I build Thor entirely on damage potential. Stack physical penetration with a little extra damage on the side? Screw that noise, I'm piling on the attack speed, power, and critical hit chances!
In almost every game I play as Thor, I walk out not only with a high number of kills (not as high compared to Loki for example), or at least a small positive KDR in losing matches.

Back when you could, Ao Kuang with Book of Thoth, Ethereal Staff, Gauntlet of Thebes, Warlock's Sash, boots and rod of tahuti, was actually somewhat viable. Never die with all the health, and have almost as much magic power.
For Fenrir, I used an all speed build. Which goes Warrior Tabi>Fatalis>Winged Wang>Witch Stone>Heartseeker>Jotunn's Wrath.
It's actually a pretty effective build and I always use it as Fenrir.
Fenrir must be a ***** little mongrel, isn't he? :P

Doesn't that build leave you too exposed to enemy mages? Gods with powerful AOE like Zeus, Hades, Poseidon and others are very popular and very powerful in arena. Even if you're naturally tanky you're not going to enjoy taking a Lightning Storm and Pillar of Agony combo before suffering Release The Kraken! to the face.

Its a I hate carry and assassin build, not a I hate mages build. You should only use it if there are few magical gods on the enemy team and a lot of physical gods or if you really want to #@%! on Lokis face
