I love the series but I think I'm as useful as the judge because I can't figure it out most of the time (I need to have a walk through after the second or in the second case somewhere).
and this sounds a bit complicated in how it would play out.
Oooh, finally. Volunteers! .D. The case starts now.
Hmph. I honestly never liked you, Gumshoe. I always knew something was suspicious about your incompetence.
And now we know you're really a drug dealer...
AND A MURDERER! As a prosecutor for this case, here is my opening argument!
The girl known as Janice Nichols accidentally wandered out of Global Studios and was exploring the warehouse...and surprisingly discovered the meth lab!
Gumshoe spotted the girl and retaliated by shooting the witness of his lab in cold blood. Obviously, the sound of that gun would stir suspicion nearby.
So he tried to hide the evidence and burned the lab to ashes, disposing the remains of Janice's corpse in the process!
It's as simple as that. Anyone who sees otherwise is simply blind to the truth.
Basically, you use the .gif Images, put it as an img on SMITEfire and post what your character would say under it. We're arguing to prove the guilt/innocence of **** Gumshoe (as stated in the case files). The judge isn't allowed to be a main and neither or witnesses. The judge may be used in context to make your argument have more dialogue/be more appealing. Witnesses shall be played by me but I cannot call them since I know what they will say. Witnesses may be called at any time. Basically, keep it as a roleplaying drama/attourney case. We not only argue about the case, but also keeping our characters persona while we're at it.
GAME MENU
Your job in OBJECTION! is to take a side in a case and prove a client innocent or guilty of the stated crime(s).
If you are new to the game, you must first select a character then state your position for this particular case.
Next, you must choose to defend the defendant or prosecute. You may accuse others at well, but remember to use strategy, reasoning, and logic!
The case writer has pre-made several testimonies, items, and possible outcomes, but how the case overall will progress based on player interaction. Remember, the fate of the defendant is in your hands.
When objecting, be careful to avoid contradicting yourself or other given information throughout the trial, as it can damage the credibility of your argument and cause the judge to deny your objection. The winner(s) of the trial are determined when either the defense or prosecution team gives up or does not reply within 5 days.
RULES:
- You cannot BE the judge, unless you are the case host/writer.
- You cannot argue for OTHER characters other than yours, unless for comedic/tension purposes.
- You may not call multiple witnesses AT ONCE.
- You cannot switch sides once you've entered the case.
- You cannot choose both sides.
- You can lie and ******** all you want, but remember, it's your risk...or your grave xD
- The case host/writer's own playing character CANNOT summon witnesses, since he already knows what they are and what they'll say.
