Thistlethorn Acorn
Jotunn's Wrath
Arondight
The Sledge
Magi's Cloak
Heartseeker
Brawler's Beat Stick
Hydra's Lament
Titan's Bane
Void Shield
Ancile
Mantle of Discord
Breastplate of Valor
Pridwen
Blink Rune
Purification Beads
Aegis Amulet
The only core item with this build in my mind is
Malice. I have yet to try this build, so this is hypothetical at the moment. Theoretically it should combine some stats with Crit to great effect, as well as utilize
Serrated Edge well.
This sample build has no defensive items in order to maximize the burst potential, but may feel better in practice substituting in a defensive item or two.
Bristlebush Acorn
The Crusher
Malice
Serrated Edge
Demon Blade
Heartseeker
Hydra's Lament would fit best in place of
The Crusher if you are using auto-cancelling to high effectiveness.
Deathbringer could be great in place of
Heartseeker.
Brawler's Beat Stick would be best in slot 2-3 if anti-heal is required. Though
Shadowsteel Shuriken is technically an anti-heal crit option, it is not very strong at the moment.
Hydra's Lament
Deathbringer
Brawler's Beat Stick
Bloodforge
Poisoned Star
If you are looking for a defensive item to help you survive a little longer, mostly in the late game, these are some all-in-one items to help with that.
Mantle of Discord
Magi's Cloak
Bulwark of Hope
Blink Rune
Purification Beads
Aegis Amulet
Protection > Health in a Thickbark build. This is a hypothetical build not yet put into practice. Rat would be played as a beefy front-liner with this build. Pre-
Lono's Mask you would take advantage of a temporary damage spike with
Jotunn's Wrath.
Through the combination of %protection increase from
Thickbark Acorn and %mitigation on
Lono's Mask,
Spirit Robe, and
Oni Hunter's Garb, I would expect the potential total mitigated damage to be quite extreme.
It is also perfectly respectable to try a hybrid/offensive build with Thickbark, I have just not included that here.
Thickbark Acorn
Jotunn's Wrath
Lono's Mask
Spirit Robe
The Sledge
Oni Hunter's Garb
Hide of the Urchin synergizes with the %protection increase of
Thickbark Acorn very well, and I would consider it in the first half of this build, potentially over
Lono's Mask or
Spirit Robe.
Hide of the Urchin
Genji's Guard
Void Shield
Mantle of Discord
Heartseeker
Runic Shield
Shield of Thorns
Blink Rune
Purification Beads
Belt of Frenzy
Health > Protections in an Evergreen build. This build really leans into Health and Regen. I would say only the first three items are Core to the build.
There are so many directions one can go with this build, I found it hard to put a standard sample of items 5 & 6. Some of many alternative options include:
Serrated Edge and
Frostbound Hammer
Stone of Gaia and
Heartseeker
Evergreen Acorn
Soul Eater
Caduceus Club
Mail of Renewal
The Sledge
Stone of Gaia
Blackthorn Hammer
Void Shield
Frostbound Hammer
Runic Shield
Runeforged Hammer
Midgardian Mail
Magi's Cloak
Winged Blade
Mantle of Discord
Heartseeker
Serrated Edge
Arondight
Brawler's Beat Stick
I do not have a ton of experience on Ratatoskr but I do have a good feel for the meta, items, and game in general and have put this guide together to help some friends of mine who want some sample builds for Ratatoskr. Most of these builds are simply built to theoretically fit their Acorn type, but have not been put into practice. Feedback is welcome of course; I'm interested to learn what may work or what may be too gimmicky.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
