let's start by saying that yesterday started out normal went to work had a long day, read up on smitefire and was excited to play when home. fast forward to after dinner I'm getting smite loaded and ready I que up a duel its how I usually start to get my fingers loosened up and get on point for later games. so I load in no problems at all we ban I pick Ao Kuang and he chooses his platinum Vulcan so I prepare for a tough grueling matchup. game is going good and tough I play very smart and cautious for I know I can win if playing right. like I thought it's a tough matchup I kill him a couple times he gets his first kill on me and gets my tower and then I kill him a couple more times while he is trying to just end the game quickly by destroying objectives because at this point its 5-1 and he can't kill me and ends up dying when he tries, I get bull demon while my tower is down and his tower still up so he can't get my Phoenix down easy. I get his tower while he is hitting my Phoenix, he g…

Hard Carry Hard Fail

I just want to put this match here and make some comments.

First of all I want to complain about . What kind of Jungler says "Attack" then immediately retreat letting you die then returns to get the kill? Plus she wasn't able to secure a single kill without die, so congrats to all your kill steals. Not happy with everything she just left the game staying base, a game that was possible to win due my hard carry (I'm ). Congrats kid, one the worst junglers I've met.

Second, what is in the mind of this ? What kind of support build like this? Do you want to support or steal kills? And congrats to miss all your skills in teamfights too.

Third Congrats to always trying to split push and not helping with anything losing a FG while he could ult to secure it.

As would say "It's hard to find good help these days"

So, I was watching the trailer for the new Dragon Ball Super movie that's coming out in January, I remembered that when I first started playing Smite I used to play constantly just because he is voiced by the great Sean Schemmel (voice actor for Goku, who is loosely based off of Sun Wukong IRL). Lol. Also, thanks Hi-Rez for giving us a DBZ inspired skin, but not a Wukong one.. :)

Also: I don't know about anyone else here but i own, and love the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series (this series is what led me to try out Smite in the first place), and find that I want a lot of characters from the book to have Gods added to Smite. If you haven't read them, and enjoy reading, I highly recommend them

Gods from the series I want in the game:
Scathach, the Warrior Maiden - Celtic
Prometheus, Master of Fire - Greek
Xolotl, Aztec god of fire - "Mayan"?

This black Friday I saw a good discount on South Park: The fractured but whole (hehehe)("A fenda que abunda força" in Portuguese) and I decided to buy it, I payed something around 64 reais (something around 15 dollars) with all DLCs.

I'm suspect to say it 'cause I'm a really fan of this cartoon (you can see it by name :p) but man, what a good game. This game fixed all the "The stick of truth" flaws (such as the poor combat system and quick campaign) with a very cool and funny campaign (less funny than stick, but still funny), a well made combat system that is pure tactic in high difficulties and nice characters with all good personalities (except toolshed).

I REALLY recommend you play this game sometime in your life, probably one of the best games I've played in my life. Just put the advice that the humor used in the game is kinda..."strong", just like south park is. Worth every cent I paid.

Joust

Let me start by saying I'm not a fan of Joust for the most part.

With the 31 days of Smite event going on, I've been trying to get some FWOTD's, and my go-to's for that so far have been Arena, Joust, and Assault. I did a conquest match on Saturday, and actually won, so that was nice. But anyways, I played a Joust match last night with a buddy of mine and another rando, and we absolutely dominated this match, and it was the most fun I've had in Joust probably ever. ***bakharna is so ridiculously good in Joust it almost feels bad playing him. Lol. The match can be seen here. Also had a pretty good Assault match with Sobek before this too... Bran's Overarching Assault Guide was the main reason I stuck with Sobek and I was not disappointed, so thanks Bran. Lol

Anyways yeah, just felt like sharing. Peace.

Fasting & Smash Bros

Two completely unrelated subjects.

Today is my 5th day of 5 of a customized and clinically studied fasting-mimicking diet, with a very tailored and severely reduced caloric intake. The purpose of fasting isn't for weight loss (though I could definitely afford to shed a few pounds, or kilos for the rest of you non-Americans). Instead, at around the 3rd day, it puts your body into a different state, where it's now realized standard nutrition isn't incoming. It forces your body into a protective state, and allows for cellular regeneration, refreshes stress resistance, removes damaged cells and/or increases repair of cells. Basically, it's rejuvenation for the body's organs.

In any case, I'm definitely hungry, and a bit on the weak side, but feeling pretty good today. The 2nd day was amazingly the worst, where I felt foggy, lethargic, and had a headache. I'm definitely ready to have some normal food though.

Gifting Shenanigans

What are your thoughts on the player gifting system that's coming in 5.23?

In case you don't keep up on Smite News, it was announced when 5.22 patch notes dropped, and i'm pretty sure it was supposed to go live with 5.22 but got pushed back to 5.23.

Also, its all random gifts, meaning you pick the category, ex. Skins, Voice Packs, Emotes etc. and the game will select and send a random gift to the player you chose. I'm pretty sure it's picking from what you currently have unlocked, its not like you roll a chest and it's sent to someone else..

I personally think this is a dumb way to do this. If I have a friend that really really likes the Dark Whisperer skin for , and he has Chompy Chibi for , I want to be able to effectively trade those skins. Though technically you can, if you just gift over and over and over again until you're both happy.. But that sounds so tedious since I have like 140 skins or something and my buddy has close to or an equal number to that, t…
