, which is considered the premier mechanics guide for SMITE. It explains quite a bit of different things and how they're calculated, and is an invaluable resource. Hope this helps.

For clarity I will add that from your representation that means:

From 200 protections, would come first, reducing it by 10% = 180
Then if you got a proc, it would reduce it by 10 = 170 (for all magical targets)
Then if you have in your build it is reduced further by 10%, which is 17 = 153 (only for yourself)
Finally with in your build it is reduced by 10 = 143 only for yourself, while still being 170 for any other magical targets.

From what I’ve heard Binding actually applies before all forms of pen.

It shouldn't do though, it's a flat 10 reduction.

I know it shouldn't but Word of Thoth says it does: "The only deviation from the above order is the item Stone of Binding, which due to the coding of the passive applies before any % armour reduction."
