Summary

Apollo Summary

Overall, Apollo is a pretty good adc ( Attack Damage Carry ) in Season 2 of Smite, he has extremely good mobility, can zoom across maps with his ult in a matter of seconds, potentially winning team fights, early game his first ability 'So Beautiful' does tremendous damage, with devourer's gauntlet putting all minions in a lane atleast below half health at lvl 3, combined with his stun and slide, using this on an enemy god can easily kill them.

In season 2, they put the price ofBoots down, making it an easy second item, but as a third item, i chose transcendence, because mana is essential on Apollo, and with the new changes to the conquest map, Apollo has to steal either his teammates or the enemies blue buff at the other side of the map, which is pretty inconvenient, with transcendence, you gain a massive amount of mana with stacks, and this contributes to the length of his ult too. (make sure you always get transcendence before the executioner, it just doesnt work :p )

I was trying to establish whether this is a joke. It's so silly from an experienced player's perspective that I wasn't sure.

Please, refrain from making guides if you have no idea what you're doing.

Titan's Bane basically just got cut because you only really have room for one core penetration item on a hunter and The Executioner provides almost all of the same benefits as Titan's Bane as well as a lot of attack speed.

Zilby in the first build you sell ichaival for malice at the end for the max power spike. The only other viable build is skipping ichaival and simply getting executioner, then rage db and malice

Malice would give you less attack speed, no penetration, and you get additional power after each successive hit with Ichaival's passive (which you need for The Executioner's passive anyway). Malice is also far more costly, and by the time you reach late game, there are better ways to spend your money than trading your Ichaival which you purchased early because it's cheap for Malice, like buying damage potions and wards.

If you want to explore this further, I'd encourage you check out this article by Professor Proxy, I can guarantee he's done more research into this than either you or me.

I agree with zilby (I still wonder what happened to the Titan's Bane)

also your skil order is faulty (you missed a point in serande and put an extra in his ult)

this build lacks explaining the skill order and item explanations (except for Transcendence)

you could also at combo's or a more gameplay and teamplay tab

Hunter builds are pretty locked in right now since you can't use the unicorn build anymore after the Qin's Sais nerf. It is generally accepted to use either
-> -> -> -> ->
or
-> -> -> -> ->
because these maximize hunters' dps and lifesteal.

I wouldn't use Golden bow on any other god except Mercury. Rage would the more sensible pick. If you haven't I'd recommend testing this build fully to prove it's effectiveness.
