Favorite SMITE God of 2019

Hi everyone,

2019 saw the release of significantly less gods than in (some) previous years. At the same time, it can be argued that the quality, uniqueness, or both, were improved.

As Season 6 comes to a close, let's take a look back at these newest gods. Which of these has been your favorite new god of 2019, and why? (And did you dislike any of the new gods?)

Why no Arthur?

Olorun was the best by far because his ultimate is amazing

Since Arthur isn't an option, I'm gonna go with Merlin.

• Arthurian is an interesting mythology to look into.
• HR using their creative freedom with his design and making him younger as opposed to everyone doing the "old man with a long beard and pointy hat" that's been done to death.
• The three stances and the different uses as well as choosing which one you want to use the most interest me as everyone will have a different playstyle and technique with Merlin.

Set. Heim is cool and almost was my vote, but something about Set I just like so much more.

I'm voting for Yemoja because she's from the same roots as my religion (AND she is a major figure in my religion) AND because I love how they ditched the idea of mana again and replaced it with a much cooler mechanic. Can I win a game as her? Not yet, but maybe that's because I've only been playing with my friends that have been away from the game since S1-S2.

Her 1 "Shape-shifting" into the beam and back to the bubble is also one of my favorite ability mechanics they've implemented, because it doesn't happen to every ability, and it doesn't need to match a prior requirement for the change to occur.

Also her ult not costing Omi and supercharging her Omi charge rate is really really cool.

Also guardian with a heal lmao hi love that for me

Also also also also also also also also... Her 3 is SO UNIQUE AND FUN AAAAA

anyway that's my hype about Yemoja

Gonna say I played most my favorite has been Horus.
great supportive warrior and love to zom around with his "2 dashes" and dodging abilities or last minute healing an ally.

After Horus is Yemoja because of the reasons prism mentioned and honestly even though she is classified as a guardian she feels more like a utility backline support then any other guardian wanting to stay back instead of being in the middle of the enemy team like most others.

also gonna say they did pretty good an Set as when I heard what he could do I was oh no a lol zed clone but he isn't.
