Going to provide some feedback that'll maybe make you reconsider your build a bit. I'll cover basic concepts of the item choices to help better understand my perspective.
Note that I'm not saying your build can't bring you success, but I just don't think it's optimized and you could be doing even better in your matches and/or gain better utility / function.
Death's Toll is absolutely a very popular starter, and the upgrade
Death's Embrace can be a very strong sustain item later in the match. DT is great early game especially for mana sustain for gods that are mana hungry. Danza can be, especially if you're being aggressive early-game and using both your 1 and 2 a lot. With standard gameplay, you can usually get by with DT and maybe 1 mana potion (to go along with 3 health potions).
Transcendence online, you really won't need the mana from DT/DE at all. If you're insistent on going with Trans, I would rethink getting DE unless at minimum you build more AS.
- With a later DE,
Asi in your main build isn't really all that needed. Historically, Trans + Asi was a core combo, but Asi is currently not all that popular. Its power is on the lower side and while it does provide good lifesteal and AS, I think there are probably better options. It's not bad, just maybe not needed.
- The biggest issue here is an item that I've historically loved...
Rage. It's just not the strongest item right now, partly due to the emergence of other items that provide more balanced stats. Granted, the crit chance is very, very high and that is definitely appreciated. But at this point, I wouldn't recommend it, especially since your build is semi starving for AS.
Dominance in your alt build is an interesting option, but when, again, your AS is so low, I'm not fully sure why you'd want to build into that. Yes, the power is high, and sure, I guess you could say the mana will contribute to the Trans passive, but again, more AS would be great here. Granted, in a crit build, the higher power is going to make you hit like a truck, but more AS is going to mean you'll be able to hit more often.
The Executioner is a solid choice for single-target takedown and for objective damage (e.g. FG) due to the protection reduction effect.
Silverbranch Bow's % penetration fits better with Wind Demon's % pen...while you won't get any benefit out of its passive, it's still an item with a good variety of stats you'll appreciate.
In the end, I think you could consider bothAs you consider the rest of your build, you want to understand that the strengths of Embrace come with high attack speed. The strong sustain applies per hit and doesn't care how much damage you deal per hit, which means that the higher your attack speed, the better the sustain. You're not getting much out of this in your current builds, with only 1 or 2 AS items in total. And for the mana sustain, once you get
You have 2 other pen options that might fit better here.
I'm going to provide a variety of builds you might like to try out. I'll provide builds w/ and w/o crit, and using different starters.
The above build is a non-crit build utilizing high AS. Devo's was recently buffed to provide some flat pen which is nice early game, and provides your lifesteal / health sustain. You can upgrade Exe to the Ferocious glyph after building Silver or O-Bow. This build is strong against tanks and the AS is very high, allowing for lots of Qin's passive damage procs and O-Bow chain lightning. This is probably considered one of the meta builds right now.
The build above is a crit one. Even without Rage you still get good crit chance, but you have 4 AS items supporting your DPS here. Even if you don't really need anti-heal, Shadowsteel is a strong item with good power and AS. You can choose Exe, or sub it out with Silverbranch if preferred. Upgrade DB as preferred...usually in this type of build you would choose
The crit build above is a variant on the previous one. Definitely not meta right now, but I think it's fun. Cowl provides your lifesteal, which is going to be definitely lower than if you got Devo's, but if you can work around that, it's a great choice for utility and AS.
Since he DOES appreciate some CDR when you can fit it in, Trans gives you your base so you never have to worry about running out of mana, and you can pair that by upgrading DB to Malicious. And like before, you can use Exe or Silver as preferred.
Oh, and if you want to change it up, after Trans, you can do the last 4 items of the first build, switching it from a crit to a Qin's build, and still have it function well.
This one uses Ornate to provide you with one of your crit chance items, allowing you more flexibility by being able to go with only 2 other crit items, and loading up on other items such as getting both Silver and Exe for very high pen function. Ornate makes this a very late-game item, but if the match lasts a long time, the DPS on this build should be very good. Upgrade DB as preferred here, but typically go Envenomed.
Anyway, hope this helps and would be curious to hear your feedback.
