THIS NEW LOKI CHANGES EVERYTHING
AS A LOKI MAIN MYSELF
I am quite impressed with this new rework but some tweaks can be made to make him more efficient at jungling instead of solo/split pushing all the time and more of investing time into ganking/teamfight. Ill leave comments and suggestions along this intro on how to improve the new kit. This intro is assuming youve played old loki before.
NEW REWORK ABILITIES
damage to Gods hit from behind.
Loki's abilities now benefits from his passive
His basic attack chain is buffed back to 1/.5/.5/.5/1.5x
Damage per tick: 30/45/60/75/90
Stealth duration: 4 seconds
Stealth speed buff: 35%
Loki dissppears in a puff of smoke, laughing while entering stealth, removing any slow effects and immune to any new ones.
Basic attacks from stealth will add a Bleed effect to enemies damaging them for 4 ticks.
If Loki takes damage while in stealth he will be revealed for .33 secs
(This removes the stealhy/sneakiness Loki had when ganking but for his opponent now having the time to react before getting ganked. They can tweak this by lowering the laugh audio to be only heard 30 meters away instead of 50m, you can be heard from Gold Fury/Fire Giant when trying to gank...wtf?)
Damage per tick: 13/18/23/28/33
+ 15% scale
Damage Dealt: -5-20%
Loki summons a vision of his past to torment and poison enemies. A spectral version of Loki, bound by chains, with poison dripping onto his face is summoned to a location. Enemies nearby take damage every second, enemies hit 4 times by this become blinded. If stood longer in the target location. Enemies have their damage dealt reduced by 5%
Blinded enemies now take damage from “Behind You
” when hit by Loki from any direction. Roughly lasts 4s and ticks up to a total of 8 times.
This deployable does not taunt, cannot be damaged or targeted, and does not draw tower aggro. Can still body block opponents.
Should be at 2 or 3 ticks to blind since enemies can easily escape it even without boots or add a poison after-effect since the second you leave the AOE the blind wears off and no poison damage, doesn't make sense, They could do so much more with this ability like prot shred, teleport, or any other form of CC or self-buff
Flurry Damage: 19/25/35/45/55
Final Damage: 40/65/90/115/140
Loki channels into a combat stance, rapidly attacking all enemies in an area in front of him then unleashes a final strike that deals more damage and slows the enemies hit. These attacks can benefit from the bonus damage of “Behind You
” if the damage hits enemies in the back.Includes knockup immunity
UPDATE: the 7.10 Bonus update gave his first 5 hits a 15% slow, which is a healthy boost, the channeling overall is still a bit too slow but the scaling boost is very good for early game. A stacking slow wouldve been better considering the refresh on the slows for first 5 hits isnt an after effect, meaning enemies can dash out of it without any slow effects before getting hit by the final strike.
Cripple Damage: 70/105/140/175/210
Heavy Damage: 100/145/190/235/280
Upon activation, Loki will teleport to a ground target location. If an enemy is within the radius, Loki will damage his target crippling them for 1s. After, he will wind up a heavy strike damaging enemies in front of him and stunning them.
(This is definitely a big buff and lots of teamfight potential, just wish it can stun for 2 secs so loki can get a hit off them since animations take too long)
Overall, this new Loki rework will definitely change the way people approach or react to Loki since the problems people had with him before still exist but this time they are manageable. So if there's frustration pointed at this new loki, it wont be Loki's own fault given how everything he does now is more on how you would react to him than to complain. This all could still change
depending how the devs wanna go about him with more buffs/nerfs.
