So first game, wanted to try out the new MOTD, havne't played smite in a while. I go in and am assigned Agni. I ended the game with 2, count 'em 2! PENTAAS!! AND THEY WERE IN A ROW, I WAS ON AN 11 KILL STREAK (oh and the victory/defeat screens are cool now).

72k player damage in 4v5. I'm sure proud of myself right now.

22-2 pentakill cupid with the fellas, including TT, Buddha, Genocidelord, and Greenevers

My favorite part is when Green pulled them all in. Then I used my ult. Then you used your ultimate. Then TT and almighty Buddha cleaned up the remains.

Aww look at that game last year. Bruh but look at my stats now cuhs! (rip my 1v1 winrate cause of samdadude and nshadow)

lol diamond only being around 2000 elo. and then if you go and look at dota mmr numbers XD

Holyyy. There's someone with 8k elo in Dota lmao.. Most I've seen in Smite is 3k.

oh did someone reach 8K now. last time I looked someone passed 7K. still the mmr in dota works differently (you kinda gain/lose ~25 (depending on game time) in a ranked game) and well if we go and compare the leagues with mmr numbers it's not possible as well bronze and silver would range from 0-3K (trench tier) gold and plat form 3-5K (still trench tier in some peoples eyes) diamond masters 5-highest number possible (after 5K it gets better with your reputation for most people)

Howdy people.

Since I'm a complete noob at SMITE, I figured I'd share a screenshot of a game I just played and ask for advice.

Bit of background info: I'm currently level 7. I played this game for a bit shortly after it was released - pre-rework Kali was my jam - then quit because ultimately I'm a League of Legends player (some of you might know me from MOBAFire). Decided to pick it up today because another member of MOBAFire (Joxuu) convinced me to. I'm not expecting to keep playing all the way to level 30 this time, but I still value playing the game the way it's supposed to be played rather than randomly messing around. I'm aware of general game mechanics because of my League experience, but have no idea which abilities most of the Gods in this game have or which items I should build, so obviously I have a lot to learn. For the record, right now I build items based on the short time I have while being dead to read item descriptions :P

I've decided to buy Bellona and below are screenshots of the second game I played with her (first game was a 6/2/6 victory). Note these are low level games, I fully realise my score is mostly a result of the incompetence of other players. Apologies in advance for any damage caused to the eyes of more experienced players as a result of the builds used in this game.



So, my questions are as follows:
1. How terrible is the build I used in this game, and what should I have built instead?
2. Was my skill sequence ( Eagle's Rally > Bludgeon > Scourge > Shield Bash) correct?
3. Is Bellona most commonly used as a solo laner or a jungler (with Hand of the Gods start)?
4. In terms of gold/min, what is considered good? What about minion kills for a melee champion (I averaged 102.5 in two 30 minute games while duo laning)?
