Introduction

I started completely random building on hades, and found this build, of which the items are not super strange in combination, because it works really well.
this build is also use able on Athene.
and it does loads of damage. :)
this build might need some tweaking of the buy sequence.
since i did not optimally build this so the buying order is not that important at the moment. i will update if i found the ideal buying order :)

also if there is any tweak you recommend post it in the comments and ill see if i like it while playing, and i might update the build here with that tweak :)

this build also only works on Arena,Conquest and Joust, not on Assault because doom orb is banned on there, you can still use the build but you need to switch out the doom orb for a different item, like for instance some boots.

Priority of Skills

-> -> ->

Skill Battle Sequence

Use this combination of skills to quickly get your kill counter up :) ( at least this order is what i like the best to use in battle )
also, this order works best if you are the one to start a fight, otherwise its still good but it gives your opponents a scare.

1. Jump in with and make sure you damage as much of the players as possible while doing so.
2. quickly use your after that.
2.5 (OPTIONAL) Use you to silence your enemies so they hurt less while you are using your ultimate
3. than your to finish them off if they arent already dead ;3
4. profit!

ALSO, make sure you have a descent amount of stacks on your doom orb for more Power :)
(minions give 1 stacks on kill, Player gives 2 stacks on kill)

Use this build in a engaging way, don't stay back just rush them with you attacks, and usually you will be fine :)

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- You will deal a lot of damage.
- you have a small amount of lifesteal (which i personally always like)

Cons:
- if you don't kill your enemy quickly, there is a good chance that you will be the one to die.

(if you have any more pros/cons to report Comment it :) )

Shroud of Darkness shouldn't be the priority if his build is leaning towards a full damage build, which Hades is perfectly capable of doing.

And np, like NightoftheWatch, I will be glad to review it again if you PM me.

While true, I'd have to agree with NightoftheWatch, it should be leveled last, but you should at least have one level by 4, which is when I choose to get it. I usually use it to help poke. Use my Death From Below and Devour Souls for some major damage. Then Shroud of Darkness to prevent the enemy god from preventing a counter-attack and do a lot of damage back. Because his basic attacks aren't where his power is at. Also, you claim this to be a damage guide, yet you give him two defense items. Granted they dish out some damage, not exactly what you want.

Shroud of Darkness is arguably Hades's most valuable ability, due to that silence/fear completely shutting down many gods. While I do think it should be leveled last, you should get it at LEAST by level 4. Besides that, the build itself doesnt look very useable. Having no boots is always bad and your build just seems like random magical power and physical defense items thrown in. Personally, I think your build should look like this ; Shoes of Focus -->
Void Stone --> Breastplate of Valor --> Rod of Tahuti --> Gem of Isolation --> Bancroft's Talon. These coupled with an absolute lack of BBC Coding and minimalistic information, I will downwote...for now. If you update the guide feel free to PM me again, so I can review it again.

Sup man, nice...um...Well since you are new to this I recommend to look at the links Greenever had gave you or look at TT's Guideception as they give the concepts on how to build a guide. Now about that build you got there. I can't really give you a build because Hades sucks major D and should never be played and I suck with him because he is the worst NA... If you want to build him properly look at other Hades builds that have 4 green bars, new or old. But don't copy someone exact build or you'll be called out or some **** like that.

Nailed It!

  • Uh...Core Item, kinda

Suggestions

  • Better explanation and clarity in most areas
  • Explain your skills instead of just talking about the combo
  • If you're going to explain the skill combo, label it for that and have a more in depth explanation
  • Most of the pros and cons don't make sense except for lifesteal and damage
  • Expand on teamwork
  • Try to change around your build, getting boots for speed. If not explain why you chose those items
  • I recommend this priority for skills. -> -> ->
  • Refer to these guides: Guide to Crafting A Guide and BB Coding Guide

sorry, im not too good in in-depth explanation, and this is the first build i ever posted on any of the fire sites, so sorry for being new.

and i told in the introduction that this build whas completely random no real explanation on why i chose those items.

and to be honest i dont think speed is really a big need in this build, because usualy people cant get away when you are attacking them.

but ill make sure to edit some parts here and there and see if i can clear some things up, not promising anything because like i said im not too good at in-depth explanations :)

and also thank you for responding :)

EDIT:
it was also pretty late at night when i posted this so i wasn't exactly all fit on writing this.
