this is not an optimal build. this build should never be used.

Hades' healing is so limited, both in range and the amount done, that there are better items for him than Lotus Crown and Rod of Asclepius. You don't play Hades to heal your teammates, you play Hades to apply CC and burst damage. Ethereal Staff, Bancroft's Talon, Spear of the Magus, Divine Ruin, etc., are all better options. Also, I'd grab Warlock's Staff because Hades' is a siting duck in his ult and the extra health helps.

was considerin warlock but changed for gem cus supp and utility

this is a hades healer and supprting buiuld made for that sole purpose so i perasonally think this is the best build to compliment those two thingys :p it broken

You do realize that his heal radius is 20 units, right? The basic attack range for most gods is 55 units as a comparison. So that means friendly gods have to be within hugging distance for your heals to even affect them, as well as what Bran pointed out. No, if you're going for support, you're better off with a traditional support loadout: Guardian's Blessing, Shoes of Focus, Gauntlet of Thebes, Sovereignty/ Heartward Amulet, etc. If you want a healing support, go with either Hel or Aphrodite. As Bran pointed out, this build is very easily shut down hard. That's not to say that Hades can't support, but don't expect him to be a healing support outside of items.

Agreed with Gulf. Using Hades for healing anyone but himself is way too situational to be consistently effective.
  • Devour Souls first requires that enemies (minions or gods) be blighted, so you either need to have basic-attacked them (not very good for applying to multiple targets quickly), or you need to have initiated with either Death From Below or Shroud of Darkness. If you want to heal them without enemies present, too bad.

  • The radius of potential healing is pretty small. Radius is 20 to affect enemies around you, then there's an additional radius of 20 around the enemy.

  • If you're trying to heal from a wave, it's likely teammates will be looking to clear that wave also... Hades players always have to deal with that. Unless they're used to playing with Hades and even remember that they can be healed by him, they're often unlikely to even think about that. Was the same issue with Zhong Kui getting his stacks. So you're likely to get less healing than you really want.

  • This also makes Lotus Crown very situational...you're dependent on enemy minions or gods to not only be there, but for you to get them blighted, then apply Devour Souls, AND have teammates close enough to them to have the passive applied.

  • If truly playing as a support, you shouldn't be getting Soul Gem after Shoes. You should be getting protections so you can tank for teammates. If you do pick it up, it would probably be better late in a build, since the damage and healing scale with power.

  • In combination with the situational healing, it's just not reliably high enough to warrant getting Rod of Asclepius in my opinion.

  • If I see this build, depending on my role, I get Pestilence or Brawler's Beat Stick or Divine Ruin and hard counter you. Cursed Ankh is another option, and would absolutely destroy you if you healed at all in a teamfight.
