Hey everyone!

My name is Amber and i'm 22. i've been playing smite since Bellona's release, and she was my first X! still play her to this day.

I actually found this site when asking for Kukulkan help on reddit and one guy recommended you guys, but he got downvoted into the ground, but i decided to check this place out anyway. been using it for builds ever since.

Ever since the recent election, i have been so devastated, so i started playing a lot more Smite to try to cheer me up and i've been having lots of fun with my friends.

I don't really have much else going on in my life rn tbh, i got my first degree in social studies not too long ago, but i've been too busy with BLM and the trump riots to actually look for a job, thinking of going back to do my second degree but i don't really have big plans. i do know that i want to make a change, i have yet to decide how, though.

So that's it! i'm pretty excited to start being active on this site, maybe ii'l make a bellona build, idk.

Builds are only subjective, usually there are some items that are pretty much required for some gods, but if you're a high level player you should know that some builds are just BS and should be ignored.
For instance, one of my teammates tried out one of the builds I build in a previous game, now this build was by no means perfect, but it did win us the game with offensive use of Emporers armor. The enemy team was just pummeling us with their tankyness and inability to be killed so I bought void stone to counteract it. Usually, when i post a build on here, it has at least something for every game. Like my classic faf or my regular sun build.
But, if you really want to be good at the game, don't listen to builds, make your own. In the pro scene, they don't listen to builds because they have the knowledge to know that when you buy a specific item it will have a specific affect on the game and will give them a specific advance get, such as my void stone example.

A few months ago with Ra, I was in a jousting match on SMITE for PS4. One of my teammates were dead and the other was fighting two of their teammates. He managed to bring them down half health, and was still holding up. While this was happening I was stealing their mana buff. Then I saw he was starting to die so I got the buff and came over but stayed on the other side of the wall. Then since the were shown on map, I could see through the wall so I timed it out when I could use my ultimate, Searing Pain, and ended up hitting and killing both of them in one shot. After a little wile longer, we ended up winning and, after I got back to the main menu one of my teammates sent my a message say something along the lines of "Holy ****, a double kill through the wall?! You're awesome." I saw this and felt proud of myself since I felt like I wasn't that good good at the game but right then I did great. 👍👍👍

Meme builds are a great thing to have in the smite community, even though some people may argue against them.
They provide the stress relief that some people may need in a day.
If you can see that your team will carry you to victory no matter what, then you can meme build, if not, do it anyway see what happens.
Try new things! You never know what will work in a pub.
My personal favorite is movement speed Fafnir, which if this gets upvoted, i'll upload my build for.

If you truly want to become the meme lord of smite, then feel free to memebuild every game, but be prepared to loose often. The toxicity within the community against memebuilders (yes that's what we're calling them now) is often severe when you have someone like a try-hard, or an F7 warrior on your team. Nothing against the f7s, but i don't like to waste my time with games we have less than a 1% chance of winning. (Unless i can make an opportunity, but that never happens in a pub)

Anyways, vvgl and vvgg everyone.
Yer pal, …

Ok so, this is my first time making a build/guide, and so far it seems people like it, well, no one has said they did not like it, so that's cool.

I was first just thinking that I would only do guides, but then I saw this and decided that I will do this too, because I have WAY too much time on my hands, and I needed something to do.
I am thinking that I will just do little posts on this; like just cool little things I did that day, such as a 20-0 kill ratio or something. If you do not see things for a while, it either means nothing really great happened, or I just didn't feel like typing. But if your interested in that kind of stuff stay tuned for some content.

Building Basics Ep. 2: Late Game Items

Hello all and welcome to episode 2 of my Smite education series: Building Basics. Here we'll be going over building faux pas that I've seen on far too many guides, some examples including when/if to buy boots, when to stack/how many stacking items to buy, when to buy Tahuti, and more. I'll be covering just one of these topics at a time, so look for those mentioned above in future installments. Today's topic is about some of the most expensive items in the game, crit items, Rod of Tahuti and more!

.........

Smite contains many items from which you can assemble your god's build. Some of these items are extremely powerful at different stages in the game, and the prices of these items are often reflective of that. The most important factors we'll be taking into consideration today are power curves and cost efficiency. Your character's power curve is how much power they proportiantely gain a…

Building Basics Ep. 1: Shoes and Boots

Hello all and welcome to a new Smite education series I'm starting: Building Basics. Here we'll be going over building faux pas that I've seen on far too many guides, some examples including when/if to buy boots, when to stack/how many stacking items to buy, when to buy Tahuti, and more. I'll be covering just one of these topics at a time, so look for those mentioned above in future installments. Today's topic is about those items you wear on your feet, shoes and boots!

.........

As most player's know, there are quite a few varieties of shoes and boots (the difference between the two being that magical gods can only buy the shoes variants while physical gods can only buy boots variants). These include Shoes of Focus, Shoes of the Magi, Reinforced Shoes and travelers shoes for guardians and mages, and Ninja Tabi, Warrior Tabi, Reinforced Greaves and Talaria Boots for hunters, assass…
