Set amasses his hatred, throwing it forward. Enemies caught in its path are damaged and slowed for 3s.

Set's spawns are commanded when Set fires this attack, dashing towards a location Set determines. Enemies hit by a Spawn's dash take damage and are slowed for 3s. Any dash after the first will deal 40% damage.

Set conjures a Spawn of himself made of sand. These spawns will stand where summoned and attack nearby enemies. Set can have up to 2 charges of this ability, allowing him to conjure spawns in quick succession. Set can interact with these Spawns with his other abilities, commanding them to attack or teleporting to them. Set can only have 8 Spawns at any given time. This ability does not trigger Item effects.

Set conjures a Sandstorm around him, protecting him from Physical Damage and causing him to be immune to Slows. Enemies near Set are damaged every .3s for 6s and have their vision obscured by the sands.

If Set is targeting a spawn when this ability is cast, he will immediately teleport to the spawn. Otherwise, he can reactivate this ability to teleport. Set can only teleport once per Sandstorm.

Set enrages, channeling his rage towards his enemies, gaining increased Movement Speed. Each time Set's attacks damage a god they gain a Mark of Set. At 4 Marks the target erupts. Enemies take a burst of damage while Set becomes empowered, restoring Health and immediately gaining a charge of Spawn of Set. Excess charges are immediately consumed, causing a Spawn to appear near Set.

With how frequently 1 is up I started getting SE over glad shield. It takes longer to get online, but on 1st back I can get it and stacking in lane is so easy.

Is it cause off Anti heal ppl don't get it?

It’s because it’s useless until stacked, unlike glad Shield, as well as the price compared to glad Shield, which can be rushed in lane. Oh yeah and because selling Soul Eater lategame isn’t as bad as selling glad Shield lategame. I mean you can get Soul Eater on him but probably like 3rd/4th item or later and ONLY if you’re ahead, i’d rather get an actual decent offence item like Stone Cutting or Bloodforge for the passive etc...

So I was testing some stuff in jung practice.
Noticed his 2 doesn't proc crusher and neither does ult.
Is it still worth? Why?

Gives him good stats, still procs on his 1/3, with his 1 having a short cooldown. Of course, you don't have to get it. You can go items like Jotunns/Runeforged/Stone Cutting etc... instead. Some of the Mid/Carry example builds don't even have Crusher in them.

yeah, don't get either off the new Arthurian items on him :P cause his ult takes forever to end, haha.

Yeah I usually go Jotun, SC, Hydra. When you ult you proc Hydra sooo many times. It's sick.
Is SC as only pen item enough though for squishes.

Stone Cutting and Jotunn's is ok on it's own, but remember most squishies have around 70 base phys prots at level 20.

I see jungle Set taking blackthorne in the probuild website. Is that extra tankiness and mana that worth over dmg? I guess they do get 30% CDR for cheap.

I'll check the YT link in a bit.

Also, I think Hydra should be core on him cause in his ult he procs it so many times. Thoughts?

Yeah Blackthorn is built for tankiness, CDR and mana sustain on Set. Hydra’s I wouldn’t say is core, it can be decent if you’re even/ahead, but I would say it best paired with something like trans which you generally don’t want to bother building on him in the jungle (idk, I haven’t played Set jungle), also you can get disrupted in fights which means you may not get the chance to use your hydra’s procs, or if you tend to use the 2-1 for ranged poke without fully going in/committing. If you want to build hydra’s, that’s fine, but I don’t suggest mixing it with multiple hybrid items or in builds with blackthorn.

Why you say pair trans + hydra? Isn't that too exp/risky for solo vs jung?

I played Set solo vs Chaac, neither off us won lane. Didn't feel opportune to get Trans. When he was low he just moved away and used his heal. Prolly could have won if I went Brawlers, but chose more tanky cause off Loki jung.

You got a point on being disrupted, but in a teamfight as Set you gotta flank anyways(it's why I am terrible jungler).

If you are only going to range poke, isnt heartseeker better? Stack on minions then poke.

Depends if they have antiheal or not, and also if you need the tankiness from something like, e.g Mantle
