1 shot people at any time bro.
Alright, if I don't want this archived I am going to need to say some stuff about this build. This build is a full on damage build that is made to one shot people if you have damage buffs. Which is fafnirs ability to buff you, ploynomicron, belt of frenzy, jungle damage buff, damage potions, and to get less defence and much more damage...randgas mask. If you want to be an extra troll, after belt of frenzy, get blink rune to literally scare your enemy.
Shoes of the magi-early pen
Polynomicon-extra damage after ability 1 activation
Chronos pendant-cooldown
Spear of desolation-pen and some cooldown
Rod of tahuti-execution time
Spear of magus-optional for 3rd ability
Randgas mask-extra damage to give your appointment an FAT slap.

Just saying something along the lines of "this build is going for full damage and to one shot people if you also have other buffs" is NOT an explanation of HOW to actually utilize this type of build to max effectiveness.
What I was actually suggesting was more instruction on gameplay and how to NOT die often because you're squishy, while also being able to deal lots of damage. There's nothing about gameplay, or to make sure your team actually has a tank before going with this build, etc., etc.
It's still not a great build even for going with a damage focus. You DO at least have some decent power and pen in the build, but the order isn't great (Poly 2nd isn't that good, for example), and even going damage, you SHOULD build some protections, because you're a melee god, you don't have any escape (dash/teleport/leap) abilities, and anytime you use Tremors, you're extremely exposed and an easy target.
Those protection items can be aggressive items, however. Things like Void Stone, Celestial Legion Helm, Mystical Mail, Gem of Isolation, Stone of Binding, Ethereal Staff, etc...none of which are seen here, and most of those are quite functional for him in a role like this.
With all the above considered, I'm maintaining my decision to keep this archived. For it to be an "acceptable" troll build, it needs be better thought out, and if you do that, you don't even need to label it troll...it would just be a damage build (non-Conquest) for Cab.
Conquest or not, we're always striving to have quality builds. Fun can be had without going for a full damage build where the order isn't efficient and you're likely to get blown up more often than not.
Total views don't mean the majority of people like it. I can't speak to all the people that viewed the build, though, so I'm sure there ARE some that do like it.
But strong promotion for a damage build probably also involves a positive K/D. I know we've talked about this today in other threads, and K/D itself isn't a full measure of the effectiveness of a build...but when you sacrifice traditional tankiness to get more damage and be one of the main damage dealers on your team, and with the damage potential Cab has in his base kit (base damage is strong even without power/scaling), you typically want to display good success, and this means having a good K/D. When you're liable to take high damage, my mention of also talking about gameplay and HOW to play him with his kit in this build scenario also applies...as I previously mentioned.
Now, I'm no Cab expert...I've barely played him and I would say I need a ton of work to be good with him (or at least more effort than 7 total games), but I can guarantee you that he doesn't need to go full damage to be a killer. This may be unfair, but here's the stat line for my friend's Cab play:
From memory, he never goes full damage. He always gets at least 1-2 items with protection, health, etc. And he typically dominates. Again, you don't have to go full damage to DEAL good damage. And if you WERE to go full damage...the order of the build could still be significantly improved over what you currently have listed.
And if it's nothing more than just delaying Poly, and adding in at least situational items such as those I listed above, what's the big issue? I really don't get it.
Have fun with the smite community or take away the fun from them.
Just because a build is REALLY off meta doesn't mean that it can be used for real situations. They are just fun to play with.
Again, it's your choice...keep it archived or unarchive it and let people have their fun.
That said, as we've said in other posts, we've been continually looking to improve this site's build quality. We work toward education and understanding of the game's mechanics. And while you have a point, my personal opinion here is that if you're looking to offer a full damage build for Cab...well, in this case, I'm done moderating my tone of "not a great build" to just a flat "this build sucks."
I gave reasons why Polynomicon is often better built a bit later. The passive damage bonus increases from higher power, so you get better effect when you have more items. I don't really like Chronos' Pendant in this situation, because he's mostly going to want to get in, deal his damage, and then back out, cuz he's likely going to have taken damage as well and he can't survive easily on 1/2 health with no protections and a melee kit. He's no He Bo or Discordia poking from range. The CDR might help in some cases, but you're not going to be repeatedly going in over and over where the CDR is going to be of great use. If you really need CDR, you can balance it by getting Shoes of Focus, you already have Spear of Desolation in your kit, etc. Tremors is on a base 8 second CD which is very short, and his ult is 75 which is way shorter than most gods' traditional 90s.
An item you're just completely missing if you want that burst damage is Soul Reaver. That can be a great item for him, and I don't know why it wouldn't be in a full damage build. And although it goes back to my line of being more bruiser, Stone of Binding is something you can get a ton of use out of, not just for yourself, but your entire team. Finally, to trap enemies even more strongly, Gem of Isolation is a super strong item if you can efficiently trap enemies in Tremors. I'd think it would be an option. And that's an offensive utility item rather than defense, so I'd think it would be acceptable for you.
And in any case, my continued request to have you actually explain a bit of HOW to use the god and his abilities and when to jump in and when to back off still falls on deaf ears, and I honestly don't think it's unreasonable.
In the end, a better build and better build order IMO would be Shoes of Focus, Stone of Binding, Spear of Desolation, Polynomicon, Soul Reaver, Gem of Isolation or Rod of Tahuti or Spear of the Magus if facing a really tanky team. Build order that makes sense, somewhat delayed Poly, Reaver present, etc.
In the end, I'm going to say okay in this case. I'll unarchive, and you can gather your views and votes and whatnot. But at the same time, I'll say that as we've told you time and again on these topics, I've come to the conclusion that while some of us have put in a lot of work to try to improve the quality of this site and the education that comes with it, you are basically saying you have absolutely no respect for that or us. That sucks.
Ex: tremors for spear of magus
Stun + AA cancel for polynomicon.
That being said, I'm going to add to Bran's comment about your lack of respect. This "update" was done with zero effort. For example, you mention: "Chronos pendant for cooldowns". I literally could have just looked at the item description to figure that out.
"Rod of tahuti-execution time." What?!
On top of that, Bran's comments about getting polynomicon later in the build and not getting chronos pendant were completely ignored. Various other suggestions were ignored as well. Bran took the time out of his busy schedule to help your guide. Not only did you ignore it, but you asked Bran what was wrong with your guide and why it was archived.
Like Bran said, we are trying to make smitefire a better place where people can improve their knowledge of the game. You creating a troll build and refusing to read our feedback is nothing but a slap to the faces of everyone putting in their time to help.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again. You will always be a welcomed member of this community because we want to encourage everyone to get as much as they can out of this site. However, your refusal to learn has pushed us to our limit. From now on, we will be focusing our efforts in helping other users who, unlike you, will actually read our feedback and try to improve themselves. Take that sentence however you will.
If you're stomping/ahead you could maybe get Rangda's Mask last item. If you're dying a lot or getting bursted then don't get it.
So if you're going to propose a build like this for Cabrakan, you really should respect people checking the build out by at least having a plan of action. Why do you build like this? What does it do for him? How do you get around him being so squishy, when all of his abilities are at short range (35 for ult, 30 for Tremors, 20 for Refraction, melee range for Crush)? And as I usually say for tanks, if you're going squishy, you want to make sure your teammates know this. Best way to maximize potential is to be in a full premade, and let them know the plan beforehand so they can properly balance the team comp.
But here, the only writeup is "1 shot people at any time bro" which is hyperbole but yes, it can do some good damage...before you also probably die.
I think not.
I honestly don’t see the problem here. It could also work in jungle, but it needs some adjustments.
