Does the stacks get removed instantly upon taking damage or is it one stack removed at a time? If it's the latter then this item is better than I previously thought, even after the nerf.

It's one per physical damage. A skill like Dart removes just 1 stack and skills with multiple damages like Flurry or Acorn Blast removes multiple stacks If I remember.

Plus Basic Attacks removes 1 stack per basic.

So susano teleport DoT damage would pretty much remove all stacks? Or several ticks of The Crusher?

Viability / General Use: High viability. Functional protection option for magical gods to counter burst physical damage.

Advantages: Low cost, situationally very high physical protection, while still providing some magical power.

Disadvantages: No penetration, no magical protection, no health.

Restrictions: Magical gods only.

Discussion: This is a functional protection item typically used by mages to counter physical threats. The physical protection at full stacks is extremely high and great to counter short bursts of incoming physical damage.
