Key Bind: 3

Hades devours the souls of his enemies, dealing damage in a radius around him. Blighted hit by this ability are Detonated, dealing damage to enemies and healing your allies around the Detonated targets. Enemy gods only take 50% of the damage from Detonating Blights.

I need an explanation on this ability. Is it correct that the most enemies you have in the ability radius, the most damage it will do to each one enemy? For example, if inside the radius are 6 minions and 2 enemy gods, it means that it will 6+2=8 times more damage to each enemy god?

Enemy gods only take 50% of the damage from detonating Blights.

Each detonation has its own radius, making the exact damage vary significantly.
So, the effective damage (correct me if I'm wrong) would be:

(b₁+(70%)p)+t(b₂+(50%)p) for jungle bosses and minions, and
(b₁+(70%)p)+(50%(t(b₂+(50%)p))) for gods.
  • b₁ is the base damage of the ability.
  • p is your magical power.
  • b₂ is the base damage of the detonation.
  • t is the number of detonations affecting the target whose damage is being calculated.
So, assuming 6 minions and 2 gods, assuming all targets are close enough together to be hit by all detonations, assuming Devour Souls is at max rank, assuming this build:
warlock's sash
assuming full stacks of Warlock's Sash, and assuming Soul Reaver does not activate:
  • b₁=235
  • p=618.75
  • b₂=48
  • t=8
We can solve the expression for:
(235+(70%)618.75)+(50%(8(48+(50%)618.75)))=2097.625 damage to gods and 3527.125 to minions.


Now I will calculate the damage with protections/penetrations. A fully stacked Hide of the Urchin gives 65 magical protections, Void Stone reduces that to 45.


1446 damage in a rare situation. 1446 damage assuming Hades builds almost entirely damage, and the only way I can think of this many detonations hitting the same target is a wave of minions walking through No Escape.
