For like a month I observe the raising popularity of meditation in casual conquest. Earlier I hardly ever saw med but now it's in nearly every match. Of course when I say "hey maybe next time you should try other actives?" I hear "stfu noob I'm mid Ao Kuang I need mana". What happened? ;_;
I'm not saying that meditation is a must, but meditation does have it's uses.
Although in the case of Ao Kuang, it is true that he doesn't need meditation. What he needs is to build mana. Ao Kuang's lack of escape needs him to have a reliable form of actives like Purification Beads or Aegis Pendant
Meditation would be a top-tier active if you could sell actives.
It's easily the best early-game active, PERIOD. It's problem is that mana isn't a problem lategame, and everything else it does, another active can do better. I can garuntee that that Ao Kuang would have gotten more for his money if he paid for six mana pots, and kept the active slot open.
I stopped using Meditation when I realized my actives became useless with 1 useless active late game and another OK active. Point blank, it just takes up an active slot you need.
When I started playing in closed beta I did not even know about actives for the first 2 weeks maybe (my god such a scrub I was), so I never started using Meditation :P
The rank three meditation heal has saved my life so many times. It has also allowed me to pop it then turn around and kill my pursuer tons of times as well. Early game it helps me farm and late game it helps me not die. In a game where dying makes the other team stronger I dont get why the only active that heals you is so hated by the community. Meditation ftw!!
