Ratatoskr charges up then leaps from the ground to a branch above his head. He may jump to 2 more branches before choosing a landing location. Upon landing he deals damage and Knocks up enemies. Through the Cosmos can be canceled or timed out from any of the branches, causing Ratatoskr to strike down at the current target location.

Introduction

This is my 3v3 Build for Ratatoskr the speedy squirrel. Rat is a unique god and a bit quirky but he can be very effective. Just focus on his key elements you can just smash your Enemies ;).

Pros / Cons

    Very squishy(unless you add about 1 defense item depending on the situation)

Items

Acorn
The new acorn hasnt been added to smitefire but its call acorn of yddgraisl. When the acorn is added to the site i will update this.

Jotunn's Wrath
I wont go to much into this item because its on almost every guide for a physical God out there so this is for Cool-down and the damage.

Transcendence
This is because Ratatoskr is a ability based god so adding Transcendence makes him more threatening

Titan's Bane
Get this so u have pen not much else to say about it.

Breastplate of Valor
I like this item on him because it makes him tankier and the cdr maxes him out.

Bloodforge
Because of the new passive and damage boost it makes this item extrememly effective which means its a great item to pick up

Deathbringer
I put this on here because it can be just as good as Bloodforge thanks to the added crit. Your choice.

Situational Items

I feel as if people struggle with this on any god, your situational items. New players don't understand how to use there situational items effectively. These items are for those times when your original build isn't helping and you cant seem to get though, protection, healing, or just dying from assassins. For rat and your going up against another assassins such as Loki, Nemesis, Bakasura, etc.

Ratatoskr does not have the high single target damage like other assassins, but he can be deadly and crazy to catch. When facing other assassins you csn upset someones build by building 1 defense item, if i am facing a strong physical type then i usually like to do Hide of the Nemean Lion mostly because i like that if i get hit it reflects 20% damage back at them. i also like to do Midgardian Mail if i'm not dying a lot but i need some extra protection, this has a sow effect on it and i love it because it works well with Frostbound Hammer. The others are a bit self explanatory so titans bane is for more penetration and the other is for protection plus the over time, then the Runeforged Hammer is like Midgardian Mail.

Skills

Thanks to 3.9 ur [[dart is now way more effective. even tho u cant go through enemies anymore you can slow them at max 40%. We will max this Second.
flurry of acorns
This is a good skill thsnks to the protections it takes away at max 25%. Though the scaling isnt very good so max this 3rd.
I tend to max this first because it seems to do the most damage early on because if you hit all 3 acorns it can do around 550 damage at max. which is very useful. Plus this stun is great. You can stun when u hit all 3 acorns.
This is your ult and you will put 1 point into this each time you can. This ability now knocks up when he lands on then which means if u combine this with you stun its very deadly.
COMBOS
Your average combo will usuallu be Dart> Acorn Blast>Flurry of acorns>Basic
Other combos could be Through the Cosmos> Acorn Blast>flurry of acorns> Dart>basic
The next combo would be Acorn Blast>basic>flurry of acorns> Dart>basic

Summary

I felt the need to update this since when i first put it out it was kinda bad but least now its for 3.9 so everyone can learn.

Wouldnt it be better to upgrade Flurry on levels 8,11,12.14 rather than 15,16,18,19. Dart is usually only used for escaping so the damage isnt necessary.

In regards to your suggested combos, wouldn't it be better to Flurry of Acorns before Acorn Blast? That way you would apply the protection debuff before your most damaging skill?

I hear what u r saying and have tried it but it give u r enemy to much of time to react and which gives then the chance to avoid u r burst comelet which makea going in withis the stun much more effective

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
