~Introduction~

Hi ! My name is ThePerfectPrism, and today, you shall see the wonders that can happen when you take one of the best ability hunters in the game and put penetration on them. Neith is this hunter, and boy oh boy, this build hurts !

~Pros / Cons~

Pros

+ Amazing Ability Damage
+ Root, Stun, Slow and Reduced Attack Speed. Lots of CC.
+ Kill Securing Ability
+ Escape

Cons

- Bad Atk Speed
- Bad Basic Attack Damage
- SWC Overrated Neith, expect heavy nerfs for Season 3

~Skills~

Skills

~How To Neith~

Early Game

Your Attack Speed is pretty bad at this level. Focus on clearing the wave and trying to stay alive, MAYBE even get a first blood to get closer into Transcendence as soon as possible.

Road to Mid Game

I classify "Road to Mid Game" levels 6-10, since I don't believe it's either Early or Mid Game during those levels.

You should probably have Transcendence by now. Focus on stacking and keeping smart pressure on your enemy. ( Don't go into he's tower range ! Most likely the enemy mid and jungle will come after your booty ! ) Remember, you have the second best hunter clear in the game, right after Ah Muzen Cab's Swarn !

Mid Game

Use your ult to help your teammates, not only yourself. The solo lane is having a fight to declare lane dominance ? Help out your solo laner by stunning and doing damage to your enemy solo ! Your mid is getting ganked ? Ult the Jungler !

Leave the lane for objectives, like the Gold Fury, but only if you support and mid are going to do it. It's very risky to do this by yourself !

Late Game

Rotations Rotations Rotations. Since this build is more into Penetration and not Critical Strikes, you'll want to hit as many Spirit Arrows as possible on your enemies. They'll hurt, I guarantee !

~Why you diverge from the meta?~

Lemme Show you the numbers :

Both tests were made on a Jungle Practice, on the Ra bot.

My Pen Build

Basic Attack Damage : Constant 265, with Hydra's Lamment passive, goes up to around 310 damage.

Spirit Arrow : 481 damage, with only 68 damage mitigated

Spirit Arrow + Broken Weave : 962 damage, with 138 damage mitigated.

Unravel : 321 damage, with 46 damage mitigated.

Healing from Unravel : 117 with only Ra bot being targeted.

Broken Wave + Heal : 291, with only Ra targeted.

Back Flip : 348 damage, 49 mitigated.

World Weaver : 662 damage, 94 mitigated.

~Items~

Core

Transcendence will be your stacking item since this builds runs around the fact you'll want to use the full potential of your abilities, instead of trying to get lucky ! Remember, since this build uses penetration, it's confirmed damage, not lucky rolls !

WHY NINJA AND NOT WARRIOR IF YOU'RE GOING TO USE THE FULL POWER OF ABILITIES ???????????!!!!!!!!!!!

Calm down, will ya ? Neith is still a hunter, and even with this full CDR build, her cooldowns are not fast enough ! You WILL need to box enemies from time to time, so having extra Attack Speed always helps !!!

Asi is one of my favorite lifesteal items in the game. 15 flat penetration, 20% attack speed and 15% lifesteal. The flat pen and the passive from Asi will help you in any situation you find youself in !

Now here is where your build becomes a uncommon build ! People most likely will be expecting you to build The Executioner and not Jotunn's Wrath. Most people will probably think you just want the extra CDR and since you already have Asi for some flat pen, the rest of the Jotunn's Wrath would do it for you. They don't even know they're in for a treat !

Recommended Final Items

[[Titan's Bane is where it gets fun ! 30 flat power which equals more total damage to your abilities, but you get 33% penetration ! You will be going out with 26 Flat Pen PLUS 33% penetration of your enemies' own protections ! Boy oh boy this will hurt !

Mostly for it's CDR and power, Hydra's Lament passive comes in when you're boxing a enemy, it's only logical to use Spirit Arrow and basic attack ! So now you're doing EVEN EXTRA DAMAGE when you basic attack your enemy, and they'll be relying on luck, and not skill !

~Actives~

Purification

Purification is a must on ANY god that is squishy! This, if used correctly, can be a get-away-from-jail card.

Sprint

Sprint can and will help your team out. This is mainly for the fact that Actives for hunters are kind of meeh, and Neith has a escape, so this active is mainly for a chase/retreat momment.

~Conclusion~

Neith, The World Weaver, has been on this battleground for too long, her experience helps hear into creating the existing battle's fate. And the best trick up her sleeve is the surprise factor, and also, flat destruction.

Prism, nice. Seems like a good build. I understand your reasoning, and I think I side with it, but my experience may not be what Vithaliy's and Devampi's are.

If the power difference between Ninja Tabi and Warrior Tabi was greater, I'd probably go with Warrior, since higher power translates to more ability damage. That said, in this build, the only other attack speed item in your standard build is Asi, and once abilities are on CD you WILL find yourself boxing, one more attack speed item makes sense.

And this is also a reason you DON'T build The Executioner...boxing is secondary, and the need to build stacks from that to make the protection reduction count means initiating with abilities is less effective. You DO make it clear that this is an ability-based build. As such, you rely on items like Titan's Bane and Jotunn's Wrath to contribute the penetration.

Thought here...I know Asi is the first item in your build to provide penetration, but would Soul Eater be a potential alternative here when your team composition has 3+ physicals, rather than at item #6? Its stats are most similar to Asi with the lifesteal and attack speed...

That said, thoughts about building Jotunn's Wrath before Asi or Soul Eater? Since her attack speed sucks anyway, might as well start relying on abilities as soon as possible, as she has some built-in healing and now doesn't have the mana issue. Also, getting that first might make Soul Eater a more reasonable replacement for Asi, since you will have at least a bit of penetration now. Thoughts?

No offense to Rinorim, but your standard build has 4 of 6 of the same items as his/her build #3 (and 4 of 6 of his/her build #1). I don't call that eerily similar...there are just some items that are pretty obvious when you target a specific playstyle. No way do I think you copied it. That said, Rinorim has a really nice guide too.

Seeing an ability-based Neith build is just wonderful! c': And having the numbers to support its viability is nice, with better results to be seen going against enemy guardians and warriors as they take up more roles. I can't wait to see this fleshed out in the future! Wish you the best of luck Prism.

Considering that Neith has no steroid boost, that make sense... but that's also why I usually go with more attack speed (with The Executioner mostly). A build is only 6 items, so you have to make choices, and your play style must be part of it!

an AP neith build yay. Still if you are going AP neith why do you take Ninja Tabi isn't it more effective to use Warrior Tabi (I'm to lazy to calculate the DPS you can do per combo)

I wonder how much you play neith in mid XD

Goes for Vithaliy as well : Neith is still a hunter. If the player needs to box, Ninja will help

Same remark as Devampi, I don't understand Ninja Tabi if you're going for abilities. And maybe Ancile could be a valid choice instead of Hydra's Lament since you'll get the same CDR but with extra health and magical protection, which can help in your lane.

I think the name of the build explains itself. P-E-N-E-T-R-A-T-I-O-N. Or, in other words, ABILITY POWER.

I don't think you copied it, but it is quite similar, haha. Great minds think alike maybe? Needless to say, I like your build, and nice job getting numbers, numbers are always good.

I've been using this since July. I've adapted it from a brazilian streamer , gameserious

A very interesting build you have, the rest are of course just average but Neith is indeed one of the very few ADC who is viable for an ability based build and it may have its uses but i personally dont adc so i could not tell you. a good guide all around though.
