Changelog Screech is a line attack which travels through minions, stopping on gods and dealing damage. If a god is hit, 3 echos will travel back, bouncing off up to 2 walls and lasting up to 4 seconds. If Camazotz is hit by an echo, he gains physical power for 15 seconds and his team will have vision on the god it hit for the duration. Screech is one of Camazotz’ main damage abilities, usually used first to gain physical power for the next. It’s also his main clearing ability, good against both jungle camps and lane minions. It’s typically used to open a combo, as it provides bonus damage for the next abilities if the echo is caught. Vampire Bats is a line attack which travels forward, hitting a single target, dealing damage, slowing them by 40% and lowering their healing by 40% for 3 seconds, then returning to Camazotz and healing him. If the target is a buff holder, oracle or alpha harpy, Camazotz gains a buff that stacks up to 3 times, lasting for 300 seconds, giving 2% physical lifesteal and physical healing per stack. Screech, but can sometimes be used beforehand in order to slow the target and guarantee a hit. One should constantly try to maintain max stacks by using Vampire Bats on the aforementioned jungle enemies, to maximize physical lifesteal. Bat Out of Hell sends Camazotz into the air for up to 4 seconds, during which he is un-targetable. He may swoop up to 3 times in a straight line, dealing damage which increases per god hit. It may go through player made walls, but not map walls. Bat Out of Hell is an incredible tool that can be used many ways. Namely, Camazotz is very safe when using the ultimate, and ignores and crowd control, so he can deal damage without taking damage back. Tower dives are very powerful in Bat Out of Hell. It can also be used to escape, as he can get quite far. Screech into Vampire Bats or vice versa, depending on how confidently you can hit either. A dive will often involve: 
Blink Rune, Screech (try to catch the echo), basic attack, Vampire Bats, basic attack. Bat Out of Hell and Devour should be used to avoid the most damage (in essence, jumping over abilities or running away) or dealing damage. Bat Out of Hell is a powerful resource, so best think about saving It for a certain ability, like a 
Consecration.
Screech at level 1 to clear as quickly as possible. Then level Vampire Bats for damage. Then, level Devour and then start to max Vampire Bats for the most damage and healing. Level Bat Out of Hell when possible. Once Vampire Bats is max level, level Screech to max and then Devour. Vampire Bats, early ganks are very potent. Camazotz’ is not as reliant on 
Purification Beads cooldowns, except for when comboing with a teammate. That said, Bat Out of Hell has a 120 second base cooldown, so using it before getting considerable cooldown can leave you vulnerable. Vampire Bats maxed and will start leveling Screech, this means it is very important to land Vampire Bats as that is your main damage. Purchasing Purification Beads at level 12 will mean that you can almost never die to a CC combo, as you can beeads into Bat Out of Hell and escape. Screech and Vampire Bats are great poke abilities to provide an advantage during Fire Giant dances.
Bumba's Dagger has very consistent clear and sustain and 
Bumba's Spear provides a lot of stats in late game. 
Eye Of The Jungle is still an option but Camazotz slightly prefers Bumba's Dagger.
Jotunn's Wrath is a core option which grants 20% cooldown reduction and mana immediately supplementing high frequency ganks through the early-mid-game. On top of that, it has 10 flat penetration boosting damage against squishy targets early, particularly before guardians can get 
Gauntlet of Thebes stacked. This makes Jotunn's Wrath considerably the best early-game assassin item. Jotunn's Vigor boosts Camazotz' already impressive sustain and should be bought within the first few items.
Transcendence is a core item which stacks for large amounts of power, enabling a stronger mid-late-game as a trade-off for a weak early game. Yet, Transcendence is very strong as it provides a lot of power, more physical penetration, ensures Camazotz almost never runs out of mana, and is still fast to stack.
Serrated Edge is the last necessary item that provides 20% penetration and movement speed that helps Camazotz chase enemy gods. It is generally preferable to 
Titan's Bane at the moment.
Heartseeker is a powerful late game item that provides 10% penetration and damage that scales off a target's HP. This is still relevant against squishies as many hunters are building 
Leader's Cowl and Alternative Timeline while supports build 
Prophetic Cloak and Guantlet of Thebes which give significant tank stats to squishies. It also helps Camazotz hit tanky targets which will often stand in the front and can get worn down by poke.
The Crusher is another 10% penetration with bonus damage scaling off power, often completing a build and bolstering Camazotz' poke and dive as he has fairly short cooldowns with Jotunn's Wrath to proc the passive often.
Bloodforge is a late-game item which provides power and movement speed, but also a great passive which helps Camazotz survive once claiming a kill. It doesn't have any cooldown or penetration, so it's best to leave for last when the rest of the build is complete, generally after upgrading a starter.
Brawler's Beat Stick is another flat penetration item that provides anti-heal. Camazotz has mostly single target damage, so he doesn't apply anti-heal as well but for gods who have big heals in their kits who you're diving or hunters with high life steal, this is helpful to limit that healing.
Hydra's Lament is a cheap option that provides a lot of stats and bonus damage on basic attacks after using abilities. If you can stick to targets easily, this is a great early option instead of Transcendence that spikes harder but scales less.
Magi's Cloak is a defensive option which gives defensive stats and an automatic crowd control cleanse and immunity on a 70-second cooldown. This item is great against teams with dangerous crowd control, particularly displacement like Pluck or 
Moonlight Charge into 
Gravity Surge or other significant knock-ups. It's also good against mages or carries with self-peel like Morgan Le Fay's 
Dragonflight that lets you stay on a target. If you find that your beads are not coming up fast enough to survive engagements, this is a great choice at the end of a high power build.
Mantle of Discord is an expensive defensive item that provides lots of protections. Rarely does Camazotz' need this item but it's worth mentioning in the rare cases where one needs pure protections.
