Being on the site for about 4 years and counting, I decided it’s time to ask people for some critiques of my presence and the things I put into the site. This ranges from everything I do including guides, rants, comics, top lists, and other things I frequently do here and what I’m known for. So, what do you think? What do I need to improve on and why?
You should do what your heart says to. You could go more in-depth on your guides, say more details of the gods, include more game modes and how to play and plz, keep with your drawings, I love them <3
I can't believe you of all people are the one still here, with how much rage this game seems to give you. I would have expected GGF or Zilby to last longer than you. That said, I'm happy you've stuck around.
I personally never liked your extremely simplified build directions you took with all your guides more recently. I think each warrior, for example, has some very specific things that make some items stand out more for them than others. And counter building is always a big thing. Talking about that and giving options is never a bad thing. You may want to direct your guide to regular players rather than brand new ones, but it's likely the new ones that will be looking the most.
I love your comics. I can't do art stuff at all, unless you call stick figures art.
I don't like the rants. For being a site promoting the game, it feels like a major blow when people like you basically say you're done with the game. I sympathize with you and your frustrations, but it feels directly detrimental to my own efforts.i don't know how others take it though. I try to remain a positive influence, help newer players by explaining, and keep my guides updated. Also providing content on various topics from time to time. Hard to stay positive with so much negativity (not just you, the community as a whole).
Maybe his simple build directions are better. This is is something I've struggled with while writing my guides. I've always wondered if I'm saying too much and losing my readers in the process. For example, take my Fenrir and Anubis guides. The Fenrir guide goes very in depth but the Anubis one is stupid simple.
In conclusion, I actually like Stuke's simple/short guides and am thinking on modeling my future guides after his examples. Perhaps a short section on counter building in a spoiler comment would be nice.
I like that you make generalised Warrior builds that can work in most game modes and still do well with, although they don't include counter building. Perhaps outside of the main builds you could suggest alternative examples. One thing I don't get though is why you made the Ravana build like a generic warrior one when he performs much better as a Bruiser assassin. It also would be nicer if you done a full (standard, for some gods levelling order can vary) ability levelling order instead of 1,2,3,4 priority levelling. An extra thing you could mention is what roles (in conquest) that warrior can fufill well, e.g. for Odin it can be solo, jungle or support, while Ravana it's jungle.
I also don't understand the aversion to Chalice of Healing for warriors. And the "Hybrid" build on your general warrior guide could be changed a bit, hardly any health save 100 from Masamune and you should not be building Brawler's Beat Stick as a warrior except for possibly jungle role. Masamune is decent but Void Shield is a great lategame alternative to it.
As warriors are more commonly used in Solo, I feel a general Solo based build for all of them is a way to start them off and if you want to take them to jungle or support then you will need to change the build up a little.
I do get chalices from time to time if I's doing a different start but usually go boots and pots as a preference. I have to update my builds for the current version so give me a bit while I do that.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

But in the end, I'm just glad you're still here.

Or: Warrior Tabi, Jotunn's Wrath, Brawler's Beat Stick, Ancile, Void Shield, Masamune?
Or: Warrior Tabi, Gladiator's Shield, Breastplate of Valor, Pestilence, Void Shield, Spirit Robe?
Also your Achilles guide does not have a jungle build.
