• Please Read The Items List. It is (Kind Of) important for early game sustain •
This is my first guide. I'm not really sure what I'm doing but I'd like to share my Skadi build. Built for crazy burst damage with manageable sustain.
Features Lane Clear, Life Steal, CC, Debuffs. Everything a hunter could hope for. Best of all, this is not an AA build. I struggle with AA Gods and as such I can't really play them. This is a "Try Me And You Die" build. So sit back, enjoy, grab a drink and some popcorn. This is gonna be a fun ride.
• Before Leaving Fountain At Start Of Game Items
• Mid Game Items. Necessary For The Build. Farm Until You Can Acquire
• Late Game Items. One Is Situational So Please Read And Adjust Accordingly
***BUY FIRST AND SECOND ITEMS BEFORE LEAVING FOUNTAIN AT START OF GAME***
First item on our list of killing supplies is Soul Eater. We will be keeping soul eater throughout our entire build. We need the lifesteal buff for early/mid game plus it comes with a nice little power boost for not too much gold cost. This item is good, trust me.
Second item you'll want after investing into Soul Eater is a Chalice Of Mana. It may seem unimportant or you may think Mana Potions are the way to go. It's really personal preference but I prefer to have my Mana Chalice top up every time I return to fountain (Which you likely will early game.) And whilst having it allows for a bit more sustain in lane clear and keeping enemies pushed back under tower for the first couple of minutes of the match. Use your 1 and 3. Don't be afraid. You don't need to basic when you have the Chalice.
Third item you will want to get is Runeforged Hammer. We don't care about the base stats here. The only thing we're looking at is the passive. Considering Skadi's 1 and 3 are BOTH slows, that's A LOT of time for them to be debuffed. Considering that Kaldr will be able to bite their butts a lot faster with them slowed, this is a must have item for Skadi.
Fourth item is Qin's Sais. Basically, we're just going to eat the enemy alive. They won't be able to move and the extra damage we do just goes back into our Soul Eater passive buff. After completing Qin's Sais, you should really start to see this build come alive. From here on out any squishy should be dead if you can hit your 1 & 3 and get off 1, maybe 2 hits with Kaldr. Assuming they don't go defensive Merlin, but who does that, right? Buy and Eat.
Fifth Item is The Crusher. We're basically getting this for the penetration. This will help (somewhat) against tanks. You can usually take down warriors in a couple of rotations of your abilities but Guardians may be a bit tougher. This will help give a little more power and make sure Kaldr can close the deal on enemies you have slowed with your 1 and 3 from Runeforged. This is specifically a Kaldr item.
Sixth Item Is Brawler's Beat Stick. This is situational but you'll almost always run into SOME form of healing. Rather it be a healer, a mage going with Bancroft's or a guardian who's running med cloak. This is an OPTIONAL item. If there are no healers, I would suggest rolling for a BLACKTHORN HAMMER here. You will almost always be above 25% Mana in late game. Meaning you'll have the CDR buff from it's passive. Great for confirming kills again on slowed enemies.
Seventh and last item you'll want is The Executioner. At this point Kaldr will be on them like white on rice with all the debuffs and slows you'll have. His attack speed will be through the roof and he'll land 3 autos in no time giving you the max physical debuff on your enemies. At this point, It is almost game over for anyone who tries to get near you. This is your EndGame.
GIVE EM THAT LOOOONG ARROW!
Skadi's arrow is your main "Confirm Kill" ability. It will CHUNK after the Qin's Sais purchase. We're not AA'ing because this is our form of damage. Consider it like a sniper shot.
WHO NEEDS A SHIBA WHEN YOU HAVE KALDR?!?
This is where your "AA" comes from. He'll be kind of weak early so use your 1 and 3 to poke for a bit. Later, he is what we use.
TURN THESE PUNKS INTO KRISTI YAMAGUCHI
Kristi Yamaguchi was a world famous figure skater, by the way. That's what this does. Little bit of poke but really just use it for slow.
KALDR REBORN + ELSA? CATCH THESE DUBS!
Skadi's ult is REALLY, REALLYYYY useful. It refreshes all of Kaldr's lives and also adds AoE to him as well as yourself. Will talk about how to combo this late game for insane team fighting.
• PROS •
Good Burst Damage
Solid Sustain
Great CC
Great Potential In Team Fights
Great Poke
• CONS •
No Escape Ability
Squishy If CC'd
Not Fast Due To No Boots
Levels 1-5
At the start of the match you'll have level 2 Soul Eater and a Chalice of Mana. Basically just sit at the edge of their tower, 1 into the wave, 3 if they get close. Don't send Kaldr under the tower or in to fight under any circumstance when near their tower. Just farm until you can finish off Soul Eater and can purchase Level 1 Runeforged and are level 5. Once level 5, the rest is just farming to get your items and taking fights when they are available. That's really all this is.
C-C-C-COMBOS
Being that you have RUNEFORGED HAMMER that will allow you to do increased damage to enemies slowed by CC. You'll ALWAYS want to make sure you have a 3 or 1 up. They are both slows so this will proc Runeforged Hammer's passive.
You'll want to 1 or 3 into sending Kaldr. Recall Kaldr if he gets down to 1 hit left. After the time has expired on the first slow, apply the second slow. You'll need him to confirm the kill at some point. You can combo both 1 and 3 but I am unsure if it stacks. I haven't been able to test or confirm this. But you can combo both of those for extra damage late game.
If Kaldr is down to 1-2 lives and attacking, use your ultimate. But BE SURE to use it when he still has lives left. Otherwise he will lose all lives and recall, losing his chase. Skadi's ultimate is GREAT in team fights.
Pop down your 3, send Kaldr. Pop your 1 on a squishy (Or the tank, who cares lol). Let Kaldr lose a few lives and then pop your ultimate. He is refreshed and you both turn into Elsa. The enemy team will not be able to go anywhere and you have easy kills if your team is there to confirm.
There's really not much to say here. It's a quite easy build to play as long as you are fairly patient for the build to come around and don't try to face tank. STAY AWAY FROM CC. You can survive some CC but a REALLY hard CC in a team fight will almost surely do you in. Not always the case but pretty much.
••• Kaldr Is Not A Tank •••
He is your friend. He assists you in battle. He is brittle but he is your best friend. Protect him. Take care of him. Make sure he is okay and healthy when going into battle and you will have success.
* It Isn't Your Job To Take Damage *
This build relies on a bit of patience and timing. You'll want to use Kaldr on the right person. Putting him onto a tank won't work. They have too much health and will just hit him down before you can kill them. Only use him on opposing squishies. Reap The Benefits.

Anyway Loki is trash in his current state.
You put effort into this, and I applaud you for that.
That said, this build has some major issues, starting with the lack of boots.
Or if you want SE and Rune here with your Qin's option and Crusher,
If you preferred rushing Rune earlier,
No boots build detected. Urgent Attention Required.
