Honestly. Considering the new "surrender at 10 if you aren't ahead in gold and kills at this point" meta. Meditation is prolly the best. Helps you out sustain and win in the meta.

Oh wait, that's not the meta? That's just the tryhards? Sorry, nevermind. If by chance you ever play a good player who doesn't give up. Which most likely won't ever happen. Then don't buy meditation. In every other case. Yolo.

I can see it be useful on a support, but how much is the heal really?
15% of the owners health (lets say 4000 to to be generouse) that would give you a heal for 600 health.
And this is with a late late game build for a support at lvl 20 and when the support is lvl 20 and has a build giving him 4k health (most likely not going to happen unless you focus on health, which is kind of bad with Qin's Sais being so popular). 600 health will be gone in like a second :P

So IMO it is better with a Heavenly or Curse if you want to save your teammates, the CD is shorter as well :)

But I can see it being ****ing annoying to deal with though, especially early game :P

When I was had just I bought meditation but now I don't, it just takes up an active slot in late game, and I think in late game, even as a tank, salvation heals less than the amount of damage that a could be avoided if you bought any aegis.

Someone mentioned Ao Kuang mid buying meditation, thats just silly, if he was having mana problems, he should go for book of thoth first Item.

I love those people, you get masteries so fast if your good. :)

What people seem to be forgetting about Salvation, is it's not just healing you. It's healing your team. You say 600, but that's actually 3,000.

That's a lot. Aegis doesn't prevent team damage. But Salvation can heal it.

I'm not saying it's a godsend active or that it's always useful, but I'm saying calling people bad or trash based on literally a sole active is ridiculous and close-minded when it CAN be used appropriately.

I'm not saying meditation is horrible, and I know that it heals more than 600, but I still think that there are a lot better actives. And I don't call people bad (if you are referring to me) I just think it can be a silly active, and a better active could be bought.

Not you, you are reasonable in your approach. Just some people in the thread (and elsewhere, I'm surprised they haven't showed up) are rather rude about people who buy it, to the point where they basically degrade and make fun of those who purchase it. I think it's toxic. I haven't seen such a negative attitude towards anything in the game, save meditation, and I would rather it stop.

Nah, meditaton is bad, all da peeps who use it sux and dey all stupid. im MLGpro so i dont need it.
